Elizabeth Mendoza said:What a joke. A virtual safety car just because two cars went off track into the wall? 🤣

They’re really just handing everything to Lewis Hamilton on a silver platter.

And what does that actually accomplish if the gaps have to stay the same?? It only helped Valtteri Bottas.

Honestly, it’s a miracle Hamilton managed to keep that car on the track without slamming straight into the wall.
Once you hit the grass, you're basically a passenger. It only takes a split second for the tires to lose grip, and then you're just along for the ride. He definitely had a bit of luck on his side there, but let's be real—it was mostly just his experience and pure skill pulling him through.

I mean, what would have happened if he’d wiped out? He would've trashed the car and walked away with zero points.

Hamilton’s going to catch him in about a lap, maybe two at most.

Edit: I'm feeling a bit pessimistic here. Max better hold him off.

Just ask Max what happened at Silverstone.

How, precisely, could one possibly argue that this isn't dirty driving?

It seems we have a complete collection of everything people love to criticize Max for right here.
Leaving absolutely no room in the corner at 0:23
That weaving maneuver at 1:59

Right here:

Consider a situation much like what happened in Brazil, where Hamilton pushes Rosberg off the inside line of the turn (at 2:00)

And all of this occurs within a single race. Is it not remarkably easy to defend oneself or strike out at others when one is neglecting the fundamental safety of their fellow competitors?🙂

What on earth is Yuki Tsunoda even doing in NASCAR?

Raymond Anderson4 said:Regarding the duel itself, Max’s explanation is even more nonsensical:
"The tyres were already a bit worn, so I was really on the edge of grip. That's why I think I was already not fully on the apex, so then it's a safer way of just running a bit wide there.

How is running wide considered a "safer method"? If Lewis had been alongside him and forced off the track, they would have collided three meters past the exit. We've never seen a precedent like that before.🙏

His whole strategy in a duel seems designed to completely prevent anyone from overtaking. He brakes late, pushes the other driver toward the edge of the track, and then drifts wide just so you can't pass him even off-line. It's madness.🤣
I honestly think he's lying. He didn't go wide because he lacked grip; he went wide because he decided to block Lewis by any means necessary. I've rewatched that clip several times, and Max wasn't driving nearly fast enough to justify losing his line like that.

So, Elizabeth Mendoza and I were going back and forth about that Sainz-Norris clash right at the start of the race.
Just thinking about the color red gives her stomach cramps, which pretty much makes it impossible for her to look at any situation involving a red car with anything resembling logic.

I missed what Lewis Hamilton was saying on the radio because I was stuck in the restroom, so I only caught the very end of it.

Look, we’re talking about having way more room to maneuver here. It’s not even close to what happened there.
Another thing is that Max tries to force moves that just aren't there, and then he ends up paying for it. He's had way too many of those "oops" moments over the last three seasons.

There’s definitely one more pit stop left, which means Red Bull Racing is going to have to find a way to overtake.

Exactly what happened to Max at Silverstone. Only difference is Hamilton actually has the sense to give up a position, which he's already done plenty of times this season.

So, which tire compound is he looking for?

I guess you didn't miss much then.

I’d say in their direct head-to-head battles, he's played it smart and avoided the chaos at least 5 or 6 times now.

I find it hard to imagine Max pulling a move like that.

Terrible move by Red Bull Racing. They’re going to get burned at the end with those softs.

He’s checking every single box they use to criticize Max.

It's just like that situation in Austin, where Lewis crowds Rosberg right off the track from the inside line (at 2:00)

All in one race. It's so easy to play offense and defense when you aren't even thinking about the other driver's safety. 🙂[/I]

You can drop as many links as you want, but Lewis fans are like anti-vaxxers when you try explaining why vaccines actually work.

Same goes for Sky Sports and the official F1 channel. If Hamilton is involved, everything is "epic" and "thrilling" because he's their golden boy. But if Max were in that spot—or when he eventually is—suddenly it's a "menace."

So, looks like Lewis is on yellows for about 10 laps before he starts making his move.

What kind of bias is this? Max is obviously the golden boy.
We aren't even going to play the victim card here; they’re just trying too hard to frame him as the face of F1 while he’s still potentially sitting on the greatest career in history.

I have actually provided you with the evidence showing how Lewis was also "favored," despite the fact that his various antics on the track were completely overlooked by the officials. And believe me, those incidents certainly happened.
