It feels almost impossible—like choosing between my own children—to pick just 😬 I was laughing so hard I could barely breathe, so I decided to settle for just the top four tracks from March 1986. The final three are listed in no particular order.

Godzilla is just a total drag
I have always had a soft spot for superheroes, though, and I’m also quite fond of Spaceman Spiffa

The three albums I was vibing to most tonight:

1. 1. Prince - Parade 2. Prince - Sign o'the Times 😍 😍 😍
2. 2. Prince - Sign o'the Times 😍 😍 it’s creeping up toward 😍
3. 3. Prince - Around The World in a Day 😍 😍 but slowly drifting away from 😍

And here's the eternal mystery: how does someone who spent years churning out absolute garbage manage to catch such a massive wave of inspiration in one short stretch during the mid-eighties, dropping nothing but masterpieces or at least killer albums back-to-back? 😕 It's like nothing else before or after. What kind of cosmic alignment actually happened there? Or did Apolonija and that other one infect him with some kind of temporary creative syphilis? Who knows...

It took me months of dipping in and out before the debut actually clicked for me. But now? I love it. So maybe in a few months, this new one will hit just as hard.

The first album was sweet to me from the jump, but nothing more. Maybe a little too mellow. That was until I read the backstory of how it was recorded. Once that clicked, I fell completely in love with it. 😍
That image of the girl driving her wagon across the entire country while singing "just another diamond day" 😍 😍 and then there's this one 😍

Is the new one similar? Does it have that same vibe?

I’m keeping this series of strange dreams going: last night I was trekking across the massive 😍 peaks with Jimmy Jazz... 😁

I had some seriously intense dreams last night. A few of you guys from the forum even made an appearance. It’s a shame because they were incredibly vivid—nightmares, really. We're talking blood, organs being ripped out, all that dark stuff. Honestly? Not my cup of tea. 😁

Though, I'll admit, there were some decent bits mixed in. I ended up chatting with a couple of people, just catching up and whatnot. 😬

I can just see it now: Jimmy chasing you through the woods, screaming at the top of his lungs.

He wasn't chasing me; it was just a dream from back when we were actually friends. 😢

1. Calvin and his dad practicing baseball.
2. Mom and Dad’s arguments (like, "I told you we should've gotten a dachshund, but no, you insisted...")
3. Every single snowman ever made.

4. Hobbes—just everything about him. Especially those snarky comments from Calvin after school (no, I don't have a cat). And especially when he isn't even "real"—like when he's just having tea at Susie Derkins' house.
5. Calvin and his bike.
6.
