I honestly think they could’ve just closed the pits and thrown out some yellow flags on that tricky section. No need to call out the SC and screw over the leaders like that. Total mess.

I’m pretty sure Alguersuari absolutely wrecked his car on track before even hitting the pit lane. It looks like they were picking up debris right off the racing line, not just at the pit entry, which is probably why things went south. Besides, that pit entry in China is a complete mess—totally blind and chaotic. Just imagine those local track marshals trying to clear fragments while Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso are flying into the pits at full tilt. It's pure mayhem. And honestly, seeing drivers dive into the pits after they've officially closed isn't exactly a rare sight either, so this whole situation is far from harmless.

It’s honestly hard not to lose it when some idiot cuts someone off in the pit lane—especially when there was clearly enough room for another car to pass safely—but thank God nobody actually got hurt. As for the fans, it’s always McLaren through and through, so you can go ahead and hide under your bed now! 😁

So, Button is still suffering in silence, I see. I figured you’d be busy cheering for Michael Schumacher now that he’s back.😁

As for the Box, poor little Lewis Hamilton drove such a perfect race, and that pit lane move? Honestly, I have no idea what happened to Sebastian Vettel. 🤷
I’m genuinely baffled he pulled out in front of Lewis. Have some shame. He knows he needs to get out of the way when Lewis is on track. He should have just braked and let him pass.
Actually, we should probably penalize anyone who dares to be faster than Lewis. If they overtake him or even try to, we need a rule against that immediately. 😬

A true McLaren fan wouldn't dream of badmouthing the competition...🧐 😁

Well, except when they absolutely deserve it, obviously...☕ , and look, I hate to quote Sebastian Vettel directly, but he isn't being an idiot, he's just being

honest about who's acting like one... so there you have it.

Arthur Doyle70 got a penalty 😬🤣😂

I mean, seriously, is this supposed to be some kind of trophy or what? 😬

This season is a joke—it feels like Lewis Hamilton gets handed a penalty every single race. 🤣
What happens at the end of the year? Does he get a ruler slap from Bernie for every violation? Like, one strike per hit? 🤷

Why don't you just shoot an email over to Bernie and ask him yourself...👍

Mind you, if this kid of yours keeps playing it this way, he’s going to walk away empty-handed at the end of the season😬. I mean, what is even happening over at Red Bull? You've got a top-tier car and a great driver, yet they still manage to screw things up. It makes me wonder if they're actually messing around on purpose, just waiting to sweep the last seven races and leave everyone else in the dust. 🤷 😁

If you just hand everyone a water balloon, you'll see how quickly things go south... You toss out a red Ferrari-colored balloon and aim it at everyone else, like 😁 Felipe Massa, McLaren, or even Red Bull, and just watch the chaos unfold 🤣🤣

By the way, if you look at how Robert Kubica, Vitali Petrov, and Button were in the pits for a full minute faster than the rest of the field, it’s obvious that without those brilliant strategic calls, they would have been nowhere near the top ten; honestly, even Michael Schumacher wouldn't have been able to pull off a win against Nico Rosberg given that kind of time gap in the pits, or maybe he just would have ended up right on his tail anyway.😲

This whole thing was quite clearly a race defined by disastrous strategic blunders.

You're making more mistakes than Horner Safety🤣 😂

That safety car completely wiped out whatever advantage they had managed to scrape together...
Get your act together.😁[/url][/I]

Man, I really shouldn't have had that extra drink last night. I made it home just in time for the race, only to end up sleeping through about three-quarters of it. Honestly, I didn't even have a clue who took the win until two hours ago. 🤣🤣🤣
Luckily, you guys were relatively civil in the comments, so I don't have to slog through a mountain of nonsense to catch up, right? 😬

@stormybadger8/">@@stormybadger8...Look, obviously the team's garbage decision-making played a huge part in him sliding down to 15th...

...but, personally—and I think YOU feel the same way—Sebastian Vettel is easily the BEST driver on the grid right now (well, besides Schumi, obviously... at least in my book😁). Especially when it rains. He just had to show *something*—some grit, some overtakes, some actual aggression... you know, the kind of stuff we see from Lewis Hamilton or Fernando Alonso. Instead? Nothing. He just cruised around the track, which is frankly pathetic for a driver of his caliber.

Though, if you ask me, I’m being way harder on him than you are.

wiredtiger8 said:Schum... clearly something was off with the car... you could really see it when Petrov passed him (with the camera angle from Schumacher's cockpit) on the straight, looking like his Renault had at least 100 more horsepower.
Schum deserves a car built to his specs. I don't know if everyone here realizes this, but Schumi never liked cars with an unstable front end (which is exactly what the current Mercedes is). Word is the new car will have a different balance. It’ll be interesting to see how Rosberg handles that setup versus whether he prefers the current one. My take...letting Rosberg enjoy these days where he's outrunning Schumi while he can, because I doubt it'll last much longer.

Don't be ridiculous... he just needed to drive straight and he would've come out ahead of him... that move by Vettel into Hamilton is easily one of the dumbest things I've ever seen. And well... nothing from Vettel again this year, huh?

Keep dreaming, lol

It’s pretty obvious that the new FIA rule regarding the 25-meter gap before releasing a car from the box isn't being enforced at all this season.

From what I can see, they aren't even handing out warnings.

...but, in MY opinion—and I think YOU agree—Sebastian Vettel is currently the BEST driver on the grid (aside from Schumi, obviously... well, that's just my take😁). Especially in the rain, he's the best, and he just had to show *something*... you know, aggression, overtakes, attacks... the way Lewis Hamilton or Fernando Alonso does. Instead, he did nothing but circle the track. That’s just not enough for a driver of his caliber.

Though, I’m being way harder on him than you are.

Listen, Schumacher had it much easier than Hamilton. And honestly, the car isn't as fast or superior as people make it out to be. He's clearly great in qualifying, but he's got a massive handicap during the race. It's obvious that Ferrari, and especially McLaren, are way faster than Red Bull. Red Bull might pull a decent lap because they're better in the corners, but on the straights and when it comes to overtaking? They're pathetic.😢

I honestly think the team's development strategy was basically "just grab a win in a boring race." It's hard for anyone to catch them if they've got a 1-2 lead in a straight-up race, but they practically have zero chance of passing anyone else. The car just doesn't have it in it. You see it best with Mark Webber; he has the pace for a single lap, but on track, he can't pass a soul. He'll sit on someone's bumper, clearly faster, but he loses too much ground in the spots where he should be overtaking, and he's useless at following through in the corners.

Even if I agree that Vettel's performance this race was garbage and he could have done much better regardless of the team.😢

hollowhawk412 said:You make more mistakes than Horner. 🤣 😂

The safety car wiped out that entire advantage...
Get it together.😁

🙏 God bless you.🤣

Seriously though, what a great point.😁🤣

I honestly can't wrap my head around why these kids are constantly obsessing over Schumacher. I have no idea what they think they're gaining from it. The man has already made a fortune, so it's hard to understand why he’d choose to act this way and essentially cheapen his own legacy like this.
