haha why are you guys whining about Lewis Hamilton? if we're talking risky moves, Vettel was the one pushing him right into the crowd in the middle of the pit lane

McLaren 1-2

leading both the constructors' and the drivers' standings

btw where's that funny Horner who was being so hilarious after qualifying... bwahahaha

Once the old man finally gets a car that actually fits his driving style, things might actually get exciting...😁

What I'm wondering is if Rosberg is gonna stick with the car he's in right now while Schumi gets the new one, or if Rosberg is gonna have to jump into the new ride too...🤷

My guess? They’ll likely give Rosberg a chance to test out the new car, which would let him decide which one actually suits his driving style better..🤷
Though, honestly, I doubt they'd force him into the new one if it ends up being slower than what he's running right now..🤷

If the old man finally gets a car built exactly how he wants it, things might actually get fun..😁

😕Since when are they even allowed to swap out an entire car mid-season? 🤷

Aren't radical chassis changes strictly banned? 🤷

I remember all that drama regarding the F-duct and getting it installed—they were saying you couldn't touch the chassis, making the whole upgrade a massive headache.🤷

We're talking about Schumi here, not some random guy like Petrov... 😉

What a complete disaster of a race. Once again, we have to deal with yet another British driver taking the win. Honestly, it’s just exhausting. 🤮

That’s a brilliant argument, really captures the true spirit of Formula 1 🙂

Just a little something from my old man

http://www.planet-f1.com/news/18227/...-English-team-

A tiny snippet here

I had a nice battle with Lewis at some point, just a bit of flirting on the track. 😲 It’s funny how much love just flows through those Formula 1 circles. 🤣🤣

😲 What a kid, Hamilton 9.3 miles/h faster than Button😕

This gets even weirder 😕

http://www.fia.com/en-GB/mediacentre...ce-summary.pdf

Looks like Red Bull totally botched their first pit stop 🤷
I think Vettel actually had to wait just to get into the box; plus, they both had the longest stops of anyone during that first round 😕

The dumbest part? Alonso pitted five times (including that penalty lap), so he was in the pits once more than both Red Bulls combined, yet their total pit time is basically identical. They clearly completely screwed up that first stop 👎

Christian Horner, Team Principal: "It was a very chaotic race today. Both drivers elected to stop early on when the rain came. Unfortunately Mark hit the front jack and damaged his front wing, which ultimately cost both drivers a bit of time.

Horner's running away with the Beer 🙂 you're dead meat if I find you 🙂

btw, Kubica, Petrov and Button were in the pits a full minute faster than everyone else. Without that one lucky strategic call, they’d be way outside the top 10. Even Schumacher would have beaten Rosberg with a time gap like that, unless Rosberg was already glued to his bumper 😲

This was definitely a masterclass in terrible strategy.

Button was on a wet setup from the start.

A desperate move—but it paid off this time. Just like in Australia... though unlike the next ten years of that driver's career.

And man, what an absolute epic fail! 😂🤣

It’s actually pretty cool to know that Button—running that wet setup—totally smoked Hamilton on a dry track this past Saturday! 🤣

Without that brilliant strategic call, they would have been nowhere near the top ten. Honestly, even Schumacher, given that kind of pit stop advantage, would have finished ahead of Rosberg in this race—or maybe he would’ve just totally smoked him!😲

If you’d actually factored in that one minute of lead this team lost because of the safety car—man, maybe then people would actually take your math seriously...

Why call him desperate? When he actually gets a decent car under him, he proves he’s got the pace. Even looking ahead to the new season, the British media seemed hellbent on backing Hamilton, but Jason shut those claims down pretty effectively.

It’s entirely possible that Schumi actually cost Lewis the win today—considering he kept him tucked right behind him for about two and a half laps. At that stage, Hamilton was pulling about 2.3 seconds faster per lap... so, honestly, I don't see anything particularly spectacular about how Lewis made his move. ☕
In fact, the fact that someone could be stuck behind "the legend" for that long while driving such a vastly superior car is actually a bit concerning, if you ask me.. 😁

actually, being stuck behind the old man for that long in such a superior car should be pretty worrying..😁

Maybe Hamilton just straight-up lost his nerve at that exact moment, or maybe a sudden toothache from radiation leaking out of the old man's car hit him, or perhaps he developed sudden rheumatism in his leg because he keeps having to press that fuel flow sensor button. It’s possible Nicole called him on the radio right then, or maybe he just fell asleep from sheer boredom while circling behind the legend, or even that he was driving in second gear because he can't figure out the steering wheel commands. Maybe the ghost of Rubens appeared to haunt him, or he was stalking his prey like a cheetah before finally pouncing, or maybe he just lit up a cigarette and waited for the smoke to clear before overtaking. It's also possible McLaren called the FIA right that second to ask if Michael is even allowed to overtake and if there's a penalty for it, or maybe this move was his way of signaling who the new king of Formula 1 is, or maybe Mercedes dialed back the engine RPMs just so they wouldn't embarrass the old man, or maybe his stomach cramped up and pressed against the air intake system, slowing the whole car down....

So, really, anything is possible....😬

But from what I saw, it was probably just a damn smart move by Hamilton..
And it's funny how McLaren and Mercedes seem to be neck-and-neck in performance, but the second someone overtakes a Mercedes, suddenly McLaren is the fastest thing in the universe—they've got warp drive, the drivers have no bones, the car actually levitates off the track so they don't even wear out the tires, and so on and so forth...🤣🤣🤣🤣
