Been gone for a bit, so here's an update... how things look after taking a few months off from hitting the gym—though I've mostly been watching what I eat. Mostly. 😁
Left pic is from last summer at 170lbs, right side is how I look now at 183lbs. That winter cut definitely did its job😁 Goal is to bulk up a bit more, then get shredded.
Well, here I am again, checking in following my latest weigh-in. 😁D Right now, I’m sitting at roughly 227 lbs... At this stage, the mission is clear: I need to strip away every last bit of fat that's managed to settle around my midsection, legs, and lower back...🙂
I’m more than open to any critiques or commentary you all might have—don't hold back. 👍
Here is the latest update 😁 I’ve been hitting the gym so hard—my back and legs are absolutely shredded—that I could probably carry the entire weight of this group on my shoulders if I had to 🙂
Gotta brag for a second—after grinding at CrossFit for a few months, I finally have an actual ass (and some decent legs to match) 😍 I know for most people "glutes" isn't even in their vocabulary, but considering how flat I used to be, this is a massive upgrade. 🙂
Here is my update now that I’ve officially wrapped up a four-month bulk. 🙂 My goals leading up to summer: Drive body fat toward zero while pushing muscle mass toward infinity. Honestly, if I can just avoid losing what I've built during the cut, I’ll consider it a win. 😁> Oh, and keeping with tradition, I’ve left a tub of whey in its usual spot—the only difference is I switched my supplier to Optimum Nutrition. 😁
Hey 😁 So, I finally sorted out my diet 🙂 and ended up gaining about 4 or 5 pounds 🙂—hopefully it's all muscle 🙂 . By May, I’m aiming to put on another 7 or 8 pounds before I start cutting down for definition 🙂. Original post Current status: Abs: (I can't quite catch the muscles in a photo unless I pose a certain way 😁)
So, I started out at roughly 230 lbs—wish I had a photo to prove it, but honestly, who cares? Then I hit that 210-220 range, and right now, I’m sitting at about 187 lbs. My goal? I'm looking to drop another 7ish pounds over the next few months if everything goes according to plan.
It’s me again 😁, I know I’m becoming a regular here 😁 So, about my arms... I worked them out today and decided to take some better photos since they looked pretty scrawny in my previous posts... Yeah, I used some oil so you can actually see 😁🤣..and honestly, they look a bit intense, maybe even slightly scary in these shots😲🤣..too much tanning and lotion 🙂...By the way, my trainer finally explained how to properly flex my muscles 🤣
Here is another update on my progress—specifically regarding one area of my body, much like the arm shots I posted earlier. 🙂 I realize I'm looking at things from a different angle here, but my lower abs have always been a stubborn struggle; even though I’m generally quite lean, that’s where everything seemed to settle. After nearly five months of consistent training and sticking to a solid nutrition plan, this is where things stand:
It is still quite a long way from my ultimate goal, but for now, I am genuinely pleased. 🙂Does anyone have suggestions on how I might ramp up the intensity?
Well, since we're all obsessing over abs and getting those core muscles defined, I suppose it’s only fitting that I present my own progress and the sheer amount of effort I've poured into this... 😉
I was 5'8" and 145 lbs when I started this journey. This is just the result of one month of sticking to a clean diet and doing 25-minute sessions with Shaun T. I haven't even started running yet. Personally, I’m pretty happy with the progress, so I'll keep pushing forward... I used to be a competitive gymnast, though I haven't done anything active in about two or three years.
Back again... I’m honestly not sure if there's any noticeable change since my last update, but I wanted to snap some photos to officially close out this phase. I've hit 122 lbs (+7.7 lbs), and I'm calling it quits on the bulk... I've gotten a little too relaxed with it, and now I can't even squeeze into my favorite jeans🤣. Plus, I started taking advantage of the surplus by eating basically everything in sight🙂, so I've definitely been picking up some extra fat along the way. It feels like the more I eat, the hungrier I get🤷. Since summer is right around the corner, I'm switching gears toward cutting. For now, I'll just focus on cleaning up my diet, and then I'll add cardio in May... I'm going to keep up with my strength training at the same pace, hoping I can hold onto the muscle I've built🙂. Once fall rolls around, I plan to start over properly—going on a much more serious bulk before finally heading into a cut .
Here is a quick little preview of my current physique. Progress is steady enough; I should be pretty happy with where I'm at by the time summer rolls around. The last pose didn't quite land right—I overdid it with the flex on my right arm, which ended up pulling my pec out of whack. Anyway, just gotta push through until summer hits.🙂
Decided to share my own progress after nearly four months of working out at home. 🙂 I was born with pretty wide, strong shoulders and upper arms for a woman, so I've got a good head start there. I’ve dropped about 10-11 pounds and lost about 3 inches off my waist. I'm skipping the midsection photo for now because I'm dealing with PMS and currently eating everything in sight, but you can already see some muscle definition peeking through. My main goal is to lean out even more, though I'll admit my diet hasn't been perfect. I'll post the rest of the photos once I've found some motivation. 😁
