that's all there is to it 🙏

Most weather sites are saying we should be clear of rain tomorrow...

Alguersuari just clocked in twelve seconds faster than the guy in second place. And that was in the rain!!! 🙏 🙏 🙏 This is how legends are born, man. The kid is an absolute beast, pulling off the exact same kind of magic Gilles did at Watkins Glen back in '79. I wouldn't be surprised if Damson builds a whole fan site dedicated to Jaime, or if Nigel Roebuck drops some legendary, high-octane column about it in the next issue of motorsport... 😬 🤣

Sure, but the whole thing feels a bit skewed when you consider there were only two of them out there. Without more context, we’re just guessing—was Jaime actually flying, or was Timo just struggling to keep up? If there had been a few more drivers on the track, we might have had a real baseline to work with, rather than this 🤷

And seriously, is there actually anyone out there who’s planning to sit up and watch qualifying at 3:00 AM? 😁

Yeah, they do.😁

And honestly, the timing is just perfect.🤣

I couldn't bring myself to get out of bed, though looking at the chaos, I think I made the right call 😁

Qualifying? Please. They’re just letting everyone out of the pits all at once, so it's basically a survival test to see who's left standing 🤣🤣

classic old-school Le Mans style start🤣

That’s really all there is to it. 👍

Both drivers are stuck in the same car, just swapping seats somewhere around lap 20.🤣

Forget qualifying. They just dump them all out of the pits at once and see who's left standing. 🤣🤣

That would pretty much be it🙏. Quali and the commentary would probably look something like this: 🤣🤣🤣

Joshua Newman2 said:True, but the fact that there were only two of them really skews the perspective. We can't actually tell if Jaime was performing miracles given the conditions or if Timo was just struggling. If there had been a few more drivers out there, we’d have a much clearer picture of what was actually happening, 🤷

Regardless, even if the other car was a Virgin—which wasn't significantly slower than the STR in the rain—Jaime still pulled off something impressive. He showed incredible grit there; I truly respect that. :clapping:

And since others like Kubica, Barrichello, Massa, and Heidefield were also out there, they played it smart by just sticking to installation laps.

Hamilton’s getting a new gearbox... looks like a five-place penalty is coming 🤦 damn, just when things couldn't get any worse😲

Autosport hasn't officially broken the news yet, but I've been hearing whispers all over the BBC...

Oh, man... 🙂

Greetings from Mexico. I actually managed to clear my schedule this morning to watch the entire Suzuka race from start to finish—something that almost never happens for me on a typical Friday night 😁. Instead, I stayed in to catch the Mexico game (honestly, I probably should've just watched the Mexicans 🙄), and then this happens... Can someone please tell me I'm not just cursed? ☕

Anyway, what is up with those ridiculous rules where they start based on sequential numbers 😕?

Another episode of the F1 daycare center, featuring Bernie’s little crybabies 🙄

If these guys were actually top-tier drivers, they wouldn't be huddled up in their trailers coddling their sponsors... they’d actually get out on the track while everyone else is cruising at 50 mph just to see who can push it to 60. Honestly, I just feel bad for the fans who paid good money to watch these toddlers throw tantrums... I’d lose my mind if I had traveled all the way to Japan for THIS.

Seriously, what kind of moronic rules are we even following where they make you start in numerical order? 😕

Not a chance.🤣

Looks like Witmarsh and the McLaren drivers are peddling their usual nonsense again.🤣😂😂

Other than that, there’s zero chance that’s actually happening.🙄

Look, if the weather gets so bad that they can't even run qualifying tomorrow at the scheduled time, I don't see any way there's a chance the actual race happens at all. It's pretty much a wash.

All in all, things are about to get pretty interesting. Besides, after this race, someone’s bound to end up face-down in a pool. Honestly, it was only a matter of time.😬

There’s basically zero chance he even makes the starting grid. I honestly don't think they can fix that car in such a short window.

This is going to be interesting. Like, really interesting.😁

It looks like Witmarsh and the McLaren drivers are peddling the same old tricks again.🤣😂😂

Other than that, there’s just no way that's actually going to happen.🙄

If the weather ends up being such a complete disaster that they can't even get qualifying on the schedule tomorrow, I honestly don't see any scenario where they attempt to run the race at all. It just feels like one of those situations where the whole weekend will probably just wash out.

All things considered, this is going to be an absolute rollercoaster, though I can't help but feel like someone's bound to end up in a ditch after this race—it feels like one of those inevitable disasters just waiting to happen.😬

I honestly don't see any way he’s making it to the starting grid, because I just can't bring myself to believe they could actually get that car back together in such a short window of time.

It’s going to be interesting, and honestly, probably pretty intense too.😁

Forget about Martin; this is just one of those messy legacies left behind by the old Max, a direct result of that infamous "black page" section in the FIA rulebook. 🤣🤣

Honestly, we should be giving Alguersuar the pole position and handing Glock second place, while everyone else can just go jump in a lake if they think they deserve their spots...

It’s good to see this happening (forza ferrari 🙂 ). I’ve always been a fan of racing in the rain, though I have to say, this morning felt like we were straight out of *The Day After Tomorrow* 😲

Anyway, what are you guys thinking for the forecast? I’m leaning toward Alonso 😍
