stormybadger8 said:Honestly, the wildest scenario would be this:

Red Bull Renault - Faster and better than Renault 😬
Brawn GP Mercedes - Faster and better than McLaren Mercedes🤣
Williams Toyota - Faster and better than Toyota😁

And if we really want to go down the rabbit hole and make it happen 😈

Scuderia Toro Rosso Ferrari - Faster and better than Ferrari🤣

Then we’ve officially seen everything; the spectacle would be complete, and there wouldn't be anything left to wish for😍

Berni and Max, if you're reading this, please, grant us this one wish🙂, because if they can't settle it out on the track, maybe they can just hammer it out over a green table😬

Yeah, we're being troublemakers here😠 but don't you dare bring Ferrari into this😁

Berni and Max, if you're reading this, please grant us this one wish🙂, if it doesn't happen on the track, settle it over the zelen stol 😬

mistybear87 said:there’s all this chatter, or rather, just pure speculation on the forums, claiming BGP is running an illegal car—basically underweight just to bait sponsors, this and that...

what I’m getting at is... when is this Miami ?????? finally happening? I just want to see who actually delivers when the pressure is on.☕

all that testing would be a waste of time, by the way. if I recall correctly, they were the first ones out there, probably Honda, starting development on the '09 car early...
I don't think RB would take a risk like that for nothing; people in their position know exactly what it takes to secure a win...

here's that race simulation Button put together back in the day...

Honestly, the whole thing smells fishy to me. It looks like one big calculated play. Brawn built an absolute beast of a car, and once he realized he had a winner on his hands, he probably started leaning on the higher-ups at Honda. Those clueless managers, terrified of losing their jobs during a supposed "crisis," likely jumped at the chance to cut ties and save their own skins by killing the Formula 1 project entirely. Brawn knew damn well that finding a billionaire to buy out a struggling team was a long shot, so he played the waiting game until the very last second. In the end, he snatched up his own team for peanuts, leaving those same Honda executives absolutely livid.☕

The whole birth of Brawn GP feels like a total setup to me.☕

Brawn built an absolute rocket of a car, and once he realized just how fast it was, he probably started whispering in the ears of the higher-ups at Honda, and those panicked managers—ever eager to save their own skins during a "crisis"—decided the easiest way to protect their jobs was to just pull the plug on the whole Formula 1 project. Brawn knew damn well there was almost zero chance anyone would show up with a suitcase full of cash to buy out the team, so he played the waiting game until the eleventh hour, and then, for a relatively small price, he walked away with his own team. Now, those same Honda executives are probably sitting around seething with rage because they missed out.☕

I can't shake the feeling that the whole birth of Brawn GP was nothing more than a masterfully executed scheme.☕

It makes sense... the old fox Brawn knew exactly what he was doing, it was all part of one big, carefully orchestrated game...☕
But man, I have to take my hat off to them for that raw speed... seriously, respect 🙏🙏 and I'll add that they had an incredibly, incredibly solid engine too.😁😉

stormybadger8 said:It would be pretty wild to see the look on the faces of the higher-ups at Mercedes if that former Honda crew actually starts consistently outrunning McLaren with their own engine under the hood.😬

But honestly, why should they care? They'll probably just end up fighting for the championship again and maybe make things interesting... I mean, Mercedes could just buy Brawn GP, slap on some silver and red paint, give the nose a new name, say hello to their drivers—who they already have anyway—and call it a day.🤣🤣

Just some future predictions from Arthur Doyle70 (figured I’d throw my two cents in too).😉

Comparing the Red Bull and STR cars

To be honest, I’m struggling to see any meaningful difference here other than the paint job.

In high resolution, too.

How can you say that? One has a larger bull logo, and on the other, the Red Bull branding is printed in reverse.😁

darkmarlin16 said:it's just a total Red Bull clone, they just repainted it, though that color on the rear wing is a bit off, I gotta say, for the first time ever, the Red Bull actually looks even better than the Toro Rosso.

☕
but what's the deal with everyone acting like Red Bull is some kind of emergency or something, it's weird.🙄

So, what's the deal with this whole Red Bull thing being the exact opposite? Is it just an urgent issue at this point?🙄

At least you're trying to fix things with Photoshop—it’s called "flip canvas horizontally," you know.☕

yeah, but what's even the point of doing that besides the fact that it looks totally ridiculous🙄
and why on earth would they put that on an ER sign🙄

Just take a look at some Formula 1 news sites, then come back and check out my photos again, and maybe give it some actual thought. ☕

Which sites are we even talking about here?☕ 🤷And what exactly am I supposed to be chewing on? Give me the details so I can actually think about it.🤷

I'm curious which specific news sites or digital publications you have in mind.☕🤷 I wonder... what exactly should I be turning my thoughts over right now? It’s one of those moments where you realize there are so many directions to take, yet no clear path forward. Is it worth dwelling on the big, sweeping life questions, or should I just focus on the immediate tasks at hand? Sometimes the most profound reflections come from the smallest uncertainties, don't you think?🤷

Whenever you find yourself needing to sketch something out, just take a quick look at the lettering on those erasers—I actually included a link to a high-resolution photo in my original post if you need to see the details more clearly.

So, what's the deal with the tire markings on the cars? Like, how much does the rubber actually have to do with those labels printed on the chassis?🤷

I think I'll just step back and let someone else explain this one; I’d rather not resort to swearing just for the sake of it. ☕

Here’s some actual news for once😲

http://www.planet-f1.com/story/0,189...045908,00.html

The people who only care about the money are clearly freaking out right now☕

Some "lunatic" like me, who actually put money down on a JPMorgan Chase constructors' title or a driver's championship before this happened, could be looking at a massive payday

It would be a pretty wild way to end the season—a double Red BullRB😬

Fernando Alonso really turned up the heat under the Brawn crew today, clocking in the fastest lap of the session.
I can't help but wonder about the specific driving styles we saw out there—what kind of pace are we actually looking at for tomorrow or the day after? ☕
