So, what, you aren't intimidated by those massive odds anymore? 🤣

Man, look at those odds! In both of those cases, we at least hit the jackpot when the payout was peaking at 3.20—specifically during that France and Australia matchup. Talk about timing, right?

Man, this guy basically caught a moonbeam out of thin air! Seriously—he pulled off that solo goal from Elver, and honestly? If he hadn't, nobody would have even smelled a goal today. Just pure magic!

Honestly, if you’re looking at the big matchups, it's really just Real Madrid and Barca who actually stand a chance at covering that +3 spread—everyone else is basically playing for nothing! Why even bother betting the rest? It's all total junk.

Man, even if it’s Spain vs. Portugal, that’s basically just an El Clásico vibe all over again!

I am anticipating a heavy defensive bunker, a panicked retreat into their own 16-yard box, and a mountain of fouls committed just 30 to 40 meters from the goal. The odds are tempting enough to make me consider playing it, though one must wonder if Belgium settles things within the first half, rendering such a defensive struggle unnecessary.

I don't expect any yellow cards there, but honestly, given how this World Cup has played out so far, I wouldn't be surprised if they did. 🙂Good luck!

This guy was basically out there grabbing at moonbeams in mid-air, and somehow, Elver managed to score—otherwise, nobody would have even smelled a goal.

Honestly, only Real Madrid and Barca in an El Clásico actually stand a chance of hitting that over 3.5; everything else is just total garbage.

Even if you look at Spain and Portugal, it’s basically the same deal as an El Clásico.

For the love of God, stop posting this nonsense. This is your final warning.

Thomas Cook54 said:I totally blanked on the rules for betting on the top scorer. If there's a tie for the most goals, does everyone who picked one of them actually win?

jadewolf16 said:I don't know why we bother. It’s always the same story around here—total incompetence and zero accountability. Just more of the same nonsense.

I looked into the betting odds on this, and most bookies are offering "Golden Boot winner" as a prop. Honestly, it makes me wonder if they’d even bother actually paying out the winnings.

Kyle Torres60 said:The top scorer always follows the dead heat rule. So if there's, say, 3 winners, you just split the prize three ways and that's what you walk away with.

Just a heads up though—the actual bet amount doesn't get split. Some people were tripping thinking that should happen too, but that’d create this weird paradox where you end up with a winning ticket worth less than what you actually put down, and you weren't even playing a system bet.😵

Daniel Cooper40 said:I was checking out some of the betting lines for this—most of the sportsbooks just list the "Golden Boot winner" as the option, so it’s pretty questionable whether they’d even split the payout if there's a tie.

So, the Golden Boot thing has been around since 2010, but from 1982 to 2010 it was actually called the "Golden Shoe," and before that, it was just known as "Top Scorer"—which meant a bunch of different players could snag it (including our guy Dražen Jerković!)

Basically, there hasn't been any splitting the prize since then! If two players end up with the exact same number of goals, they go to tiebreakers like assists or total minutes played. Someone's gotta come out on top as the sole winner, right?

Once again, thanks to stormyharbor13 for yesterday's tip.
Is there anything similar for today? Maybe a penalty in the Egypt Russia match, or perhaps an underdog win in Poland-Senegal?

Looking at today's Egypt Russia match, I’m leaning toward Egypt to score at least two goals—especially with Salah playing like this

Russia definitely dominated Saudi Arabia on the scoreboard, but honestly, their actual gameplay wasn't anything to write home about... if Egypt can lean on Salah—who's looking absolutely electric right now—they could easily walk away with all three points

So, we’ve only seen one red card so far despite there being 8 penalties—and honestly, if you factor in how many more are likely coming, the gap should start closing pretty soon
And look, it’s not like the rules or the officiating suddenly changed out of nowhere; everything was totally legit and well-deserved

The Mexican and Albanian provocations started ramping up right before the Switzerland match, so things could get a little tense, and
they’re handing out 4, 10... basically, if there's even a hint of a red card coming, you just know that's the vibe of this game

It isn't as if the rules or officiating guidelines have suddenly shifted; everything has been perfectly legitimate and well-deserved.

The fact is, foul play was introduced.

Honestly, VAR can flip a decision any which way—you get those "obvious" penalties called only to have them wiped out seconds later!

Yet, so far, not a single one has been rescinded, while several have actually been called specifically because of him.

If VAR actually existed back then, you bet these would have been totally wiped out!

And man, Dahlin is just standing there looking shocked...

So, when the tournament finally wraps up, I wonder how many penalties we'll end up debating—for or against? Surely the refs aren't going to turn into hawks and start handing them out left and right just because they're in the US, right?

For today:

Portugal vs Morocco 1 @1.65

Portugal really needs this win today; otherwise, that 3:3 draw from earlier doesn't mean much.
After an unexpected loss, Morocco has to chase a miracle here, which should leave plenty of space for CR and his squad.

Uruguay vs Saudi Arabia over 2.5 goals @1.95

The odds are slightly better than the exact score "over" option, though they basically amount to the same thing.
I expect a one-sided match today. Saudi Arabia is struggling at the bottom, and I'm betting on Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani to rack up goals, especially if they find the net early.

The odds look slightly more enticing than just hitting the "other" result, though realistically, both bets lead to the same outcome.
I’m anticipating a one-sided affair today; Saudi Arabia is struggling significantly at this level, and I have high hopes for a scoring spree from Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani, especially if they manage to break through early on.

Perhaps those issues with the flight might actually end up impacting the Saudi Arabian side.😉

It’s kind of wild how Uruguay can just settle for a draw if they want—honestly, who cares? They might just go hunting for a 7-0 blowout instead, just to grab that top spot heading into the final round so they can hopefully dodge Spain in the Round of 16. (Though, honestly, that's anyone's guess... I wonder what the Spaniards are planning?)

Speaking of Spain, they’re looking like the absolute favorites right now. They were easily the best team in the opening round! Brazil isn't quite ready to step up yet, and everyone else? Man, they were even more disappointing than I expected.

Portugal vs Morocco over 1.5 goals @2.05
Honestly, this feels like my riskiest bet yet, but since Portugal has been playing out of their minds lately, I’m expecting a clean handicap here.
I did dial back my expectations a little though, so I'm just sticking with a straight win. Morocco might actually be the toughest team from that region.

Uruguay vs Saudi Arabia HC 0:2 Tip 1 @2.75
In this one, I'm lowkey expecting a total goal fest from Uruguay. My gut says once Saudi Arabia concedes that first goal, they're going to
completely fall apart, just like they did against Russia.

Iran vs Spain HC 2:0 Tip 2 @3.0
To me, Iran looks like the weakest of these three teams, while Spain has easily been the best side in the tournament so far.
If the Spaniards really find their rhythm, we could be looking at a blowout by halftime.

These might just be my top three picks for the Super Bowl today.
