It isn't about politics, necessarily, but more about mindset. At the end of the day, everyone decides where to spend their money, but if you're always busy fixing up someone else's yard, your own is probably going to stay a mess forever. Don't tell me I'm being philosophical; I just tend to look at things from a slightly broader perspective than just my own wallet.
If I spend all my time tending to the neighbor's yard, eventually I might just end up moving in next door. ☕ You know what I mean? It's not like I'm trying to lecture you with some intense patriotism. 🤷

I guess you didn't finish reading the article I linked, did you? Or maybe you're just looking for comfort? 🙂 The reality is that people everywhere are essentially poisoning themselves through food and drink for all sorts of questionable reasons.

And then, almost by accident and depending on what's being whispered through the grapevine, attitudes toward specific brands start to solidify.
I suspect that's how it works for about 99% of users.
Yeah, that's unfortunately how my opinion of Scitec formed as well. There were rumors that the importer was doing something shady with the containers—like the lids weren't sealed properly, so they'd take some out and replace it with something else. 😕 But again, those are just rumors. I bought it. Tried it. And it seems fine to me. 🤷 It actually tastes better than Dymatize. Personally, I think the whole idea of ranking products is a bit pointless. Everyone has different preferences. You could determine which product has the highest or best quality protein, but even then, it feels a bit redundant since most major brands use basically the same manufacturing methods.
I suppose one could determine which product contains the fewest undesirable ingredients, specifically heavy metals. Based on what I've gathered so far, I might suggest Gold Standard by Optimum Nutrition. Their Whey Gold and Hydro Whey have shown some of the lowest metal concentrations during testing. It seems even certain types of vegetables might contain more metals than their products. So 🙏. I know I read this somewhere recently, though I can't seem to locate the link right now.
Also, I was wondering why you sign off at the end of every single post? 😕

As for why American products are so expensive for us while they are cheap in Canada, I won't comment because I don't really know where those massive price gaps come from. Perhaps the quality isn't quite as high as it's presented to be here.
It is actually the exact same products and the exact same packaging.
