If you set the price $100 at a reasonable level, it’ll sell. Those "economists" on Craigslist asking for absurd amounts for their old GPUs aren't actually going to move any hardware.
No matter which graphics card you pick, if you pair it with something like an i5 3570k, none of them will be utilized to their full potential compared to that i5. As crimsonstag84 mentioned, you might get away with a GTX 660 or an HD 7850 at most—though you could probably find something even better than those—but realistically, if an HD 7850 hits a bottleneck, an HD 7870 is going to hit it too...

Can someone give me an estimate? I'm looking to sell this PC and want to know what kind of realistic price I can ask for...

i7-2600K 3.40 GHz
ASRock Z68 PRO3 motherboard
16 GB RAM
Radeon HD6970 2GB
1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200/32MB SATA III HDD
CoolerMaster HAF922 case
EVGA GX650W power supply
Samsung DVD RW
LG Blu-ray RW

Just the tower itself, no peripherals included. Reason for selling? I don't need a rig like this anymore; I'm basically just using it to browse the web now...

Oh, and I almost forgot—it still has about 11 months of warranty left this year.

Hey there

Can anyone give me a rough idea what this General Electric laptop is worth? I'm not sure about the specific model, but I have the specs...

Processor: i5 3320m 2.60 GHz
RAM: 4GB
Video card: Geforce GT 640M 2GB (DirectX 11)
Hard drive: 120 GB
THX sound
Display: Full HD 1920x1080 (60 Hz), looks like a 16-inch screen
Built-in Wi-Fi
Windows 7 32

Ports: 2x USB 3.0, HDMI, VGA, USB 2.0, eSATA...

Got it as a gift, so it's basically brand new.

I haven't been in the market for too long, but I'd probably say somewhere between $150 and $180. Anyone else got an opinion?

What’s a realistic price tag for a used HP Probook 4710 S (T6570, 17", 4GB RAM, 250GB HDD, no OS) from back in 2009?

If everything looks good with it, then we're looking at about $400.

Does anyone have an opinion on that x58 extreme? I don't want to look like an idiot at the local swap meet. :)

CPU: AMD Athlon ii x2 250 box, AM3 socket, 3.0GHz, 2MB Cache, Dual Core
Motherboard: ASROCK N68c-s UCC featuring GeForce 7025/nForce 630a chipset, supports DDR2/DDR3, includes audio, LAN, SATA, RAID, PCIe, mATX, compatible with AM2/AM3 sockets
RAM: 4GB Corsair DDR3 running at 1600MHz (2x2GB kit)
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce 210, PCIe interface, supports 3.0 shaders
Hard Drive: 160GB, 7200rpm spinning disk
Monitor: 19" LG (L1953S), standard aspect ratio (not widescreen), roughly 6ms response time—though I'd have to double-check that specific spec
Includes cooler and power supply, plus a set of black GENIUS 2.1 SW-2.1 360 speakers that are BRAND NEW and already paid for$63, along with a wired Trust mouse and a wireless Trust keyboard.

What kind of price range should I be looking at for this setup?

Well, if the case and power supply are bundled with the components, maybe we're looking at $267, otherwise it's probably closer to $233.

As for peripherals, I'd say another ~$133...

I was wondering, what do you guys think an HP ProBook 4540 with an i5 processor and a 500 GB drive would be worth if it’s about a year old?

Motherboard: Intel Core i5 processor
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.6GHz
RAM: 6GB DDR2 667MHz
Hard Drive: 1x 160GB SATA
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 512mb
PSU: 450W w Corsair Case
Case: Not exactly sure since I can't find the box and searching for the manual is too much work right now, bought it at Best Buy $100, features a single 120mm blue LED fan in a black Mid-tower case

What do you guys think this is worth?
