Let's not get too carried away with being subtle...
The term "jam" pretty much covers everything mentioned... 🙂

Exactly. I don't care what they call them—those weird chocolate-vanilla-who-knows-what hybrids? They aren't real donuts. Not in my book. ☕
The donuts at Publix are absolutely genius. 😍 😍

How did we jump from talking about shoes straight back to food? I can't scroll through two pages without someone bringing up something to eat—and usually, it’s stuff I don't even touch, so I can't even join the conversation 😬
Those grocery store donuts are just greasy messes. Honestly, the only decent ones are those homemade Princess donuts with vanilla cream 🙂
I guess I'm a Berliner at heart, too 😍

😍 😍 🙏
Still, those donuts are filled with jam. So be it.
If you’re one of those hyper-local patriots, you’re honestly getting a bit radical, aren't you? You can't even bring yourself to say Chicago has mediocre donuts without immediately pivoting to talk about how great the burgers are in Miami. As if they're the best in the country or something. 🙂
Someone who only eats donuts doesn't get a say in my taste or anything else for that matter. 🙂
By the way, if you want actual good fast food, you have to hit that spot on the waterfront in a small town near the coast for their cheeseburgers. You wait about fifteen minutes while watching them grill the patty right in front of you. And man, you're hungry, and the thing is huge. 😲

I made the switch because we were all failing miserably with those shoes. ☕
loafers 🙄
🙂 🙂

The ones at Walmart aren't greasy at all—that’s actually why they’re the only ones I can scarf down more than one of at a time. 😁

Look, I’ll be the first to admit I have a thing for women's shoes 😬, but honestly, food topics just hit closer to home for me. I can actually contribute something useful there, especially since I've lived through enough culinary disasters to tell the tale... 😉

I get you. Personally, I’ve always had a weakness for women's sneakers. 😁
... uh, just finished a beer after dinner and now I'm feeling a bit nostalgic for more... 🙂 ... here is my top 5 list of budget beers for a punk like me:
5. Budweiser
4. Anheuser-Busch
3. A local brew from a small town in rural America (usually total garbage, but this guy somehow makes it work)
2. Miller High Life
1. Pabst Blue Ribbon

loafers 🙄
🙂 🙂
She only ever mentioned loafers in a negative light, 😬
so here is my top 7 women's shoes:
1) Black Adidas Gazelles with white stripes (I’ll never forgive myself for not grabbing two pairs immediately since mine are already falling apart 😢)
2) Grey Puma velcro sneakers
3) Pink Pumas 😍
4) Gravis baby blue ones 😍
5) Bershka—you know, that Greek brand where you can grab sneakers for like $30 🙏
5) Any kind of low-cut shoe with a rounded toe, closed front, and a little strap—basically looks like something for a kid
6) Dr. Martens with twenty eyelets and a side zipper
7) Basic ballet flats, just the simplest ones with a little bow 😍

The #1 thing I absolutely despise about staying at a hotel:
1. You go to wash your hands, you turn on the faucet, and—as if by some twisted act of malice—the water sprays everywhere, soaking your pants and leaving a massive stain that makes it look like you actually had an accident in public... 🙂 😠

1. You turn on the sink to wash your hands, and because the faucet is poorly positioned, it splashes all over your pants... leaving a stain that makes it look like you had an accident. 🙂 😠

ABSOLUTELY INFURIATING. We have those exact same useless, broken faucets back in our small town in rural America. It's pathetic... 😠

Samuel Murphy6 said:If you're some kind of local patriot, you're being radical. You can't say Washington, D.C. has bad donuts without bringing up Miami beef sliders in the same breath. They're the best in Pauline. Yeah, right.
First off, donuts and beef sliders never belong in the same sentence.
Second, I know someone's gonna crucify me for this, but meat is the most pointless food ever and I'm not really a slider fan. It's not like I won't eat them once in a while, but if you give me the choice between sliders and fried zucchini, I'm picking the zucchini every time.
Third, based on what I just said, it should be obvious why I miss good donuts in Washington, D.C., but I don't care about sliders in Miami.
And fourth, since you're being so stubborn, the sliders at Pauline's sandwich shop aren't even good—they just had a good reputation back in the day because they were the only option.
There, laid out in numbers so it looks like a legit 😁

Same. That trash isn't happening for me.🥳
Top 5 industrial smells that'll probably kill me, but I love them anyway:
1. Wall paint
2. Sharpies
3. White-out
4. Glue 😬—every kind, including CarbonFix :junkie:
5. Bubblegum bubbles, specifically the ones that don't pop immediately

The donuts at Mate's are way better than the ones at Prerade 🙂 and honestly, I don't think I've ever actually had a decent donut in Washington, D.C. 🤔
Man, you reminded me—I need to call my mom and ask her to bring me some cheese bread tomorrow 👋
My absolute favorite shoes-
1. Those green and blue Adidas sneakers
2. My first pair of cowboy boots
3. Red Minnie Mouse flats
4. Rose-accented ballet flats
5. Converse Chuck Taylors
6. My second pair of cowboy boots
7. Those gorgeous Jennifer Lopez heels I never wear because they have a 4-inch heel😢
