Saxophone said:Maybe it was Spartan? I think they had that whole "sound mind in a sound body" philosophy going on. Just a hunch, though.

Well, my German isn't exactly up to par, so 😬I might be off base here.
Saxophone said:But if you aren't, let me tell you—that feeling of having zero control over your chest bouncing up and down while you're out for a run is definitely not a fun experience.

Saxophone said:Look, if you aren't already dealing with it, trust me—that feeling of having zero control over your chest bouncing up and down while you're out for a run? It’s honestly pretty miserable.

Hey there, gorgeous! 😉

Got any clips... maybe in slow motion? 😬

Saxophone said:Spartan style, I guess. They used to live by that "sound mind in a sound body" mantra. You gotta think about it,

Honestly, it used to drive me absolutely insane—there were times I couldn't even tie my own damn sneakers because my blood pressure would spike so hard I felt like my head was going to explode (you know how it is, right? 😳). So, I’d end up sprinting through an open field, racing to catch a Greyhound bus, or hiking up some steep trail, and I wouldn't even come back down to earth for like thirty minutes... it sucks being stuck in a body that just won't cooperate. 🙂
Any sane person can see the link between physical fitness and mental health. Staying active isn't just a hobby; it's basic common sense—part of just knowing how to live a decent life, kind of like how learning a second language is a fundamental skill.
So, please, for the love of God... get out there and run! 😁

Nah, I don't. But if you're looking for something, go find some third-tier bombshells on Baywatch😁

Quote of the day:

"Ante Gotovina has zero trouble following along with Canadian or Mexican translators. He’s a polyglot."

Ivo Farcic, from the A. G. law firm.

crimsonfalcon17 said:Look, just explain it to a total hillbilly like me how to actually hook this stuff up and get some decent music playing at work...

And maybe give me a recommendation from whatever Pere is spinning these days...

Pere Ubu? You? Forget about it... There's zero chance you're gonna dig it (plus, you were totally hating on some other band by the same guy who was blasting in my car on Saturday while I was driving you home).

As far as the radio goes, just head over to http://www.last.fm/ , download their player, and get it installed. Later, whenever you turn it on, just type in whatever band you're feeling at the moment, and instead of playing them, they'll just throw on the Smiths. 🙄

"General Miller doesn't have any trouble understanding those translators from the North America. He’s basically a polyglot."

Timothy Jones85 said:If I had the chance, I’d be hitting the gym six hours a week...

You still in high school? 😲 🤔

Melissa Sanchez37 said:Oh boy... I could never jump a hurdle, let alone a horse; I fell flat on my face during dodgeball; and once they lifted me off the ground in gymnastics, I started screaming from pure terror. Also, NEVER (and I mean never) did I actually hit anyone playing tag. 😁

I loved gymnastics. Honestly, with a tiny bit of practice, I think I could nail a handstand again. But I absolutely loathed PE—I would've taken a detention just to sit on the bleachers for the rest of the hour. And that stupid six-minute run? Whoever designed that workout clearly wanted people to suffer from collapsed lungs, internal bleeding, or passing out. 😠

Foreign languages? Yeah, I’m pretty much hopeless at them. 😢

Dammit. 😂

Carol Jackson45 said:And honestly, that absolutely brainless six-minute sprint? God help whoever came up with that training routine—it’s basically designed to make you pop an organ, cough up blood, or just pass out mid-stride. 😠

Some people were doing twelve minutes because apparently that was part of the "new program"... ugh, death awaits.

Literally nobody in the class wasn't fudging their numbers, except maybe the first two varsity athletes who actually put in the work and ran. 😵

God. 🙂Just...

The five material textures I assign to colors after getting maybe three hours of sleep (if I'm lucky):

1. Red — rough metal
2. Blue — velvet, or maybe some kind of chewy rubber
3. Green — hairy, grassy, or a shag carpet
4. Purple — something sharp, like a spindle
5. Yellow — thin plastic or wax

The most hilarious thing this "expert" ever said regarding his own supposed expertise was this:
"I don't actually have an opinion on this."
(And that was his big, brilliant answer when I asked him how he thought we should set up the microphone.)

Ponor said:Why on earth is it called medicine ball?

Because those balls aren't meant for playing games; they're tools for training. Primarily used in physical therapy.

Narantxa said:Running was actually invented by Hitler.🙂

Personally, I used to think running was the greatest thing ever. I lived right next door to the local high school stadium, so after my workouts, I’d always stick around for a bit longer just to get some extra miles in. Then, eventually, I discovered the allure of a good cocktail... half the track team ended up getting wasted.

The absolute worst part of gym class, though, had to be basketball and—honestly—those rhythmic gymnastics routines. Just awful.

Short and sweet...
It won't install on my Mac. Seriously, computers suck...

And I can't stand the Smiths one bit...

Even their fitness trackers were counting push-ups, sit-ups, and pull-ups—all just to impress the President. Honestly, I bet nobody even bothered to shower on those days...

but honestly, running is the only way to go. 🙂

I always viewed basketball as a dangerous sport—you'd inevitably end up with a finger in your eye, an elbow to the skull, or a torn ligament in your chest.

Running just to run? That’s a total waste of time... but chasing down a ball? Now that’s a goddamn calling.
