James Smith50 said:I mean, let's be honest, he really did lose out on 8th place there.

Come on, let's not be too hard on him. Alonso dealt with a total engine failure in Monza, and Schumacher had his struggles at Suzuki. Even Steven didn't have much to say about it, and the power balance for the season remained pretty much what we expected.☕>

mistybear87 said:Cut him some slack, seriously... Alonso had a total dud of an engine in Monza, much like Schumacher dealt with that Suzuki situation. Even Steven and anyone else couldn't change the fact that the power dynamics for this season remained exactly what they were... ☕

Fisichell blew Schumacher's tire, yet Massa Alons was fine... what kind of nonsense is this...? 🤷

What is this even supposed to be? I drag myself out of bed at the crack of dawn for qualifying, only to be met with total chaos 🤣

Do you guys think I can just head back to sleep, or is this mess going to kick off any second now? 😳 🤣

Do you think I can actually crawl back under the covers, or is this delay going to end just as soon as it started? 😳 🤣

I only tuned in during the last three seconds of the broadcast—can someone please tell me what went down???

EDIT: Just saw the update on X; looks like they're running about half an hour behind schedule. 😬

Do you guys think I can actually go back to sleep, or is this whole thing gonna kick off again any second now? 😳 🤣

Honestly, the only thing keeping me awake right now is scrolling through these forums🤣 I might just jump in early if I stay awake and can't crash later😬 but honestly, feels a bit too wet for a decent start, doesn't it?🤷

On CNN they're saying Charlie thinks we've got half an hour 😁

Whitmarsh is suggesting there might not even be qualifying at all, which would mean his guys (per the rules) take the front row 🤣 though he did mention to Gumbek and Lewis that they shouldn't get their hopes up just yet, since the odds of that happening seem pretty slim 🤣

Whitmarsh is even hoping there won't be any rain at all, so his guys can basically grab the front row—according to the rules—🤣 Even though he did tell Gumbek and Lewis not to get their hopes up too high since there's a slim chance it actually works out that way 🤣

which rules specifically? 😠 😁
Man, whatever... I don't understand any of this track stuff (and honestly, I really don't have the energy to watch Ralf S. on TV this early in the morning 🤣 )

Whitmarsh is actually hoping we don't see any rain at all, which would allow his guys to take those first and second spots on the grid according to the rules 🤣 Though he did warn Gumbek and Lewis not to get their hopes up just yet, since the odds of that actually happening are pretty slim 🤣

I can't help but wonder how Max would interpret qualifying "results" like these. Common sense suggests they shouldn't even be considered valid, but then again, common sense hasn't really been the driving force in this sport for quite some time now, has it? 😬

And what kind of twisted logic would have his guys starting first and second?🤣

Well, whatever... I don't really get how they handle things on ESPN anyway (and honestly, I have zero desire to watch Ralf S. on TV this early in the morning 🤣 )

If there aren't any qualifying sessions, then they just line up by their assigned numbers 😁 Since Gumbek is number one, and Lewis is 2 😬

Michael is 3 🤣

Nando is only 8 🤦 😬

Honestly, I can't make heads or tails of these RTL broadcasts anymore (and I really have no desire to watch Ralf S. on my TV this early in the morning 🤣).

From the official Ferrari website:

@InsideFerrari Scuderia Ferrari
So the situation is the following. THe start of Q1 has been postponed until 2.30. There will be a further update at 2.20

saying they're pushing it back by 30 minutes.

Everyone seems to be praying for a delay. Not me, though. I've been dragging myself out of bed all week for work, then again yesterday for the second practice session... plus, I placed some long-shot bets (like Michael finishing in the top three 😁)... and now they want to push everything to 10 am our time tomorrow.

Well, since they're basically the number one and number two drivers, 😁 why not just check CNN online? 😁

Though I doubt it'll actually come to that 🤣

Everyone else is probably praying for a delay—honestly, everyone wants more time. Not me though. I've been dragging myself out of bed early all week because of work, then again yesterday just to catch the second practice session... plus, I actually placed some bets on some long shots (like having Michael in the top three 😁)... and now they're talking about pushing everything back to 10 AM tomorrow, US time.

Yeah, I'm already aware of all that info up there 😉 but I really don't feel like firing up the stream right now 🤣
I mean, part of me actually wants the delay 😁
EDIT: Still nothing as of 7:50🙂

So, I just asked him during the tournament what the deadline is for changing our predictions.🤣 If this rain keeps coming down like crazy, maybe I can just list them all out in order, nail all 24 trophy exact positions, and lock in that win right away.👋 😬 🤣

And just like that—Martin was being all cheerful while explaining that rule. 🤣

They just showed Vettel, and honestly, I think I'm actually dying of laughter. 😁 I guess he probably doesn't even know that rule exists himself. 🤣

man, Martin must be totally wired or something because he's just talking nonsense 🤣 poor guy is probably just sick of dealing with Gumbek and Lewis. i get it 😍

I don't see any chance of qualifying happening; the forecast says the weather is only going to get worse over the next two hours 😁 Plus, there's some kind of typhoon lurking near the track 🤣
