Thanks so much to everyone for all the great advice! Honestly, looking at everything, I think the smartest move is to tackle the graphics card first, and then I can figure out the rest of the build from there. 😉

If your games are already running on max settings, you're just throwing money down the drain.

Maybe 400 or 500? 🙂

It really ought to be sitting right around $500.

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of what this setup is worth: two Intel Pentium processors (2.00GHz), 3.0 GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX. My main question is whether I'd be able to run FIFA or NBA on it, as those are really the only games I care about. I realize this isn't anything special, but it would definitely be a step up from what I'm currently using...

CPU max $50, RAM $50, GPU is unknown $33-$50. It should run somehow (though I'm not sure about specific settings, probably won't hit low)

Thanks for the reply 😁

What is a realistic market value for this card? It is used, obviously—and while I am not entirely certain of its exact age, I would assume it has been out for at least a year or more.

100-$50

A couple of years ago, I think it went for just over $300...

A brand new one went for just north of $300 about a year or two ago...

Thanks. I am asking because I noticed they might still be available at Walmart, specifically around $123

I am looking for an honest appraisal of this build:

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660
CPU: Intel Core i5-2320
RAM: 16 GB DDR3
Motherboard: ASUS P8Z68-V GEN3
Hard Drives: Western Digital Black 1.5 TB (64 MB cache)
Western Digital Green 500 GB (16 MB cache)
Monitor: Dell U2312HM
Keyboard: Logitech K300
Mouse: Logitech G400
Case: HAF XM Mid Tower
PSU: Corsair CX600

If I can manage to get a decent amount for this setup, my intention is to pivot toward a laptop...
A reliable internet connection remains my top priority... 😕

What's a fair price for a build like this:

Intel Core i7-2600K (Never overclocked)
GTX 560
CORSAIR H80
AS ROCK 970 EXTREME 3
ZALMAN 450W
SHARKOON T28 VALUE GREEN EDITION
500GB HDD
6GB DDR3

Everything is basically brand new—some parts barely even touched. Does anyone know if there are any warranties left from Best Buy??

Just head over to http://www.amazon.com/ , hunt down the lowest price, and you can probably shave off maybe 20-30%.
