Ponor said:So, how much is it actually costing, and more importantly, does it actually fill you up? 🙂

Quick update—it arrived $6.00, and yeah, it’s decent enough to satisfy a craving (roughly the size of a decent burger), though I did end up with a bit too little sauce, which I suppose might be my own fault. As for the rest:
  • The meat was solid—CHECK (tastes a little like jerky, some kind of pork situation going on here)
  • Plenty of grease dripping everywhere—CHECK
  • Greasy fingers and a messy mouth—CHECK
  • The price-to-portion ratio is pretty fair, I guess
  • A mountain of sides included—CHECK

Overall rating: 4.25. Worth a shot if you're hungry.

Here are my top four things I don’t play—though I know some people would probably love to see me try:

Lilihip and me — Swedish gay disco.
It's all our fault—Mihael, Nicholas Perez33, and myself—just a bunch of damn emos.
3. golden germans (oktopod and I—a progressive folk duo)
4. lvcky (stresse, hans, krivi, oktopod and me — a heavy metal blend with a hint of Brit-pop)

Then again... maybe I should actually get started—at least then my odds with the opposite sex might improve. 🙄

If you had been just a little bit faster...
Do you maybe need some Pump Up the Valuum to get moving?

No thank you. This one holds a certain... sentimental value for me 😬

Change the name and the genre and we can talk. But I have zero complaints about an emo band. The name is flawless—it’s also a nod to Jawbreaker, so massive respect there...👍

On another note, I'm still recruiting members for my ultra-right-wing, Satanic black metal project, DEVILS AND AMERICANS. If anyone is interested, hit me up.😎

Honestly, I just don't get how that name hasn't been snatched up already. 😁

Daniel Bailey7 said:Here are my top 4 bands that I don't actually play in (even though some people would definitely want me to join):

1. svenochlars (me and lilihip - basically Swedish gay disco)
2. ache (krivi, mihael, Nicholas Perez33 and me - just straight up emo)
3. golden germans (oktopod and me - a progressive folk duo)
4. lvcky (stresse, hans, krivi, oktopod and me - sweet metal with a heavy Brit-pop influence)

But honestly... maybe if I actually started playing music... I’d at least have a fighting chance with the ladies... 🙄

🙂 🙂 🙂
Man, maybe that golden germans group wouldn't be such a bad call eventually... 😬

I think an Angels of Light single like "Other People" is plenty for you...🙂>

...mostly because it’s the only track they have where there's actually a glimmer of light.

Dead Carrot said:I’m putting together a list of 10 moody, autumnal songs.

Here is my little contribution just for you, baby.

The Magnetic Fields - I Don't Believe in the Sun

They say there's a sun in the sky
They say there's a sun in the sky
but me, I can't imagine why
There might have been one
before you were gone
but now all I see is the night, so

I don't believe in the sun

How could it shine down on everyone
and never shine on me

How could there be
such cruelty.

The only sun I ever knew
was the beautiful one that was you
Since you went away
it's nighttime all day
and it's usually raining too

The only stars there really are
were shining in your eyes
There is no sun except the one
that never shone on other guys
The moon to whom the poets croon
has given up and died
Astronomy will have to be revised 🙂

Here’s a few tracks for this fall transition—nothing depressing here, at least not for me.

idols - dok dobuje kiša
notwist - off the rail (the prettier version)
my morning jacket - golden
john cale - taking it all away (yeah, it misses the mark in spots... but still)
carter usm - my defeatist attitude (that intro is incredible)
against me! - cavalier eternel
national - looking for astronauts

Anyway, have you managed to get away yet?

I don't think so. Honestly, my neighbor knows more about what's going on than I do. It feels like my family has completely forgotten I exist. 😁. Maybe they'll reach out eventually 😁
.

Whatever. No, not yet. Things are still pretty tense.
