Timothy Lee11 said:Take a closer look at who enters the chicane first—it's Kimi
And since there isn't anyone on Kimi's shoulder, he's the one picking the line.
If this were a track like Monaco, Hamilton would've just cut the corner or hit the wall
to shave off time right behind Kimi... just plain stupid.
...but the kid is sitting there smirking at the press conference like he just won the lottery... he's pretty slimy.

Sam Roberts said:SO MUCH.

Yeah, Ligav is slimy too, but what does that have to do with anything?🤷

hanging Lewis Hamilton because of his skin color while treating Max like a villain

grow up and move past that racist mindset already

Give me a break. If Lewis Hamilton was on Kimi's left side 😉and he passed him on the right 😉,then either he was behind him the whole time, or he's a ghost passing straight through the car.🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂

Grow up—seriously—and drop this racist nonsense.

Oh, please—how about you grow up and try being objective for once in your life!

you guys are talking about some racist conspiracy

so you're actually saying Lewis Hamilton would've had a better line through that turn if he'd just stayed on the left side???

ever actually driven a car before?

Look at the whole situation objectively for a second. Even if we're saying Lewis Hamilton should have been penalized, this specific penalty is just straight-up absurd.

He's at fault, but the penalty... that's debatable

maybe if he was someone else

The only one getting a pass here is him! Look—even if Kimi Räikkönen had stayed in the race, seeing someone end up in the wall like that makes no sense. It’s all rigged in favor of Mass—or rather, Ferrari!

Of course they appealed—it's a no-brainer. Honestly, if you were in their shoes, wouldn't you have done the exact same thing?

Look, unless you’re planning on taking a shotgun to Mosley’s backside 😁, there isn't much else to say. But here is what the text actually says
"If you take a look at the FIA sporting regulations, you'll see that the federation's decision wasn't based on an actual rule violation, but rather on a steward's judgment—which, in this specific instance, lacks any legal basis."

Kimi Raikkonen said:Raikkonen: It was win or bust for me.

Kimi Raikkonen made it clear that taking second place at the US Grand Prix wasn't even an option. It was either victory or nothing, he claims.

To the absolute heartbreak of Ferrari fans, this is what actually happened: Finac spun out at the bus stop chicane on the penultimate lap.

"I was ready to win or lose, but unfortunately, I went off," Raikkonen said after the race. "I just wanted to win. I got carried away in that fast left-hander. I tried to get back on track and control the car, but I spun out," he added.

"I needed the points, which is why it was win or bust, but I went off. Sadly... I didn't want to settle for second and lose points. We'll see what we can do moving forward."🤣🤣🤣

Raikkonen and Lewis Hamilton traded paint a few times while fighting for position, and one specific incident ended up before the stewards.

It involves Hamilton cutting the chicane after contact with Raikkonen. Even though he missed the corner, by gaining an unfair advantage through unsportsmanlike maneuvering, Hamilton kept his momentum and overtook Raikkonen on the very next turn.
Raikkonen himself declined to comment on the incident.

"There are rules about cutting chicanes and gaining an advantage. The FIA is reviewing it now, so I have nothing to say."

With a massive 23-point gap now sitting between him and Hamilton in the standings, Raikkonen announced his only goal for the rest of the season is to take wins.
"It’s not up to me whether Massa wins or not. I’ll just do my best and we'll see where things stand. I'm going to try to win, and we'll see about the rest."

As for "the rest," Ferrari management will likely be dealing with it next week. Despite intense pressure from big-name sponsors demanding Raikkonen stay at the top, rumors about installing Massa as the lead driver at Scuderia Ferrari are starting to gain some serious traction.

Anyway, let's see what they actually do next.😂😂😂

Kimi might have gotten a little ahead of himself there.🤣🤣🤣

Of course they filed an appeal; I mean, honestly, what else would you do if you were in their shoes?

What’s the point of even trying, really? They're just exhausting every option left, because let's be real—there's no way the FIA is going to rule in favor of anyone else when they're up against Ferrari. Just a bunch of crooks.

Even lawyers for killers file appeals against verdicts

Hopefully, all these shady dealings will finally come to an end...

And that collision between Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa? Doesn't even touch this...

Even the lawyers who represent killers find ways to file appeals against their sentences.

I really hope we finally see an end to all these dirty little games they play, both now and in the future.

Honestly, that collision between Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa just doesn't even come close to what we're seeing here.

But the FIA isn't putting any skin in the game. 🤣🤣🤣

Of course they filed an appeal! I mean, come on, would you have just let it slide?

Honestly, they’d have had a better shot if they’d appealed to Ferrari and Montezemolo instead.☕

stormybadger8 said:I honestly don't get it, you could probably kill me before I change my mind. Is there actually a rule saying you have to let him pass if you cut the track? Like, did Lewis Hamilton have to let Kimi through? Does the rulebook even specify if he has to give way after one meter, 100 meters, or like, a whole kilometer?☕

The penalty is just straight-up stupid.☕

So dumb... what a massive loophole in the rules!! ☕
