So, here’s the deal: I open up the DraftKings site and they’re flashing this offer at me for a 100% deposit bonus! So, I put my money down, and absolutely nothing happens. I reach out to support, and they basically tell me, "Oh, you were supposed to click a specific link or go to a certain landing page, then request a code, and then manually enter that code somewhere..." something like that. Why on earth wouldn't they just state those requirements clearly in the actual promotion text right there on their own website? To me, that feels like a total scam...
Regarding PokerStars, I feel like the terms were pretty straightforward, so I went ahead and agreed to them... and it was the same story with Bet365, though I suppose I just messed up myself by failing to copy the code from my email...
Honestly, DraftKings isn't really good at anything except marketing. Sure, they have a ton of niche props, like predicting how many people will be sitting in the 7th row or who's going to take the 69th corner, but most decent sportsbooks carry those kinds of markets anyway, and usually with much better odds.
As for poker, I mostly just play to kill some time—mostly $5 tournaments or low-stakes cash games...
Look, don't try to defend DraftKings if everyone else is saying it's garbage. I don't want to see anyone else get screwed over when there are much better sportsbooks out there...
I don't think you even need hard proof when the majority of people are saying the exact same thing across various sites and forums, aside from maybe a few outliers who probably benefit from DraftKings' promotion...
