Wait, what exactly is a PCR test? And more importantly, is there a scheduled break for a bathroom run or a beer while this thing is happening?😕

Susan Clark10 said:Honestly... watching her play his girlfriend was painful because she used such a forced, fake New York accent that it actually made me nauseous. It was the exact same issue in *The Great Gatsby*, where Nina Violić—who is originally from Miami—was using this weird, exaggerated Northeast dialect that sounded totally off. I don't think this is just Mathew McConaughey's fault; it's an issue with all our directors. They either insist on this formal, textbook way of speaking that nobody actually uses, or they lean so hard into certain accents that they end up sounding completely unnatural.

Fair enough. At least we agree on everything else.😬

Well, look... my post wasn't really just about the money. I mostly just felt this sudden urge to say something about how forced and unnatural everyone's speech has become lately. Her comment was really just the spark that set me off. 😉

Hmm, well, since I actually know Mathew McConaughey personally, I have to ask him where he gets the idea that copywriters make enough to drop $600 a night on hookers. Sure, if you're someone like Bret Easton Ellis, maybe that flies, but everyone else I knew back home was just making a totally average salary...

And honestly, getting a blood transfusion is just as stupid nowadays. Like, why even bother explaining how someone got it in the first place?

But hey, I guess it works if you're treating it like a movie plot....

Nicholas Perez33 said:The complete opposite of that... Bruce Springsteen... 😬

Up. 🙂 🙂

What’s actually worse... slander or just straight-up lying? I mean, they both feel pretty dirty, but there's a nuance there that people usually miss when they're busy throwing shade online...
Honestly, we just vibe with Bruce Springsteen way more... he’s just got that soul, you know?

🙂

Well, it's probably to prove he didn't get it in some "inappropriate" way... you know, because he's young, hot, wealthy, successful, straight, and clearly thinks this kind of thing could never happen to him.😉

The more lies and slander they throw our way,
The more we’ll love Bruce Springsteen, I’d say!

🙂

better not mess with the inner circle😬 🙂

Truth is on our side—we've got elite units on an Amtrak ride, flying like dead pheasants and ready to rain hell on enemy positions whenever needed!

Besides, like those wise Swedes always say: "We'll fight to the last Finn!"😬

Yeah, one of his biggest blunders is when he’s trying to explain where he lives to that woman and claims he's a "victim of the 1940s fascism"... there is absolutely no way anyone from Chicago would ever say they were a "victim of fascism" just because they live near Times Square... I'm feeling a bit spiteful today because this forum is looking pretty 😈ugly

Maybe he was thinking of that rat-infested fascist plaza over in Newark.

My current top 3 most hated software programs:

1. AutoCAD (those damn features you can never find when you actually need them, plus drawing everything on one fixed axis)
2. Word (trying to insert an image is a total nightmare)
3. Excel (honestly, I don't even know how to turn this thing on)

Top 3 general computer and submission nightmares:

1. Fatal error (the blue screen of death)
2. Paper jams
3. Power outages

I’ve actually gotten pretty good at making all sorts of charts in Excel since I started working🙏 🙏 but man—that absolute garbage where you try to close one single window and the whole thing decides to kill every single document you have open at once🙂

The absolute funniest thing my mom says when she wants something immediately—and refuses to actually use her brain to find it: "Where's that little container for the rounds?" (And by that, I mean the box of Tic Tacs).

My relative is the same way—when her brain goes on strike, she starts saying stuff like "pass me that devil thing" or "that demon guy"... It wouldn't be funny if she hadn't just started working as an announcer for the Catholic Radio Network, where you definitely can't be mentioning devils and creepy creatures like that 🤣

@ Kevin Chavez3 - see why I write my posts in AutoCAD now? 😬

Carol Jackson45 said:@ Kevin Chavez3 — do you see now why I draft my lyrics in AutoCAD? 😬

One really ought to master drawing, coloring, typing, and inserting images manually within Freehand... 😍

He is the only one I truly respect. As for Microsoft Word—I’ll only be persuaded to use it if someone provides a pre-defined table beforehand... then, and only then, can I insert images *with pride*.
