ironpuma62 said:Hey there,

In cell F1, just enter the specific date you're looking for;
Then, in G1, put in the shift number you need;
Finally, in H1, paste this formula: =SUMPRODUCT(($A1:$A10000=$F$1)*($B1:$B10000=$G$1)* $C1:$C10000)

Now, if your spreadsheet ends up being larger than 10,000 rows—which happens more often than I'd like to admit—you'll need to adjust that number accordingly.

Fine, but just so everyone else following this thread isn't lost, here’s a quick way to handle one or two of those conditions:

- If you're looking at shift and date, you can just use a formula to sum up the defective product quantities (had to add a space in B2: B5 because of an emoji I used)
=SUMPRODUCT(--(B2: B5=E1);--(A2:A5=E2);C2:C5)

- If the condition is just the date, then use a formula to sum the defective product quantities
=SUMPRODUCT((A2:A5=E10)*C2:C5)

Alright, please, for the love of everything, does anyone actually know how to translate a PowerPoint from English into an American English version?

And let’s be clear: I am not just going to copy and paste the entire thing into Google Translate—if I were going to do that, I might as well just do the work myself.
thanks, you would literally save me several sleepless nights!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏:

Hey everyone, I could really use some help here. Does anyone know where I can track down the English Language pack for Office 2000?
I've been searching through Google, but I'm coming up empty-handed.

Can someone please walk me through how to build a table in Google Docs that actually has dropdown menus and checkboxes built right in?

Here’s what I’m aiming for

You're being super vague. What are you actually trying to translate? Some text inside a PowerPoint or just looking for some American-language instructions for PowerPoint?

I’m looking to get this text translated, but ideally, I want the end result to look like a finished presentation right out of the gate.

I stumbled upon some documentation suggesting you can actually go through slides one by one within Office 2010, but since I’m stuck using the 2007 version—which doesn't even support American English properly for my needs—I have no idea if that feature exists in 2010. It sounds like a massive hassle, though honestly, even a clunky solution would be a step up for me.

I also came across http://www.soget.com/en/translation/...oft-PowerPoint. I haven't looked into the pricing yet, but if it works, the amount of time I'd save would be absolutely massive.

I don't think I was being clear enough. What I'm actually looking for is some kind of plugin that would let me turn my Microsoft Word 2000 into an American English version without having to reinstall the whole thing from scratch.
It’s just like how most software has that option under Tools/Language where you can simply toggle which language the interface uses, right?

I suspect the tool you're referring to is some kind of automated translation software.

If you actually intend to handle the translation yourself—though I’m not quite sure why that’s such an issue—I don't see why you wouldn't just go to View -> Normal and use the Outline Pane to type everything out. 😕

It’s basically what most software offers—you know, under something like Tools or Language settings where you can just toggle which language the interface uses.

Well, I suspect that isn't quite how Microsoft Office works—it's more likely that you'd need to track down an installation disc for the entire suite (though the Serial Key should stay the same). At least, that's how it worked back with the 2003 version, I believe.

Just like how a lot of programs have that option under tools/language where you can just pick which language the interface uses.

From what I know, that feature has been around since Office 2007. You basically buy separate language packs—I think they're about $10—and then you get the menus, the help files, and the spell checker updated for that specific language. For those really old versions, I honestly doubt it exists. Was there even an American version of Office 2000 back then? 😕

Could someone please explain the best way to set up two tables in Excel when they don't share the same column widths?
Here is the situation: I have two separate tables on the same worksheet, and I need to adjust the row heights or column widths independently. The problem is, whenever I try to change the width of a single column, it forces that change across the entire sheet, affecting both tables simultaneously. It makes it impossible to format them individually.🙂

Look, you basically had two choices—you could grab the localized version or just go with the English Office + MLP that came on its own special CD. And just so we're clear, you couldn't get that MLP separately; it was strictly bundled with the English version of Office.

Row height changes... what's the deal? post width I can swap them out manually one by one.
You got a Macro for this?
Can you just upload that file somewhere for download? Use fake data, obviously.

Hello there. I’ve run into a bit of a technical snag—I am currently running Microsoft Office 2007 in English. For my proofreading work, I really need the software to flag spelling and grammar errors in American English texts, but it simply isn't doing the job. I noticed that under the language settings, it only shows English, Spanish, and French as options.

So, here is my question: do I need to go through the hassle of a full reinstallation of the American version of Microsoft Office 2007, or is there perhaps a specific language pack for American English available for download somewhere? If such an add-on exists, could someone point me toward where I might find it?

Does anyone know how to actually sort entries alphabetically within a table in Word?

First, you just highlight the specific column you want sorted. Then, head over to Format, click on Bullets and Numbering, select Numbered, pick the ABC style, and hit OK. That should do it.

How do you sort entries alphabetically in a Word table?

Just select the table (the stuff you want to sort), look at the top (middle) under Table Tools (yellow), hit Layout, then there's a Sort button over on the right. You can figure out the rest from there😁

Now, I need it to underline spelling and grammar mistakes in my American texts for proofreading, but it isn't doing that. I noticed under that little checkmark + ABC icon, it only shows English, Spanish, and French.

So, do I have to reinstall Microsoft Office 2007 with American settings, or is there some kind of American language add-on I can just download somewhere? If so, where?

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/la...101828857.aspx

Basically, you either need that language pack or you need to switch the whole Office setup to American.
