It honestly bugs me how nobody ever asks about this during any tournament...

The top scorer rule always follows that dead heat principle—so if there’s, say, a three-way tie, your winnings just get split three ways and that's all you walk away with.

Anyway, looking at today's game, they're playing against the Mexicans. They're definitely better than the Costa Rican squad, and even then, South Americans haven't exactly been dominating in Europe lately. But still, it's the Mexicans... I can't bring myself to bet big when these guys flop so consistently.

I guess I’m passing on Ronald for a higher stake, even if he’s looking good. With Iran and Morocco coming up, he's got three goals ahead of him, and honestly, Portugal should probably make the quarterfinals...

there's really no point in betting on Ronald now, three is just too low

if you really want to go there, I’d rather bank on Neymar actually showing up... if he scores and we hit that plus-two odds on Ronald, then maybe we can look up...

in any case, I grabbed Neymar at +11 before the tournament started. He could easily make his mark at this World Cup, and honestly, the fact that he's a lock on penalties—and better than Messi at it, too 🤣—is a nice little bonus

Today I had to play 1 against the Swiss side in their match versus Brazil.
I don't know much about the Swiss—really nothing at all—but their recent results look remarkably solid from where I'm sitting.
It’s Sunday, which is always a prime opportunity for those public bets to fall flat on their faces. ☕

Mexico is actually fine—I’m officially calling it on that Swiss route

That covers it—it's just not okay.😁

How on earth can you even write a prediction like that when you clearly don't have the slightest clue what kind of teams these actually are? 🤣

Mexico grabs a corner in the first minute and then absolutely nothing happens. Disappointing.

Look, the Swiss have been super solid for a decade now—totally consistent. Mexico, on the other hand, has always been such a wild card. It’s honestly a fifty-fifty toss-up, just depends on if luck is on their side that day!

The main thing is that they need to bury Mexico on the pitch before the tournament even starts—I almost pulled off a miracle and played my way through Sweden's bracket myself!

Look, if a team is truly an enigma, you can't just assume Switzerland is cruising through the group stage simply because they've been consistent.🤷

I mean, I watched that too.😢

I probably wouldn't say anything if they had actually stepped up later, but all those attacks and still absolutely nothing... just bleak.🙏

driftingotter47 said:I mean, look—if you're dealing with a total wildcard team, how can you be so sure they'll actually cruise through the group stage just because they seem steady? You can't bank on that kind of stability when everything is such a mystery, right? 🤷

Honestly, Switzerland and Mexico are basically neck and neck in terms of pure quality—it’s a total toss-up! I’m feeling pretty confident that Switzerland is gonna step up and play exactly how they should, you know? As for Mexico... well, people have been saying they're just "okay" for the last 20 years straight, so why would this time be any different?

Honestly, it feels like everything is finally clicking and coming together over here today! It’s like we're totally in sync—no chaos, no mess, and honestly? It doesn't even feel like Switzerland has the upper hand right now. Everything just feels right!

Don't let that Brazil win fool you—honestly, they just seem to have a knack for playing up against the heavy hitters! I mean, look at the track record: they knocked out the 2010 World Cup champs, Spain, pulled a draw against the 2006 finalists from France, and even held off the 2014 finalists from Argentina. They always find a way to hang with the best of them, don't they?

The odds on Sweden are sitting pretty high at 2.2

What’s your take on this one? Whenever I see a matchup between a European squad and an Asian side, I usually lean toward the non-Asian team—provided it isn't just a friendly. In my experience, the fitness levels of the Europeans tend to outclass the Asian teams most of the time. It’s just a simple observation...

The odds for a Sweden win (no draw) are 1.40. Does that actually hold value? I can't decide if we're looking at a stalemate or if the Swedes are going to pull it off.

Sweden to win 2,10

After that stumble, Germany will definitely be looking to take down both remaining opponents, so securing those 3 points today without overthinking it is essential.
Even though it's just a friendly, Sweden seems more organized to me; grabbing a win here makes sense.

Belgium vs. Panama: Underdog win 2,00

It’s not a lock, but Belgium has a strong roster—a squad that plays fluidly and creates plenty of chances. I believe they can put three past a weak Panama side.
I expect a one-sided match with total dominance from one side.
Panama finished their qualifiers with a negative goal difference.
The USA beat them 4-0, and Switzerland recently won 6-0 in a friendly.

Honestly, once I saw that guy from Panama was on the parlay, I pretty much knew everything was going down the drain
Other than that, yesterday and the day before were absolute winners—Argentina, Germany, Brazil—all hit! Today, it could easily be Lufthansa
Still, I don't trust the English teams too much

The rest

So far it’s just been 2/11 for the over 2.5 goals, so I'm definitely not expecting anything from Panama, and Tunis really needs to play tough

Sweden is looking perfect for an over 2.5 @ 2.70, and honestly, nobody is seeing much value from the underdog picks lately

I’m looking at the handicap for the Tunis match—for the exact same reasons I was eyeing the Switzerland game yesterday.
Call it a superficial analysis if you want, but frankly, nobody asked for my permission to predict an outcome. ☕
Tunis just fought to a draw against Portugal—a game where even the Spaniards barely scraped by with a 1-0 win—meanwhile, the English side has managed to cover the handicap in only one of their last nine outings.
If that data point carries any weight for anyone out there, the odds on Tunis and the draw are currently sliding down.

As for Sweden-South Korea, my money is on both teams scoring NE, and those odds are seeing a significant drop as well.
Sweden hasn't found the back of the net in their last three matches, and Korea has gone scoreless in their last two.

Belgium vs. Panama Womens Over 3.5 goals - 2.40 at SS.
I’m expecting a massive defensive bunker, frantic retreating into their own box, and a mountain of fouls within 30-40 yards of the goal. The odds are tempting enough to try for the over—though the nagging question remains: if Belgium cracks the code in the first thirty minutes, does anyone actually need this kind of chaotic game?

After those recent blunders, Germany is definitely going to be hungry to take down both remaining opponents, so today it’s crucial to secure all three points without overthinking things too much.
Even though this is just a friendly, Sweden seems a bit more cohesive to me, so it might be worth grabbing the win.

Belgium vs Panama remains at 2.00

It's hardly a sure thing, but Belgium has a deep roster; they're a fluid side that creates plenty of chances, so I suspect they could put three past a struggling Panama.
I’m expecting a one-sided affair where one team dominates.
Panama finished their qualifiers with a negative goal difference.
The USA beat them 4-0, and Switzerland recently dismantled them 6-0 in a friendly.

Odds from Psk

Copied. I also took the double chance on the English side. Sweden is sitting at 2.2 on the SS app.

Just be careful with that one...

Both teams were scoreless in their friendlies, though that doesn't necessarily mean anything.

I’ve already seen it, and honestly, that’s just one more reason why—they really need to open up once in a while! It’s not like they're some team from Greece or Cyprus playing super defensive all the time, you know?
