I wasn't sculpted like those other guys; my season for bulk has been wide open for quite some time now...

Here’s one from the "mass gainers" 😁
My goal is to hit 240 lbs by month four, then focus on leaning out before summer hits 🙂

29 years old, 6'2", 253 lbs. Goal: absolute max strength (no supplements, just pure grit). I could probably drop 10-15 lbs, but I’m not really feeling the need to cut right now.

It’s only been two months since I joined, but things are moving along nicely! 😛
As for my routine, I actually stepped away from lifting weights at the gym (for a few different reasons), cut back my running to just once or twice a week because of some annoying shin splints and IT band issues, and have been sticking with Focus T25 instead. 😁
I've also been cleaning up my diet a little bit, just keeping it simple.
I am honestly thrilled with the results—especially seeing more definition and tone—though I wouldn't mind dropping those last few pounds we were all talking about.
The plan is to wrap up Focus soon, tackle a month of the Unique Move program, dive into a glute-focused routine, and hopefully get back to running more often.
We'll see how it goes!

Early 30s, 5'9", 160 lbs - August photo (click the image for a larger view)

Current weight is 172 lbs—I picked up about four pounds over the holidays. 🙂

image image image

I train at home using just a pull-up bar and my Perfect Pushup.
I started out with basic movements (example, example2), though I am currently capable of more advanced exercises.
During the summer, I head to the local park🙂, and I use cycling for leg training.
The first two photos show a three-month period where I cut out bread and reduced other carbs; I gained 6 lbs, which is significant since I usually struggle to put on weight.
I don't use any supplements, such as protein powders or vitamins.
If anyone is interested in my diet, I am happy to share the details in the comments.

silentpanther32 said:So, the goal here is basically to train up and finally get some muscle back. This is where I'm at right now, though I'm hoping the photos look a bit better in a few months:

Weak back

Glutes need work

Arms

Abs

Anyway.... nothing much, just hit the gym a little over the last two months, so I figured I'd just show myself in this PDF 😬. My abs have gotten a bit soft, I guess, and I'll show the rest in the coming days... or maybe again in a month or so 😁.

Still plenty of work to do. I'm currently in a bulking phase, so I'm not stressing the waistline too much right now.
I definitely want to improve... EVERYTHING. 😁

Well, here I am again, resurfacing after a bit of an absence.
I've uploaded a few shots—mostly focusing on the things I’m currently missing. Specifically, I’ve put some extra emphasis on the detail in my back and legs.
I’m struggling a bit with symmetry at the moment, though I fully intend to have that sorted out by summer.
To get straight to the point: my last reading was 185/92.
Please excuse the quality of these photos; I seem to have absolutely no knack for timing or catching the right light. 🙂
Every single photo looks cold to me; that old-school pump just isn't there anymore.

My posture was relaxed enough, but I ended up hunching over like an absolute idiot for no reason at all.

Back exercises in a light flex.

Back issues again. The level of detail is lacking; I’m going to need more substance regarding the "thickness and depth."

4. Chicken legs—the specific muscle group I’ve recently started hitting with some serious intensity.

One side looks fine, but my chest is looking pretty uneven lately, even though they’ve always been relatively symmetrical to begin with.
I somehow tilted the camera at a ridiculous angle, so the photo looks a bit off.
image

My apologies for the spamming. I am fully aware of my shortcomings, and I am working quite diligently to address them.
I’ve decided to pivot over to a 5x5 powerlifting program for a while. The idea is to build up some serious raw strength and finally smash through these current plateaus before I eventually transition back to my standard hypertrophy training.
The objective remains clear: by the time summer rolls around, I intend to hit the 90-pound mark on the scale, pack on some serious mass in my back, build up my legs, and—if all goes according to plan—leave a slightly more impressive impression on everyone I encounter.
I couldn't care less about my midsection right now, but I suppose I’ll have to address it before summer rolls around. Honestly, I just can't stand the thought of it.
Go ahead—tear my work apart with your comments and critiques. Honestly, I could really use some advice from someone with actual experience who can give me an objective perspective on this.
Much appreciated.

Just thought I’d drop this chat photo here too, since I managed to dig up an old shot from back in 2011. It was during that phase when I was mostly just running and putting together some before/after shots. 😁
In the first photo, I was at 128 lbs, and in the second, I'm at 145 lbs. 😁
The lighting and overall quality aren't exactly great, but I guess this will do.

So, a few people were asking about how things are looking up here. 😁 Honestly, it’s a real struggle trying to get a decent shot with this phone—hard to capture enough of the view. 🙂

Just an old-school, pseudo-scientific jab in the style of Mr. Fulir regarding Yumin's impressive physique 😁

I'm not quite sure how to embed the video directly here so you can watch it right in the thread 🤷

Here’s a shot of me from behind... it’s kind of a bummer I can't get my whole self in the frame, but honestly, my room is so tiny you can barely even turn around without hitting a wall! 😬 My main focus right now is finishing up the decor in my back corner and—of course—working on toning up my glutes. As you can probably tell from the view, my lower body is definitely my strongest suit... ☕

Before (left) and after training. Roughly 2 years of bodyweight exercises—pull-ups, push-ups, and various other variations... not exactly a consistent routine, though...

By the time summer hits, I’m aiming to show off some seriously shredded chest, arms, legs, glutes, and just a much more ripped physique overall.😁

I stumbled upon an old photo on my computer from when I first started working out, and I felt compelled to snap a picture of where I stand today right away. 😁 It all started with some casual, low-effort workouts at home, but eventually, I truly fell into the fitness lifestyle and committed to a serious routine at Gold's Gym just a few months ago—though I did have one significant break. Before that, I had been going to the gym for about a year, but with long gaps here and there due to various life interruptions, so I was mostly just finding my rhythm. Real, tangible results are only just starting to follow.
Goal — maximum mass and deep expertise 😉

P.S. A huge shoutout to Yumi! 🙂

So, this is me: http://zaslike.com/files/zg6og4ljjcy0qi00j6bi.jpg

My current physique is the direct result of these last "few serious months"; prior to this, any progress was barely noticeable.

edit:
Here is one from the front. My midsection used to look much leaner, but as I focus on eating as much as possible to fuel my growth, I simply can't help this bit of extra padding. 😁

This time, I’m not looking for advice—just wanted to share a little win. 😁 Up until now, my main Goal was just building a solid foundation and hitting those muscle mass numbers. But you can always level up, right? Now, I’m shifting focus toward definition, getting shredded, and pushing for even more strength! 😍

I kept the front view the same since there wasn't much to change there. 🙂

I couldn't edit my previous post, so I'm dropping this here instead. If you look at the photo I posted before summer, you can still see that extra softness on the outside and core areas—those are long gone now. 🙂
