Larry Ortiz5 said:What about the power supply? Is it integrated graphics? And what kind of case are we looking at?

It's a Codegen 400W ATX 2.03 (P4) model 300xx power supply,

and the graphics are just integrated,

though honestly—the case itself isn't much to look at; he probably wouldn't even take it for free! 😁

Greetings.
I'm curious—what’s the realistic ceiling for what I could get for this setup? It’s never seen an overclock; everything has run strictly at factory settings, and honestly, it’s still in great shape—regularly dusted and well-maintained.

Walmart

I’d honestly drop $200 just to get my hands on your entire setup..

Look, you all seem to be experts here—you actually know what things are worth—and judging by my browsing on Best Buy, I see setups like this all the time $1667 😁

But could someone just give me a breakdown of the value per component? I need a realistic estimate for each individual part. I'm not looking to sell the rig—it's far too precious to me, and frankly, I overpaid for it years ago—I just want to know the current market value for these used parts.
By the way, only the power supply is under warranty; everything else is long gone. 😁

In total, we're looking at roughly 3,000, which is still a long way off from 5,000.

Agreed. Honestly, for $1667, you could build a seriously solid NEW rig today—one that would leave my current setup in the dust. 🙂

It was a solid machine—I had mine for three years and could run just about any game on max settings without breaking a sweat. Honestly, you could probably sell this rig, and if you've got the cash, toss in another 2000-$1000 and you'd be looking at a total rocket ship configuration. Then you're all set. That’s basically how it goes every single time, right? 🙂

I was just looking into this, and I think you could put together something like $1833:

An Intel Core i5-4440 build with an MSI GTX 770 TF, 8GB of RAM, and a Seagate Barracuda 1 TB—assuming you don't skimp too much on the other parts.

An Intel Core i5-4440 (Haswell) paired with an MSI GTX 770 TF, 8GB of RAM, and a 1TB HDD—assuming you don't skimp too much on the rest of the parts.

Come on, give me the full breakdown of what you're thinking! You've piqued my interest—let's aim for a price point around $1833 😁
Is there a decent combo using an AMD card, or am I better off sticking with NVIDIA?

People already told me this ancient rig is worthless, but I figured I'd check here one more time before deciding what to do with it. Maybe I can scrape together a few bucks selling it, or just give it away to someone who can use the parts... if nothing else, maybe the case.
So, if anyone actually thinks there's some value left in this, let me know what you think.

Main Processor
AMD Athlon XP
Barton 0.13um technology
Memory
2.00GB dual-channel DDR @ 167MHz (2.5-3-3-7) (added 3 years ago)
Motherboard
nVidia-nForce (Socket A) 56 °C
Graphics
Dell UltraSharp (1280x1024@60Hz)
256MB ATI Radeon 9600 Series (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM) (C.P. Technology)
ATI Radeon 9600 Series Secondary (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM) (C.P. Technology)
CrossFireX is disabled
Storage
149GB Western Digital WDC WD1600AAJB-00J3A0 ATA Device (ATA) 37 °C (this was added 3 years ago)
111GB Seagate Barracuda ATA Device (ATA) 35 °C
Optical Drives
HL-DT-ST DVD-RAM GH22NP20 ATA Device
DVD RW DVR-MCC ATA Device

I've also got a Thermaltake Volcano 12 cooler, a Channel Well 400w power supply, and two Thermaltake 80mm fans. At least, that's what the receipt says.
The case is a GCM Trinity—pretty heavy, solid metal. It looks like this, just without the side vent.

Everything is about 9 years old. It was running fine until a couple days ago when I switched to my new one. It still works... it's just pretty dusty, and it has a habit of shutting down on its own.

If you were to clean it out and then get it running properly, you might actually be able to get some $133 for that case.

I'm selling a gaming PC I picked up back on February 1st, 2014, at Links in Chicago.

Every single component still carries its warranty—details are listed below.
It’s barely been used; I originally bought this specifically for gaming, which runs perfectly fine. Honestly, though, it's just too much overkill to have sitting around my house just for checking the occasional website—I simply don't have the time for gaming anymore. Other than that, it works flawlessly!

Components:

- AMD FX X6 6350 box processor, s. AM3+, 3.9GHz, 14MB cache, Six Core (3-year warranty)

- Cooler - COOLERMASTER Hyper TX3 EVO, 1155/1156/1150/1366/FM1/AM3+/AM3/AM2 (2-year warranty)

- Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3 motherboard, AMD 990x/SB950, DDR3, audio, SATA, G-LAN, PCI-E, CrossFireX, SLI, USB 3.0, FW, ATX, s. AM3 / AM3+ (3-year warranty)

- 1000.0 GB Western Digital Caviar Black hard drive, WD1003FZEX, SATA3, 64MB cache, 7200rpm, desktop (5-year warranty)

- XFX AMD RADEON R9 270x graphics card, 2GB DDR5, dual DVI, HDMI, 2x miniDP (2-year warranty)

- 550W power supply, CORSAIR VS series VS550 CP-9020050-EU, ATX, 120mm fan (2-3 year warranty)

- LC POWER Gaming 975B Air Wing case, MIDI, black, USB 3.0, hot-swap tray, no PSU (2-year warranty)

- 2 units - PC-12800 memory, 4 GB, G.SKILL Ripjaws series, F3-12800CL9S-4GBRL, DDR3 1600MHz (5-year warranty)

- SAMSUNG SH-S224DB DVD±RW, 24x, black, SATA, Dual layer, DVD-RAM, bulk (1-year warranty)

Regarding the price, what you see on Craigslist is $1733, but it is NOT fixed!!

If anyone has any advice or offers, feel free to speak up—I'm always open to suggestions. Thanks a lot.🙂

Man, you're gonna crash this whole forum with all these posts about your PC setup 😁

There's a hardware marketplace section down there specifically for sales, so let's not spam the main boards
