Rambo: Last Blood

For the last year or two, everyone’s been speculating about what kind of mess John Doe would be getting into for his fifth outing. People were guessing he’d be taking on a Mexican drug cartel or maybe some weird genetically engineered mutants, but over the weekend, Sylvester Stallone shut all those rumors down by revealing that Rambo is actually going up against ISIS! 😁 On top of that, according to Stallone, the studio already has specialized teams on the ground in Iraq and Syria gathering intel on ISIS just to make sure the movie feels as authentic as possible. 🤣 No, I'm seriously not kidding. 🙂



While he was hanging out at this year's San Diego Comic-Con to promote Creed, Stallone dropped this bombshell: We have reconnaissance teams in Iraq and parts of Syria where ISIS has its strongest strongholds. We're working closely with local authorities to capture the most striking and realistic Rambo film ever made.

When he was asked to dive deeper into the specifics of the project, he wouldn't give an inch, choosing instead to stay focused on promoting Creed.

As it stands, Rambo: Last Blood should be heading into production soon, and based on what he said, we're looking at a Rambo version of The Guns of Navarone.

This seems like such an obvious CIA operation that I wouldn't be surprised if they eventually spin it into some new sequel to Argo in a few years. 😁

It’d be best if Stallone just went over there as a volunteer—you know, to actually see what it's like in real life.

That guy Rambo just can't seem to play nice with the rest of the world...

In the fourth installment, he’s just starting to find some inner peace... so the world gets hit hard in the fifth 😁

The last one was actually great, honestly don't think they can top it. I'm not a fan of Rambo out in the wilderness like in part 3, we all know how hollow that movie felt even though they tried everything to make it work.

I honestly think Rambo should be going up against elite special forces, corrupt SWAT teams, or some other high-tier tactical units—not just some random thugs from out of nowhere. That’s how we actually get to see him in action. Honestly, what was that whole mess with ISIL? It felt totally off—like he's lost his edge somehow.

He went toe-to-toe with Russian Spetsnaz in parts two and three. Rambo doesn't run from real action... 😁

Not sure how this will land, but it sounds better than those trailers from a few years back about hunting down some neo-Nazis 😁

Everything aside—I'm particularly interested in seeing those specialized teams deployed in Iraq and Syria to gather intel on ISIS
. Regardless, I'm really looking forward to checking this out.

Man, I have to admit... there's something deeply satisfying about watching someone beat the hell out of neo-Nazis, Nazis, or any kind of old-school white supremacist.😢
