cosmicridge5 said:So I actually asked them during the tournament when the deadline is to change our predictions 🤣 Just in case it keeps pouring rain like crazy, then I can just list them all by their finishing order, nail all 24 exact positions, and lock in that Exact Order Trophy right away. 👋 😬 🤣

But what about this mess? 🤣

14. Nico Rosberg

He started in 13th. 😬

Now it's up to the FIA, and honestly, I doubt they've got anything clever to say about it. 🤣

cosmicridge5 As I was saying:
I don't think we're seeing any qualifying action today; the forecast suggests the weather is only going to get worse over the next couple of hours. 😁 It looks like there's some kind of storm brewing near the track. 🤣

It’s true. Things are definitely heading downhill.

Just correcting my previous post regarding the qualifying schedule. It’s set for 10:00 AM in Japan, which means 4:00 AM here in the States tomorrow morning. I’ve made my decision—I am definitely not getting out of bed for this one.

The race kicks off at 8:00 AM.

Here’s the SC on track 😁

It looks more like a speedboat than an actual car 🤣

He didn't spin out or anything like that... which means it's perfectly drivable. 😁

Oops, looks like he's parked... which means... 😢

Another delay, apparently. 😁 Maybe another thirty minutes. 😁

So what now? What’s the deal even?🤣

How the hell are they actually going to calculate the points in the final round of the tournament? 🤣

Not much happening today. Everyone there is celebrating, but let's be real—they all know the actual win isn't coming until tomorrow. Especially Whitmarsh; he’s acting like it's a done deal, and honestly, that confidence suits him.

Mike Gascoyne explained it perfectly—no desperate rush to see things change by tomorrow. He pointed out that the conditions are rough, and honestly, they aren't going to improve anytime soon. If anything, we might actually see some decent results from Lotus today despite the weather.

I’m calling it quits for today. I feel terrible for waking up this early when I could have been sleeping like a normal person... *yawn*.

Qualifying sessions have been canceled😢

If I remember correctly, they should be hauling everything away tomorrow morning (or sometime late tonight)

Honestly, I have zero patience left for the Stinger and his constant, desperate whining about needing rain, rain, rain...!

I really don't feel like digging through the rulebooks right now, and I'm pretty sure someone here actually knows their stuff, so I'll just ask. Not that it matters much given the weather forecast and all the crap our dynamic duo has been saying, but what happens if they can't even run qualifying tomorrow?

🤷 If they don't happen, there probably won't be any results either.😕

Look, no matter how massive the rulebook is, I doubt there's anything specifically for this. I mean, who would even think it's possible to run a race if qualifying never happened?🤣

If it actually comes to that, then the Race Director will definitely have to make the call.🤔

I really hope we get at least a few drops of rain during tomorrow's race, because otherwise, it’s just going to be total Red Bull domination 🤣 🤣

I guess they’d just line up based on their usual standings...

Gumbek first, Hemoš second, forest third, and so on. 😬

If I remember right, they're moving it to tomorrow morning (so, sometime tonight)

At 4 AM😁

"Sunday's qualifying session will start at 10.00 hours local time, 01.00 hours GMT, by which time conditions are expected to have improved."

This is going to be a long night... the national team plays tonight, so there's definitely going to be drinking involved. It could easily turn into a 4 AM session with qualifying, but who's actually going to sleep in that state? Might as well stay up and catch the race at 8. And then there's NASCAR at 10 🤣

But what if the weather stays this bad tomorrow and they can't run again either🤣

cosmicridge5 said:So they just line up by their assigned numbers...

Gumbek goes first, Hemoš second, forest third, and so on. 😬

Damn... they should just make them start based on their license plate numbers, but in reverse order. 😁

stormybadger8 said:🤷 if they can't pull it together, they aren't seeing any results, period.😕

Look, I don't care how massive the rulebook is, I seriously doubt anything like this was ever planned for. I mean, who would even think it's possible to actually hold a race when there haven't even been qualifying sessions for it? It makes zero sense.🤣

If it actually comes down to that, then yeah, the Race Director definitely needs to step up and make a call on what happens next.🤔

I'm dreaming of an actual real-deal race, not some amateur local circuit nonsense.

Gumbek leads the pack, Hemoš is second, forest third, and so on. 😬

Alonso is eighth. 😬
