man, I'm watching Alonso head back to the locker room right now and you can just see the fear written all over his face 🙏

I still don't really get why Massa gets so much hate....

Look, they brought in Alonso, but even if they’d just kept Massa as their lead driver, they wouldn't have missed the mark...

I mean, alright, fine, if he isn't the number one guy, I honestly don't see a better option out there than a solid second driver anyway...

We can talk about it all day, but guys like Kubica wouldn't settle for being just a second driver any more than Massa would, so I don't see the point in these kinds of transfers... or any of those big announcements 🤷

If they're dead set on Alonso and building a whole career around him, then whatever, they better find him a top-tier teammate, because with Massa in the other seat, Alonso is never winning a championship....

He'll just end up stealing points from him, and you'll have a situation just like Alonso and Lewis Hamilton at Mercedes.

I said it right before the first race—there's no way Alonso is going to walk away from this easily with Massa there!!! Massa isn't just gonna roll over!!!

Conclusion - having no bread with Alonso. 😁

I mean, we can debate this all day, but guys like Kubica wouldn't be satisfied just playing second fiddle, and neither would Massa, so I don't really see the point in these kinds of transfers... or any of these big announcements 🤷

If they truly want Alonso and plan to build his career around him, then they really need to find him a top-tier wingman, because alongside Massa, Alonso is never going to secure a championship....

He’ll just end up stealing points, and you'll end up with a situation similar to Alonso and Hamilton at Mercedes.

Massa is definitely fast, but he lacks that steady, persistent, and tactical edge that drivers like Alonso or Lewis possess. That creates a tough spot for the team; with an imperfect but highly competitive car, Massa struggles to clinch a title, while simultaneously making it difficult for his teammate to fight for one. Essentially, Massa isn't quite a championship contender, nor is he the ideal supporting player—he's a bit of a wild card...

So, I agree that the Alonso-Massa pairing feels like a misfire. Unless Ferrari becomes significantly faster than the rest of the field, neither of them is going to walk away with a trophy.

What future are we talking about here? Some distant one? Maybe in our next life? 😬

Should he just step aside every time he sees Fernando Alonso on track?

If Massa were truly that subpar, Alonso would be pulling away from him effortlessly. That isn't what we're seeing.

Thomas Morales13 said:Massa is definitely quick, but he just lacks that consistency, grit, and tactical intelligence you see in guys like Fernando Alonso or Lewis Hamilton. It’s a tough spot to be in; if the car isn't absolutely perfect, Massa probably won't clinch a title. Plus, he tends to throw wrenches in the works for his teammates, making their own championship runs a lot harder. Honestly, he’s not quite championship material, nor is he the ideal number two driver. He's kind of a wildcard...

Exactly... he can't quite manage being number one, yet he's too stubborn to settle for second. 😬 Maybe they should deal with him sooner rather than later so he doesn't end up getting in Lepa's way on the road to glory. 😍

Jason Campbell70 As for the passing move Fernando made...
Maybe it would be ideal to just look the other way every single time someone spots Fernando Alonso?

Yeah! Just get rid of it and move on!!

Another moral win for Lewis Hamilton, though this one felt much closer to an actual victory. It’ll all balance out in the end. He's driving just like his old man used to at his age.

Finally, with that old Nazi gone, the FIA actually started acting somewhat sane...🙏

And just what kind of ace up the sleeve does McLaren have now? 🙏🙏🙏

Jason Campbell70 said:So, what you're saying is it would be ideal if he just pulled out of the way every single time he saw Fernando Alonso?

If Massa were truly that far behind, Alonso would be slicing past him effortlessly. But that’s just not how it’s playing out on track.

remembering 2008 😉

Honestly, it's all pretty complicated when you look at the patterns. Back in 2006, Schumacher outperformed Massa with most of the fastest laps, yet Alonso ended up walking away with the title. Then in 2008, Kimi beat Massa with almost all the fastest laps, only for Lewis Hamilton to snatch the championship. Now, (2010), we might see Alonso outpace Massa in the exact same way, but there's a good chance a third driver will swoop in and take the trophy again. It feels like history is just looping back on itself...

May those who claimed Jenson Button's win in Australia would be a one-off be forever silenced by his sheer brilliance.

Come on, Gumbek, let's go out there and defend that title!👋

Gumbek might be a bit slow, but his tactical mind is sharp—he's definitely getting what he deserves.👍👍

Massa and Alonso's comments 😁
The passing move on Felipe? Look, if he wasn't my teammate, people probably wouldn't be making such a huge deal out of it—to me, it was just a standard move and it isn't going to mess with how we work together. We've got serious potential here, so we just need to hope for more clean races like the one we saw in Bahrain.

🤣 That's a pretty smooth way for Alonso to put it... basically like, "So what?" 😬

And then you've got Massa being all diplomatic and playing it cool, acting like absolutely nothing even happened. 😂🙏
Quote : as for The passing move Fernando made, I hit a patch of water coming out of the hairpin and lost a bit of grip—he managed to dive inside me and pull ahead right before the pit lane. I dropped a few spots because of it, since I had to sit around waiting for his pit stop to wrap up.

Such a shame. Guess no knives are being thrown today. 😁

Now this—this is interesting... ☕
If the old man actually gets a car built exactly to his liking, things might finally start looking up..😁

Massa didn't exactly shine today..
In my honest opinion, he just isn't on the same level as Fernando Alonso or Lewis Hamilton (out of the active drivers 😁), or even Jenson Button..
He’d need a whole lot of things to fall perfectly into place just to stand a chance at fighting for the top spot..

If the magnificent one can just grab a podium by the end of the season—maybe even a win—then 2011 belongs to us. image
