Used 500 GB drives are easy sells at $150 or $200 if they still carry a warranty. You could get $$33$ for a 250 GB drive, and then there's those older 320 GB ones.
This one looks like some outdated model that’s probably painfully slow. He should list it for $80, though even $33$ would be a win if someone bites—but I wouldn't hold my breath for 🙂

Since you don't have a warranty, it’s going to be a tough sell. Most people would probably rather just pick up a GTX 750 Ti that comes with a guarantee and better power efficiency. That said, someone looking to put together a CrossFire setup might still find some value in yours!

I figured it was used, sure—but since it was bought back in January, I assumed it’d still be under warranty. It just felt a little weird seeing someone still stocking a 6970 in a shop like Best Buy these days 🤔 Anyway, I wouldn't go more than $600–$650 MAX.

Maybe $300, you really need to aim for a price point lower than what people are asking for used 7870s (like the R9 270). I saw an HD 6970 paired with an Accelero Extreme on a tech forum for about $900-$317

Hey there! I was wondering if I could get your take on this—do you think it’s better to value this as a complete build or should we break it down component by component?

CPU: Intel Pentium Core 2 Duo 6300 @ 1.86 GHz
Motherboard: Intel dq963fx or the DG965RY model
RAM: 3 GB total (one 1GB Patriot DDR2 800MHz stick and one 2GB Buffalo DDR2 800MHz stick)
HDD: 250GB Seagate Barracuda

What about the power supply? Is it just integrated graphics? And what kind of case are we looking at here?
