I have also placed an order for a side panel featuring a 25cm fan—much like this one http://www.bigbruin.com/2006/ttside_1—along with an additional HDD cage equipped with its own fan, and then I should be pretty much set

Come on, post a few more photos so we can actually see what we're dealing with. I need to see the entire case; this current view is far too superficial.

Look, I've uploaded as many photos as the system will let me—if this isn't enough, I can always toss a few more 😁

Looks sharp, but isn't that 10-inch fan going to smack right into the heatsink?!?! I have a feeling you won't be able to close the side panel, especially since a 10-inch fan is at least 5 cm deep enough to cause issues.

Joseph Carter9 said:It’s not even available at HG. I had to grab mine from VE-MIL, and after placing the order, I was stuck waiting for 12 days!!!! And it costs $100 (though it isn't nearly as expensive as it looks so elegant👍).

By the way, regarding that bracket you have... what socket does that mount actually fit? Specifically, how wide is the part you’re screwing onto the passive heatsink on the processor (I assume you catch my drift).... maybe you could sell me one or just tell me where I can find it. Just so you know, I'm selling a Corsair star Force A2268, 90 mm.

It really isn't that pricey... and honestly, I wasn't planning on selling this bracket, but I'll hit you up if I'm heading over to VE-MIL; if I find one like yours, I might just give this one to you for free..... 😁
It didn't quite fit my 939 setup, so I ended up mounting it to the case instead, and then I used the original case mount on the passive heatsink for my graphics card (it's an NVIDIA GeForce equivalent)
Here are the dimensions:
80x80x70mm case cooler
80x80x25mm CPU cooler

Later 👍

This layout looks great, though maybe a bit cluttered for such a massive case, but I'm not complaining. How tall is this thing anyway? If I'm seeing this right, you've got the PSU mounted vertically—you know, where it should be at the bottom, but instead it's on the side so the cooler is visible 👍 pretty slick!!!

The case looks great to me. What's the build inside?

Hey, does anyone know where I can pick up a UV neon light here in the States?

I picked up my first two at some local shop that's gone out of business now, and honestly, I just stumbled upon them by total accident... I was looking for a single 30 cm tube, but all I ended up with were two 10 cm ones, and they're just way too small for what I need.

Well, if you take a quick look at Newegg, they actually have two 30cm options available for $17.....I suggest doing a bit more digging on your own.....

Well, have you even considered the logistics of ordering online? Honestly, the shipping fee is only about $10, which isn't exactly a fortune. Alternatively, you could simply walk into a Best Buy, tell them you want to pick up an order from Newegg via their courier service, hand them maybe 10-$5.00 for the favor, and call it a day. That is precisely how I managed to secure my hard drive!

I honestly can't wrap my head around how things work this way here in the States... when I look at other countries, the engagement levels are through the roof!

Why is it that Americans just don't seem as interested?

Based on my own estimation, the case stands about 31 inches tall—quite a beast. I recently picked up a side panel fitted with a 12-inch fan (you can check out the photo below), and the build inside consists of a Core 2 Duo e6420 2.3 clocked up to 3.2ghz, some OCZ Platinum XTC 2GB 800MHz RAM, an OCZ 600W power supply, an NVIDIA GeForce equivalent Leadtek WinFast 8800GTS with 640MB, a 320GB Seagate HDD, and a Big Typhoon VX cooler.

There’s roughly an inch of clearance between that side fan and the Big Typhoon, and honestly, it made a massive difference—temperatures dropped by a whopping 7 degrees.

I’m really not a fan of this vent; it totally blocks the view of the internals, and I bet it’s going to be loud as hell. It would be much better if they used a transparent panel or something similar instead.

Don't you agree?

Also, it would look a lot cleaner if that empty space near the ROM slots wasn't so visible... honestly, that side panel just doesn't fit the aesthetic of this specific case model at all.

I’m honestly at a complete loss regarding this cable management—I have absolutely no clue where to tuck everything away. It’s a mess. The power supply cables, in particular, are just getting in everyone's way—it's like trying to organize a junk drawer after a hurricane. On a side note, the fan isn't particularly loud; it's sitting at about 600rpm, so you can barely even hear it if you're actually listening for it.
