Last week's audio scavenger hunt list
01.01.-08.01.2006
1 Calexico 76
2 Iron & Wine 52
3 Vashti Bunyan 49
4 Jets to Brazil 30
5 John Frusciante 15
6 The Notwist 14
7 Mark Lanegan 13
8 Black Rebel Motorcycle Club 12
9 Björk 11 (seriously again? I really can't stand her)
9 The Cardigans 11
Vashti Bunyan just dropped her second album—thirty-five years after her first one🙂 Weird.
It took me months of dipping in and out before her debut finally clicked for me. But now? I'm obsessed. So maybe in a few months, I'll actually dig this new one too.

What's up, you jerk?
I'm on the fence about picking up that New York thrash compilation.
I also need some anarcho-punk for a $33, a roommate's NG project.
And I've spent the entire day debating whether or not to grab Arcade Fire.

Yeah, whatever. You know I can't just sit still—I've always got to be bouncing around somewhere.
I mean, I’ve definitely had those moments where you jerk your neck hard because you didn't pull the handle quite right, and then your whole body just keeps flying forward into an empty room... pure momentum.
Daniel Bailey7 said:What?
I once threw my neck out so bad in my sleep that I had to hit up the ER just to get a painkiller shot for a pinched nerve, but THIS... 😵
I’m already used to it, but now everyone's acting like it's a big deal... got my printer toner, some Advil, and a pack of Budweiser arriving this evening. 😁

Even LeBron James couldn't stay steady, and now I see him limping down Broadway every single day...

Back to my usual routine of deleting everything. Turns out I spent the whole week listening to magazine 63 put. 🙄

Man, look who he thinks he's comparing me to. 🙂

Uzo "Fresh Fruit" checks out the poster and the beautiful remastered audio. NY Thrash says it's a sell...

it's definitely not me🙂

Man, if I sell my "Fresh Fruit," I might as well lose my house and my wife too. On one hand, you've got "Fresh Fruit," and on the other, some random German disco band. It's a manufacturing error. They wrote about it on AT, though apparently even Milton Berle didn't know it existed...

Would you actually believe me if I told you I can stand Milton Berle better? 😢>

Things just got heavy...
😬
Hands down the most intense thing I’ve heard—or read, honestly, I can't even remember when—about Milton Berle:
I don't know what to tell you—some people just love to hear themselves talk. It’s like they think if they post enough nonsense, it somehow becomes truth. Absolute joke. kaže:
Ugh, please—there is absolutely no way that guy is getting anywhere near me. I wouldn't let him get close enough to my ear even if I ground him up into tiny little Q-tips first. 🤮
😂 🙂 😂
I almost fell right out of my chair laughing when I read that. 🤣
Ralisha, you've got to be kidding me. Seriously, just... wow. 🙏 🙏

My day was an absolute disaster
-A persistent headache that lasted all day
-Losing my last few single dollars out of my pocket
-An 8:00 AM lecture where everything went completely off the rails
-The city bus driver nearly ran over some guy right in front of me
-And everything else that went wrong today

Coming from magazine 63 times? Now, just imagine that! 🙂

Yeah. 😬

If you don't want them, I know someone who does. 🙂

With all due respect, I really don't have much to contribute to the discussion regarding eggs and fire starters 🤔
Here is a list of vegetables currently competing in my mind for the privilege of being drowned in miso soup alongside the usual mushrooms and tofu...
Leeks 😍
Broccoli
Carrots
That pale, frozen Chinese variety
A frozen minestrone mix—though since it actually contains potatoes, it is disqualified
Hmm 🤔 I am thinking quite a lot today. 🤔 Once again

Hey! Let’s not drag those last two into this—even if they can be pretty entertaining once in a while. 😵 )
Let's get a little off-topic for a moment—time to rank the top 10 tracks from the Blue Album. 😁
It’s just me—no one else.
The world has moved on—and frankly, it left me standing right where I was.
3. My name is Jonas.
4. Buddy Holly
5. hanging out in the garage.
It’s funny how that works—it only ever seems to happen in dreams.
7. Surf wax in America — honestly, it’s a bit of a niche market here.
The eighth holiday—just another date on the calendar, really—though I suppose some might find more significance in it than I do. It’s much like that mid-season lull in the MLB schedule; necessary for breathing, perhaps, but hardly a grand spectacle.
9. Say it ain't so—really.
10. Undone (Sweater Song)
