This won't work if it stays just a Star Wars subforum. It needs to cover Sci-Fi and Fantasy too. That’s how you get traction.

That isn't actually a bad idea.

Honestly, I live for fantasy and Sci-Fi. At this point, it's all I read, watch, or play.😁

It would probably perform much better that way.

Yeah, but I think silentpilot6 has a point. Star Wars really needs its own dedicated section. If we don't, everything just gets lumped together—books, comics, concept art, you name it.
Star Wars should stay isolated within the Movie forum, since that’s where it all started. Everything else just branched off from the movies anyway.

I didn't bother reading his entire post closely enough...
I have to agree, that would be the superior solution, but I doubt it would pass on its own merit.

Besides, this Fantasy subforum is strictly for books, even though there are plenty of movies in the genre out there...

Who knows. We'll see what they decide to give us.

That’s funny, because you didn't seem to feel that way just a moment ago.
It seems some people will do absolutely anything just to land a moderator position.
Now it's all just mindless spam, whereas a little while back, the argument was that my longer posts weren't even worth reading because they were supposedly just nonsense that would eventually win forum awards anyway.😉

And for the record, it isn't 3,000; it's just over 2,000.

Anyway, if you're that desperate to moderate—fine, have it your way.
I'm withdrawing my candidacy. Let rapidmoose5 and Galax handle the moderation instead.

Hmm, I gotta say, I can't just sit here and stay quiet about this. Mainly because you’re actually putting in the work.
The three of us have been so wrapped up in trying to moderate the Star Wars section that nobody else even posts here besides us. 😁
It’d be the fairest thing if all three of us could do it, but I know that's probably not happening.

Well... they were probably just waiting for me to cast my decisive vote YES! — because let’s be honest, nothing happens without me.

Regarding the whole moderator situation, why not just find some middle ground?
I hate playing referee, but why not split the moderator lightsaber between Galaxy and Legion? Unless, of course, the Darth Council changes their mind after seeing my brilliant suggestion and decides to appoint me instead...

But seriously.
Oh, right. If we end up with two mods, one has to be light side and the other dark. You know, the classic good cop, bad cop routine.

I’m just wondering which naive soul is actually going to volunteer for the light side... 😈
