Two-month update: dropped from 178 down to 178... wait, 178 to 176 lbs. I'll post pics of my legs once I deal with these stubborn calves 😁

Quick update: I’m up five pounds. Legs, back, and arms have definitely filled out. Since I’ve been hitting CrossFit pretty hard, most of my sessions are heavy on the upper body, and honestly? I’m starting to feel a little too wide. 😁 So, from here on out, I’m shifting the focus toward glutes and abs.

Well, here we go. One month in, following two months of just 25 minutes of daily exercise paired with a solid meal plan... I’m honestly thrilled. Down 7 or 8 pounds, 2 inches off my waist, about 1.5 from my chest, and over an inch off my hips. Time to push even harder.

One shot from before and after the two-month mark.

tihonsee, here’s my back like I promised. In the second shot (relaxed), you can actually see the fat I need to burn off. 🙈
Adding the midsection too. It doesn't look as bad as it really is because I was sucking it in and hadn't eaten much. 😁
Any feedback is welcome.

Standing at 5'2" and weighing about 105 lbs

I need to put on some muscle and get some definition. Honestly, my main goal is just feeling solid and strong—looking good is just a nice side effect.
Should I stick with the P90 workouts or start saving up for a gym membership?

p.s. Sorry about the crappy photos and the dirty mirror

Almost there, folks 😁
I’ve managed to drop from about 225 down to 211 lbs over roughly 40 days—given I'm standing at 6'5"...My current plan is to bulk back up by another 5 or 6 lbs once I hit my target...🙂

Well, I’m finally joining the club 🙂 I’ve just hit my third week of Focus, though I’ve been mixing in some P90X as well... I'm really hoping you guys can start to see some actual progress emerging here 🙂

Hey 😁
I finally hit 56kg and decided to start my cutting phase about two weeks ago. My routine was pretty intense: strength training four times a week, a low-carb diet, and hitting a brisk walk every single morning on an empty stomach... but I couldn't keep it up for long🙂...my hips have started acting up 🙂, so I've had to take a break from cardio and leg workouts for now😢...I managed to drop 2.5 kg in those two weeks. Here’s where things stand right now:

Since Carol Ortiz9 posted her photos on Tinkili, I guess I found the courage to share mine too 😬
Strictly for educational purposes 😳

So...
The first one is... well, what can I say?
It’s not even my worst phase—there was an even uglier stage a few months after these. Luckily, I don't have any photos from back then because I avoided the camera like the plague.
I wonder why 😬

These two are from a couple of days ago when I was posing in front of the mirror, trying to catch a glimpse of some muscle definition. Unfortunately, I just can't seem to capture it, even though those specific muscles—the ones I actually worked hardest for—are what I'm most proud of.

I still have work to do and certain "goals" in mind; I think some areas aren't quite there yet, some are pretty much bottom-tier (like my lower abs), but this is mainly so Carol Ortiz9 sees that you can actually get a flat stomach even if you're well past 35 and hovering around middle age. It's not six-pack territory, but it's relatively flat—and all that talk about "I'm doing everything right but nothing changes" or "I'm just getting old"—is complete nonsense.

imageimageimage
5'9"/I think I'm around 135-138 lbs somewhere.

God, if anyone who actually knows me sees this, they'll probably think I've completely lost my mind 😁

Finally getting around to contributing something visual 🙂 to this awesome community where we all pour our sweat and tears together! Sadly, I don't have any before photos, but man, the progress has been insane. Back on February 10th, I started Insanity, but after that, I totally let myself go—just a soft gut and zero muscle definition. Once I crushed Insanity, I tightened up my core and dived straight into P90X3. I’m halfway through now, and honestly, I’m loving the program (I’ve actually rambled about how great P90X3 is in another thread).

Since I didn't snap any pics at the start, and since I'm keeping this momentum going full throttle, consider this my before shot! We'll see the real progression in a couple of months, right?
By the way, I've dropped about 4 or 5 pounds so far, currently sitting at 205 lbs and 6'3" tall. I've been active for years, though nothing has ever felt this organized or dialed in compared to these last two months. I've been riding bikes since I was 16, and now I'm 33 years old. I also did some kickboxing over the last couple of years (until October, when I hit a massive slump and basically became a couch potato from November through early February this year). But hey, that muscle memory definitely kicked in, and I started seeing results way faster than I expected!

I bet there are plenty of tall guys or even giants in here who know exactly how brutal it is to pack on quality mass that actually shows. From day one, I've been going all out—totally locked in, disciplined, and I really feel like that's the secret sauce.

Sorry for the massive wall of text! I just felt like it was important to share the context rather than just dumping photos. This is my first time taking progress shots like this, so I might have missed the best angle or my posture might be wonky, blah blah... if anyone has tips on anything, please throw them my way! If I can motivate even one person here, I'll be happy.

So, a buddy of mine snapped this for me yesterday.
It’s just a preliminary progress shot—I'm sitting at about 200 lbs right now, and honestly, I’m pretty stoked with how quickly the weight is dropping off.
The posing is an absolute disaster, obviously, but then again, I didn't exactly put much effort into it. I just grabbed a quick photo to see if I can actually get into decent shape by the end of the summer.

Here’s one who looks pretty gaunt—still under 175 lbs, but her strength numbers are actually improving.

Here is my update before I dive back into the grind to pack on some serious muscle 😁
My scale just clocked me at 216 lbs—though honestly, who’s actually going to believe that? 🤷
