It seems the moderator on that forum still hasn't approved my request to join the Blue Lions group... I've been sitting here waiting for confirmation for five days now—nothing yet.😢

Honestly, even this might be running low given how much you're moving around

You definitely need to make sure you have some whey protein and glucose on hand

Let me break it down for you like this

Say, 250g of oats made with low-fat milk and some apple slices—that's roughly 1,000 calories right there
Then, 100g of rice paired with 150g of chicken
Some tuna in brine
For lunch, just eat whatever is normally available at home—just try to steer clear of anything overly greasy
After your workout, grab 30g of whey and about 60g of glucose
Maybe five hard-boiled eggs
200g of cooked white meat along with some veggies
And 250g of low-fat cottage cheese

Even with all that, it still feels a bit light considering all that cardio you're doing—you really ought to pick up the intensity in the weight room

That's because you actually have to shoot an email over to the admin first!
That’s just how things work on that site.

Just hit him up and let him know you signed up but your account hasn't been activated yet.

I forgot to mention—I’ve been having whey protein right after my gym sessions... I definitely plan on upping the intensity at the gym, though I'm hoping I don't pack on too much bulk...🙂 ...thanks for the info...

I was just wondering if anyone here has some actual experience with protein supplements—like, do you think your muscles might kind of deflate or, I don't know, maybe you'll just end up gaining weight if you stop training after being on them for a while?

Yeah, they will, and you'll probably lose more than just muscle mass.☕
Cut the nonsense and go grab a middle school biology textbook from the local library; just flip through a few pages and educate yourself.

Alright, look, I have one question—actually, more like a dozen questions, so I need some serious help here. I’m 14 years old, standing 6'3", and weighing about 207 pounds. I’m starting at the gym and my goal is strictly muscle mass. What do you all recommend? I need an answer fast!!

I’d suggest looking into these:

Once you've had a chance to digest all that, drop a line back here:

Roughly how long is a 1kg tub of whey going to last me if I'm hitting the gym three times a week and keeping my diet pretty dialed in?

Also, should I be taking whey every single day, or is it better to just stick to the days I actually work out?

What’s everyone’s take on MuscleTech proteins? I’ve heard some people swear by them, while others seem to think they aren't all that great.

thanks

Just do the math yourself, man.🤦
30g x 3 days a week x 4 weeks = 360g per month.
If you can afford it, just mix it into your breakfast with some oats or rice, or whatever you usually eat...

I’m looking to take some protein to put on mass—specifically those extra pounds of non-functional weight. Which proteins should I be using? How many times a day am I supposed to dose this stuff? And how do I actually get jacked and build muscle? Someone please give me an answer here.

So, what’s the plan here—are you actually hitting the gym, or just planning on eating protein powder for breakfast, lunch, and dinner?

But what about the nutrition side of things?
I'm not talking about grabbing two quick sandwiches or just settling for whatever someone cooked for dinner back home.

I’m thinking about what constitutes the most correct way to eat—honestly, it should be tuna, lean meats, low-fat cheese, minimal sugar and sodas, and as much fruit as possible.

What’s the best way to mix this powder—with water or milk?

FitnessForum.com said:An ideal post-workout meal should consist of:

* 30 - 50g of MuscleTech protein powder—the exact amount depends entirely on your muscle mass.
* 75 - 120g of maltodextrin or glucose powder.
* 2 - 3dl of water—definitely not milk!.
* 2L of water over the following 2 hours

it’s just a reflection of how much time you spent clicking through random links 🙄
you could probably just dump in more water since that concoction is bound to be syrupy enough as it is

Where on earth am I supposed to track down some glucose, and what kind of ridiculous price tag am I looking at? (And frankly, is this stuff even a necessity or just more nonsense?)

restlesscanyon77 said:If you’re looking to pick up some glucose, you can find it pretty much anywhere from a local CVS to a specialized supplement shop, though the cost really depends on whether you're buying simple dextrose powder in bulk or just grabbing a pack of glucose tablets at a drugstore. As for whether it's actually necessary, it’s a bit like asking if you need a spare tire; it depends entirely on how you're driving. If you're dealing with specific blood sugar issues or hitting extreme physical limits during a workout, it might be a useful tool in your kit, but for the average person just going about their day, it's often just extra noise. It isn't a magic bullet, and for most, getting your energy from standard food sources is more than enough.

DM, by the pound. $3.75 The box says glucose, and it’s that distinct shade of blue—the one they use when they want you to believe there's some kind of "healthy" advantage baked into the label. If you're looking to actually recover, you really ought to knock back about 60 grams right after your workout. It's basic math, really.
