I don't really want to start a whole new thread... but maybe I could just ask one quick question?

Is there a way to organize files in a folder on Windows 7 exactly how I want them to be?

thanks!

Well, if you right-click while you're inside the folder....

and then you just pick ☕

Right when I boot up into Windows, I get hit with this error message right away:
There was a problem starting C:\windows\system32\sshnas.ddl

The specified module cannot be found
I just hit "OK" and the box disappears, but what am I actually supposed to do here? Which specific file is missing from my system, and is there a way to get it back where it belongs?

Looks like there's some kind of issue getting C:\windows\system32\sshnas.dll to start up. I guess it's just one of those glitches.

Looks like that specific module just won't show up. I guess it's acting up.
I just hit OK and everything I need disappears. What am I supposed to do here? Does anyone know which file is missing and how I can get it back?

Looks like you've got a Trojan. 🙂

I guess you can find those DLL files over at this link if you need them. Maybe it'll help fix whatever error you're seeing.

You might want to give this a read.

Check this out if you have a second: http://www.myantispyware.com/2009/12...jan-fakealert/

Maybe try running a scan with some antispyware software.

Hey everyone, quick question... does anyone know where I can grab a German language pack for Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit? It’s a bit of an emergency; everything is currently stuck in English.

just kidding

That's real nice of you, but you'd tell me they're reliable even if they were total junk... so... hmm

I just want to organize my music files exactly how I want them, instead of being stuck with whatever order they came in.

Just right-click and hit properties—then you should see the track number field somewhere in there, just change it

Hey everyone, I’m running into a bit of a headache trying to get online. I’ve got this Siemens Gigaset USB adapter 54 plugged in, and I’m following the instructions on the CD that came in the box. Everything seems to go fine—an icon even pops up right on my desktop—but then nothing happens. I click it, and it just sits there like it's ignoring me. It won't open or do anything at all. Does anyone have any bright ideas on how to get this thing talking to my main router, or maybe some other way to bridge the connection? Any advice would be awesome!

Back on Windows XP, I could just pop open a window for my laptop's built-in webcam right from the Control Panel and see myself instantly 😁. But now that I'm running Windows 7 (Ultimate x86), I can't find that specific preview window anywhere.
The drivers are definitely installed and the camera works perfectly fine during Skype calls, but where did they hide that setting in the Control Panel?

Wait, so there isn't even a decent "repair" option in Windows 10 like what we used to have back in the XP days? 😲 👎

Total fail.

What an absolute failure.

And who on earth told you that?! There is absolutely no failure occurring here.

If a standard System Restore isn't doing the trick, then you simply use this method;

Create A Repair Disc For Windows 10

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here is how you can create a repair disc for Windows 10. You’ll need a blank CD—not a DVD—and a machine that already has Windows 10 installed. Now, just head over to the Start Menu Search Box and type

Code:
system repair disc
And there you have it! The utility will launch immediately.
The repair disc provides you with the command prompt along with a full suite of system tools, and of course, it is fully bootable!

And voilà—it really just requires a modicum of effort!

God help me when I'm surrounded by geniuses like this. 🙏

The system won't boot at all—it's completely dead 🥳

You just pop in the DVD from last week and you'll see all those options for a System Restore and other little extras—pretty much the same deal as the "startup repair tool"

It is simply impossible. Not at all. Reinstalling the OS. 🥳
I’ve lost my Start Menu Search Box!

Thank God! You really should have put that Recovery disk together much sooner! 🙄 You’re actually much more tolerable when you aren't constantly airing your grievances! Honestly, it's just endless criticism directed at the system—it doesn't even matter what the issue is, as long as it's negative and accompanied by a mountain of thumbs-down icons. 🙄

darkviper7 said:You pop in that recovery disc from last week, and suddenly you're staring down a whole menu of options—System Restore, various repair utilities, and all those other little tools, much like the standard startup repair tool you'd expect.

And if she actually had a DVD, the real question is what kind of bootleg version they would have shoved onto it!
And it left us without a backup?! Unbelievable. 🙄

Look, let’s just keep things light and positive for once. It's New Year's Eve, after all—who wants to deal with software glitches or technical repairs right now? Let's leave all that headache for the New Year. 🤣

Look, I get what you're saying... but...

the startup repair tool just tells me "did not find any problem"🙄

And there isn't even an option to repair the installation. It's just gone. All I have is the option to recover the system from some previously made image—which, obviously, I never actually made. My only choice is to just wipe the whole system and reinstall everything from scratch, which means losing absolutely everything I had installed. 🙂

I mean, it's not even a huge deal for me personally since I won't lose any data—I run a multiboot setup (Linux, Windows 10, and two versions of Windows XP) so I've already moved everything to a safe spot. But it's just unbelievable to me that I can't perform a repair that actually saves my stuff, like you could back in the XP days... it's just pointless. 👎

Left her without a backup too?! 🙄

Whatever, let's just stay positive. This whole holiday season is basically **** when it comes to software and repairs. Let's just save that headache for the New Summer 🤣

Where were you when I was actually learning how to run a proper backup? 😉

But seriously, it feels wrong to expect them to just toss out a brilliant system recovery option—something that worked perfectly back in Windows XP—just like that.

I don't know, darling? It seems your experience this time around wasn't exactly life-changing, was it? 😉

It’s a real Damage if we hadn't crossed paths sooner! 😍

Happy New Summer to you too!

It’s gotta be. I mean, they wouldn't just kick it out like that.
Besides, why do you even need that many different operating systems? Since the startup repair tool says it didn't find any issues, maybe one of those other OSs is actually causing the trouble?
