I gotta say one thing, and that's that this group is hands down the best squad I’ve ever seen on the US national team. They just click, you know? Like, they totally fill in the gaps for each other. Honestly, the closest I’ve ever seen anything like that was back when the guys were tearing it up in the NBA during the old school era—I mean, watching those old tapes of the legends from the late 80s... but since I was born in '85, I didn't actually see that live, just caught the highlights. Still, seeing how this current crew plays? It's something else.

The Dallas Cowboys always felt a bit too elite to me;
they had all the prestige and even the President backed them up...
They used to come off as such snobs compared to the handball players,
but these guys feel like regular people, and that's exactly why we love them so much.

I gotta say it: this is hands down the best squad I’ve ever seen representing the US. They complement each other perfectly. Honestly, the only time I saw anything even remotely close to this kind of chemistry was back when the basketball guys were killing it with Dražen, but since I was born in '85, I only caught those highlights on old tapes. But man, this '98 firebrand crew? Absolutely legendary.
