Man, he’s been on this kick for ages. I actually caught an interview on X the other day where he was straight up claiming people only hate on him at the track because of his race.

It looks like Mercedes just "shipped" a new engine upgrade. They probably squeezed out an extra 15 to 20 horsepower on top of an already capable Power Unit, and honestly, that’s about as much as you can expect...
Word on the street is that the Power Unit is typically spec'd to run for about 7,500 kilometers, yet Mercedes apparently "shipped" this specific PU with a lifespan of only 2,500 kilometers... basically because they don't need anything more to coast through the rest of the season... and by doing that, they managed to squeeze out some extra horsepower...
So, they’ve played it smart by handling the Power Unit swap strategically. Even if there ends up being a recalculation involving the "old" Power Unit, it shouldn't be an issue since that one is perfectly fine to use anyway...

I mean, I don't think that really proves much. In the US, Lewis was just absolutely schooling them, like they were little kids.

But if we look back at when the track in Turkey was wet, one could argue that Lewis didn't exactly step into the spotlight in that way...

We are merely building upon the notion of warping space-time, an idea some forum members attempt to manifest through their claims that Lewis Hamilton could somehow narrow his points deficit against Max Verstappen on a rain-soaked track at Spa-Francorchamps.

In a wet race at Spa, anything can happen. Honestly, you might even see some backmarker take the win.

James Collins said:Nobody is even saying that. The actual point—which you guys are either totally ignoring or just twisting around—is that nobody was supposed to get points for that race at all.
It’s like two football teams head out for warmups, the weather is right on the edge of being unplayable, things get worse mid-way through, and then the ref and the crew decide it’s too risky and call the whole thing off after a few minutes. Then later, they announce the favorite gets 1.5 points (half a win) and the underdog gets 0.5 (half a draw).
Sounds stupid, right? Would the favorite have won? Who knows.
It’s just plain dumb to hand out points when the game didn't even happen.
Same goes for giving points for a race that wasn't actually driven.
Honestly, I don't care if Lewis is better, Max is better, or if a literal saint is better. The point is, someone got points they didn't earn.
