Raymond Ortiz89 said:but look, they're down 0.3 on fuel, so there's really no point in stressing over it. I don't think that lap actually meant much to him.

I think you're missing the point. This isn't the Olympics; winning matters.
The data is right there in front of us, so now it’s just a matter of how you read it.
To me, the fact that it's still the best time is more important than that 0.3 fuel difference.
Sure, fuel is just one variable. We have no clue what else was going on.

Give credit where it's due, Renault clearly has some serious pace. I was kidding myself—fuel load doesn't even seem to matter; the fact remains that Renault can put together an incredible qualifying lap. But let’s be real: Brawn GP is consistently dropping blistering laps. They’re basically hovering around 1.19 the whole time, dipping into the 1.18s too, which tells me they're going to be a nightmare in the race. They can stay at the front or right up there, and their reliability is actually insane. Every single test session, they're clocking the most laps without a single hiccup. It looks like Brawn accidentally stumbled upon the perfect setup and built a phenomenal car.☕

Bottom line? I think the CEOs and Managers over at Honda are going to commit collective Harakiri after Australia. 😬

But let's not lose sight of the bigger picture: Brawn GP is consistently dropping blistering lap times, basically hovering around the 1.19 mark and spending a good chunk of their time down in the 1.18s. That tells me they’re going to be absolutely lethal in the race because they can either stay right at the front or right there in the thick of it. Plus, their reliability is just mind-blowing; they’re clocking up the most laps at every single testing session without running into any major gremlins. It looks like Brawn somehow stumbled upon—or maybe masterminded—the perfect formula and ended up with a phenomenal car.☕

All things considered, I wouldn't be surprised if the CEOs and Managers over at Honda decide to commit collective Harakiri once they wrap things up in Australia. 😬

Brawn is still the old fox in the game, isn't he?

Yeah, and honestly? I highly doubt he just stumbled onto this by accident.

As for those average stint times, nobody actually knows what Renault—or anyone else out there—was testing. For all we know, they were swapping parts in and out all day. Maybe that's why Fernando Alonso was running such short stints. It’s more likely BGP found a sweet spot and spent the rest of the time dialing in the reliability and fine-tuning the setup.

Or maybe they're just 😬

Bottom line, though? Seeing Renault pull off a time that good, even if it's just for one single lap, is huge. That's plenty to work with when qualifying rolls around.

Well, Nico Rosberg Williams FW31 just clocked in at 1:18:071, which is easily the fastest we've seen over the last few days 🙏
I have to admit, I’m feeling a little bit of regret right now—maybe I should have put down more than just five bucks 😬

I'm honestly starting to regret not putting down more than a five-spot on this one 😬

Yeah... they basically just ran a simulation of qualifying ☕

And let's be honest, that's just a qualifying simulation; it can't be considered true race pace
especially when you consider there are still cars out there struggling to break the 1:19 barrier (like the McLaren 😂😂😂)

Just to update you... it's 01:17.844... yeah, it’s a simulation, but man, is it a fast one. ☕

McLaren, give it a rest... everyone is getting faster by the second, so honestly, I'd be more worried about whether Williams ends up being total garbage again; if they lose Rosberg—and he already gave them an ultimatum—you're going to lose way more than five bucks at the local sportsbook. 🤣🤣

McLaren, man, don't even get me started... everyone is just getting faster by the day. Honestly, if I were you, I'd be more worried about whether Williams can actually stay competitive. If they end up losing Rosberg—and let's face it, he already gave them an ultimatum—you're going to be looking at a much bigger loss than five bucks at your local sportsbook. 🤣🤣

I’m starting to get this nagging feeling that BrawnGP might just blow everyone else out of the water during those first few races while the rest of the field tries to find their footing.

It’s always the same old story, isn't it? We won't actually see where the real power lies until we're three or four races deep, but for now, everything just looks like a total mess😂

I suppose Ferrari will find a way to make up for all of this eventually. ☕

Whether it ends up being a legal battle or just settled on the track, you can tell they're pretty much open to either outcome.

Look, when that absolute clown charges forward like there isn't a tomorrow, please, spare me the talk about Ferrari... We'll just have to wait and see how their performance holds up this year now that they don't have those rulebooks to cheat their way through by spying on everyone else. That was their only real trick. Anyway, I'm logging off now. Peace out.

Is it just me, or is it getting obvious that these guys are suffering from a chronic lack of, well... common sense?😬 🤣🤣🤣

At this point in the season, even the FIA won't be able to save them.☕

We’ll see how much they actually achieve this season once they run out of technical manuals to scavenge. It seems their only way to stay competitive is by playing spy, and frankly, I've seen enough. I think I'll sign off for now. Best regards.

bad boy🙂
