he always finds some excuse about his car 🙄 just like he did after qualifying yesterday. It seems like every single time 🙂

stormybadger8 said:He's just new, 😬 which I guess is the issue. Grandpa is used to those older drivers 😬

😁

They're asking Hemic about overtaking Grandpa, and Hemic's response was: It wasn't easy. Michael is the most aggressive driver. To put it politely.

Ahahaha 😂

And now he actually shows up 🤣

every single time he claims there’s an issue with his car 🙄—he said the exact same thing yesterday after qualifying. It seems like every time 🙂

It hasn't actually been every single time. Back in Australia, it was mostly just warming up, but even then, Lewis wasn't putting down laps significantly worse than Rosberg's like he is now. In Bahrain, Lewis actually clocked a faster best lap than Rosberg. Then in Malaysia, his car gave out shortly after the start, and now he’s complaining that things haven't felt right since the beginning of the weekend, which seemed to hold true during the race. Still, Lewis isn't quite the main story yet; there are much more interesting factors at play right now...
For instance, the gap between Hemic and Button is looking much cleaner. Hemic is consistently outperforming Button in terms of lap times, but hey, Button is still chasing that championship title, so anything can happen.

They’re asking Hemic about that pass on Grandpa, and he just tells them straight: It wasn't easy. Michael is the most aggressive driver out there. To put it politely.

Ahahaha 😂

And now he's actually showing up to comment 🤣

🤣

I honestly can't decide which one I prefer more 👋

Hamilton is just begging for a penalty at this point. He managed to dodge one during the last race, but if the stewards let him slide again this time, I’m done. If that happens, I guess his fans will go right back to whining about how everything is "unfair," right? 🤣

Yeah, he always seems to get away with just a slap on the wrist, usually some vague "warning." 🙄 Maybe it's time they actually handed down a real penalty; he's definitely pushing his luck a bit too far lately. 😳 😁

American driver Vitali Petrov just crossed the finish line at the Chinese Grand Prix! And he didn't just finish; he actually scored points, taking 7th place after a gritty battle against the legendary Michael Schumacher.

I just love the Russian language 😍

Whenever I think about how inconsistent the FIA can be, my mind immediately goes back to that whole mess with Massa and the box 2008 incident, where they basically just slapped him with a tiny fine and called it a day. If they actually strip Hamilton of his position this time, it’s going to be an absolute disgrace.☕
Don't bother trying to tell me he got lucky with that last race draw; save that story for someone else who actually believes it. It was nothing more than a warning shot, which is exactly what happened, plain and simple. As for Barrichello and those other guys rambling about it in the media, it’s just the same old tired nonsense that refuses to wash out of F1 no matter how many years go by. 🤣🤣

And as for him getting away with it in the last race, tell that story to someone who cares. That was just a warning, nothing more, and that’s exactly what happened. Period. All this nonsense Barrichello and the rest of them are pushing in the media is just old news that F1 can't seem to wash off.🤣 🤣

A warning? Sure. More like he should have been penalized. But go ahead, keep whining about injustice.😁
They're coddling Hamilton more than anyone else in history. This season, they're treating him like royalty, protecting him like he's some precious prize Bernie is handing out just to keep everyone happy.

They're apologizing for those 2008 penalties. 🤣🤣 That's what you call a guilty conscience...😁

Once again, giving a few extra laps to the McLaren drivers. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Honestly, all this talk about penalties is pure nonsense. Especially that bit from TBFD claiming Alonso should’ve been disqualified for his start—as if we can't just give him a pass because he needs some breathing room after watching Red Bull's pathetic performance. 😁

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not exactly a Hamilton sympathizer, but slapping a time penalty on him for that tight squeeze in the pits would be a genuine injustice. If they want to hit him with a fine, fine. If they wanted to penalize him on the spot, they could have handed him a drive-through. But trying to retroactively punish him now is just absurd.

Last time, they let certain things slide, and maybe they shouldn't have. But they can't just manufacture a penalty now just to balance the books.

Look, even though I’m not exactly a Hamilton fanboy, slapping him with a time penalty over that tight pit lane situation would be a joke. If they want to hit McLaren with a fine, fine. If they wanted to give him a drive-through, sure. But trying to punish him ex-post? Total absurdity.

They let those other waves slide last time, and maybe they shouldn't have. But you can't just penalize him now just to "even things out."

They aren't going to penalize Lewis, theoretically or otherwise. Don't hold your breath.🤣

Maybe they can fine McLaren or Red Bull for releasing drivers unsafely.☕

There's nothing to penalize the drivers for. Honestly, if they don't penalize anyone for the Massa-Alonso pit situation, then punishing anyone in the Vettel-Hamilton clash would be pure stupidity.🙄

It's actually pretty dumb that we're even debating this. The only thing that might deserve a penalty was Hamilton shoving Webber off track or overtaking under the SC right before exiting, and even that's debatable. This pit stuff is completely irrelevant.☕

Alonso deserves a penalty 🙂 specifically by being forced to start behind Massa every single time for the rest of the season, and making sure Massa gets to pass him on track every single time. 😬

I’m not exactly a Hamilton fanboy either, but handing out time penalties for that tight pit lane squeeze would be a joke. If they want to hit him with a fine, fine. If they wanted to punish him on the spot, they could have slapped him with a drive-through. But trying to penalize him after the fact is just ridiculous.

They let those other overtakes slide last time, maybe they shouldn't have. But you can't just go back and penalize him now just to balance the scales.

And what about pushing Webber off the track? Or overtaking before the start line when the SC came in?

It’s all pretty debatable once you actually sit down and watch the replay☕....Honestly, it feels like they're just nitpicking at this point, looking for any tiny excuse to slap him with a penalty, like if he hadn't wiped his backside properly before the lights went out🤣🤣

I'd much rather grab a beer with you sometime so I can walk you through the whole thing properly🤣 🤣

Wait, you’ve got insider info too? 😁
Mostly, I think they've been letting drivers off easy lately because they realized they were being inconsistent. They clearly don't even know how to follow their own rulebook. But if they keep this up, they're just going to sink even deeper into the mess. Eventually, someone's going to demand a penalty based on a precedent that doesn't exist, and then everything will just fall apart. Total chaos.

Vettel commented on the contact with Hemic: "I was slightly ahead of him... so... I'm not really sure why he had to make contact with me, haha" 😁 I'm hoping I don't end up getting a penalty for that 😁
