Midtjyll/odg-Randers over 1.5 goals ss (2-2)

Not gonna beat a dead horse on the scoring here—teams in this league love a shootout. I’m taking the over without a second thought. It’s a friendly, and I’m pretty sure both defenses are basically on vacation today. Expect goals.
Good luck, everyone!

Arse/Live/(-1+)-Arsenal more than 2.0 ss (1)

That blowout from a few days ago? I’m betting it just makes the Arsenal guys hungrier. They’re going to be looking for payback. That 5-1 scoreline was a fluke—it doesn't reflect how these teams actually match up. It was one of those weird games where everything just went their way. If a bottom-feeder in the Premier League can sneak two past them and still get dragged into a stoppage-time scrap, then an energized Arsenal should have no problem putting at least two in the back of the net.
Good luck, everyone.

Giroud isn't getting any minutes according to @1,40 ss

Word on the street from some Twitter insiders is that Yaya Toure is starting... honestly, Giroud’s form has been pretty pathetic lately anyway. He might not even get on the pitch; he'd probably be better off grabbing a burger at a local diner instead.

Arsenal-Liverpool Over 2.5 Goals @ 1.90 (2-1)

I’m running a little behind on my analysis here, but I figured I should probably throw this out there anyway.
Like someone else already pointed out, Wenger will likely be rotating a few players today. Here’s what the lineup might look like:
Sagna, Vermaelen, Koscielny, Monreal
Flamini, Wilshere
Ox-Chamberlain, Ozil, Podolski
Bendtner or Sanogo
It doesn't make much sense to rest the goalkeeper, but since word is out that Szczesny might get a breather too, I just skipped over that spot entirely.
Rodgers, on the other hand, isn't sweating the rotation one bit because he doesn't have anything to protect except for domestic cup runs. That 5-1 win against the Gunners was a total blowout, but Liverpool also put three past Fulham, one past West Brom, and four through Everton. Between that hunger for revenge and their current momentum, I’m expecting plenty of goals.

Liverpool: Jones, Flanagan, Skrtel, Agger, Cissokho, Gerrard, Allen, Coutinho, Suarez, Sterling, Sturridge

Arsenal: Fabianski; Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Koscileny, Monreal; Arteta, Flamini; Chamberlain, Ozil, Podolski; Sanogo

Look, speaking as an Arsenal fan, our defense is pretty desperate right now. Even with the Arteta-Flamini duo holding things down, our fullbacks are massive holes in the lineup. On the bright side, the attack looks solid—I’m really digging Podolski on the left and Ox on the right... plus, I'm honestly relieved Giroud isn't starting. That said, Liverpool's backline is looking pretty shaky too. I'm really hoping Arsenal can actually capitalize on those gaps this time. Their offense is absolutely lethal, though. I'm with Drew Wright on this one.

Sevilla vs. Valencia - Over 2.5 goals & Both Teams to Score @ 1.95 > (0-0) // The odds might be slightly better on a state lottery app, but their site is acting up right now and I can't get in.

I think I’ve watched more Sevilla games than anyone else this season, and honestly, they're a pretty fun bunch to follow. They play with this aggressive, attacking mindset—sometimes bordering on reckless, actually—creating endless chances and missing just as many, yet somehow always finding a way to score. If they just had one clinical striker at the helm, they’d probably be sitting much higher in the standings.
I haven't kept as close an eye on Valencia, maybe catching just a few matches, and they strike me as a bit inconsistent. That said, they’ve found some decent rhythm lately; they have a couple of standout players and seem to be scoring quite frequently too.

If you look at the screenshot above, four out of their last five head-to-head matchups have hit the over 2.5 goal mark.
Fingers crossed we see the same thing today.

One more little side bet for this match—just for some cheap entertainment.

23:30h UNIVCH.-EVERTV. Total goals over 2.5 @ 1.60 USA (2-1)

Wrapping up the day with the Chileans. It’s a high-scoring league, so goals usually aren't hard to come by. The home side is a massive favorite here—they've been sitting at the top for a few seasons now and they really know how to rack up points at home. This league is pretty unpredictable, anyone can score, so as long as the home team shows up like they usually do and we grab a goal from the visitors, the over should hit. Three of their last four matches went over this line, so I don't see why tonight would be any different.
Good luck, everyone!

15:00h Seattle Sounders FC/New York City FC @ 1.75 USA (5-0)

Looks like the oddsmakers actually realized what kind of matchup this is. They dropped the over 2.5 line to a measly 1.35, which makes total sense. I decided to go with this slightly riskier play instead. There’s really no doubt in my mind that Seattle Sounders FC will do their thing and put a few past the keeper. The real question is whether New York City FC can find the back of the net. Honestly, in a lower-tier friendly like this, anything can happen. They might struggle early on, but once they settle in during the second half, it's a real possibility. I’m also banking on Seattle Sounders FC chilling out once they get a lead—it's pretty logical to expect them to take their foot off the gas after scoring a few away goals. If this friendly follows a normal flow, I'm expecting a high-scoring game for the home side, maybe paired with a consolation goal from the visitors to cover this.
Good luck, everyone!

Just a long-term parlay idea based on today's odds in the USA.

Bayer - PSG 1.30
The Germans are a solid side at the top, but the Parisians are just too much to handle.
After getting knocked out by FC Barcelona in two tough matches last season, they look ready to move a step or two further this time.
They should handle this routinely, maybe even securing it in Leverkusen.

Arsenal FC - Bayern Munich 1.20
Last year, Bayern dismantled them in the first leg, and in the second, they were barely hanging on.
Even if Arsenal might be in better form this season (occasionally), they still seem prone to tactical collapses, and
what Bayern is capable of was best demonstrated when they tore Manchester City apart right in the middle of Etihad Airways.
I expect total control from the Bavarians on the pitch in both legs; their progression shouldn't be in doubt.

AC Milan - Atletico Madrid 1.35
As unpredictable as these matchups can get, AC Milan have been terrible this season, making this a "now or never" moment for Atletico Madrid to make a major leap.
Atletico are currently too good to be knocked out over two legs by a mediocre Milan side.

Galatasaray SK - Chelsea FC 1.20
Nothing is going to help an angry Turk crowd.
José Mourinho is a specialist in these types of games, and I believe he'll take full spoils right in the middle of the Istanbul madness.
There is just too big a gap in class here.

PAOK FC - SL Benfica 1.20
PAOK is a decent team, but SL Benfica has found their rhythm lately, taking over the top of their domestic league, and a steady progression is expected as they aim far into the Europa League.

Cherno - Odessa - Olympique Lyonnais 1.35
Olympique Lyonnais have stabilized, they are playing well, and they are heavy favorites against a mediocre Ukrainian team.
It could be tough, but I believe in a routine advancement over the two legs.
Following a disastrous start to the season, this means a lot to them.

Total odds: 4.09

I'm looking at my next play for tomorrow. It’s a smaller stake, but honestly, I think the odds are pretty solid here.

Bayer Leverkusen vs PSG @2.40 and Over 2.5 goals + PSG win @4.30 (USA) (0-4)

The logic? Look, I know Leverkusen is a decent side, but they just don't have the tools to handle PSG. Plus, they just dropped points at home in the Bundesliga, so their confidence is likely shaky right now. PSG is basically a machine at this point—they play clinical football, and I can easily see them making a deep run into the semifinals. They'll probably try to kill this tie in the first leg entirely. It feels like a waste to pass up these odds.

17:15 Steaua București vs CFR Cluj – Tip 2: Away team fails to score (1.75) (2-0)

Steaua București is sitting pretty at the top of the table, and honestly, their defense is looking solid—they’ve only let in 12 goals over 18 matches. Plus, they are absolute monsters at home, conceding just 3 times in 8 games. On the flip side, you've got CFR Cluj languishing near the bottom of the standings, struggling to find any rhythm with only 4 goals scored in 8 away trips. I’m expecting Steaua București to completely dictate the tempo here—it feels like CFR Cluj won't even get a decent look at the goal.

Bayer Leverkusen vs PSG X 3.40 super tip USA, hl (0-4)

Games like this are tough to call, so I’m going for the high payout: a classic draw. When a tie feels like the most realistic outcome, I have to take it as a single. Props to PSG, but they’re just slight favorites to me tomorrow—nothing more. The Champions League and domestic leagues are two totally different beasts, so I wouldn't lean too heavily on league stats here. Bayer is sitting right behind the untouchable Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga, which says plenty about their quality. They’re playing at home, where Germans are known for being gritty and tough; they fight for every chance and play until the final whistle. I also don't think the Parisians will be sprinting like crazy; they have the second leg at home, and given the aggregate from the first match, they’d likely be happy with a draw. Looking at league form, the Pharmacists haven't been exactly spectacular lately. Then again, PSG hasn't been brilliant in their last three away trips either—they scraped a 1-2 win over Nantes, then drew with En Avant Guingamp and AS Monaco. If those teams could walk away with a point, surely Bayer can do it in front of their packed home crowd in this Champions League opener. Plus, they've only had one draw in 21 Bundesliga matches so far. They're due for one, and tomorrow feels like the perfect time.
Good luck, everyone!

Manchester City/FC Barcelona DA (1,55) (0-2)
The odds aren't exactly great for this kind of risk, but I went ahead and played it anyway. If Manchester City thinks they have a shot at advancing, they really need to step up today, and I suspect FC Barcelona will find a way to respond quickly. Also, if Manchester City manages to slip two past them—which should happen given how disastrous the FC Barcelona defense looks right now—they'll be forced to attack since being down by two at home doesn't leave much room for error. Either way, I guess this should be a high-scoring affair.

If City thinks they're moving on, they need to step up today—and if they do, FC Barcelona will have an immediate chance to respond via a quick counter. Plus, if City manages to tuck away two goals (which should happen, given how disastrously FC Barcelona's defense looks right now), Barca will be forced to chase the game since being down by two at home doesn't leave them much room for error. Either way, this should be a high-scoring affair...

If you aren't even sure FC Barcelona can find the net, yet you're convinced Manchester City can score twice, why not just bet on Manchester City to score over 1.5 goals? You'd get a much better return than this one. 🤷

Lionel Messi scores @ 2.00 lottery odds

The little "alien" is finally waking up—and honestly, FC Barcelona is going to be leaning on his goals more and more as this season drags on... I mean, scoring right now is absolutely massive, even if you lose a couple of minutes of clock time. And let’s be real, who else has a better shot at finding the back of the net than Messi? Even if it’s just a penalty, he's our guy.

13:00h FC Copenhagen-Vejle Boldklub over 2.5 goals 1.45 ; both teams to score 1.95 USA (3-1)

What can I even say about this parlay? To me, it’s a total lock. When it comes to the over, Copenhagen is basically one of the safest bets out there; they grind through tough competitive matches without blinking, so a friendly against Vejle Boldklub shouldn't be an issue—especially since Vejle tends to play in high-scoring affairs too. I just don't see this staying under. Honestly, I don't know what would have to happen for it to end up low-scoring. Expect open, attacking football that should easily net us 4 or 5 goals. I'm riding the Over 2.5 with a heavy stake; it's my pick of the day. I'll be a bit more cautious with the second option, though I think Vejle can and should find the back of the net. As for the home side scoring, I'm not worried at all. These guys live to fill the opponent's net, especially against sides like this. My top pick.
Good luck, everyone!

Atletico Madrid to score @ 1.30
Even though Atletico Madrid is the favorite today, I’m opting for something a bit more conservative than a straight win.

Clarence Seedorf has this lineup at his disposal:
Goalkeepers: Christian Abbiati; Marco Amelia; Ferdinando Coppola
Defenders: Ignazio Abate; Daniele Bonera; Kevin Constant; Mattia de Sciglio; Philippe Mexes; Cristian Zaccardo; Adil Rami
Midfielders: Nigel de Jong; Urby Emanuelson; Michael Essien; Kaká; Andrea Poli
Forwards: Mario Balotelli; Giampaolo Pazzini; Andrea Petagna; Adel Taarabt

If it weren't for the absence of Sulley Muntari, Iván Montolivo, Stephan El Shaarawy, and Robinho, I might actually have the nerve to bet on an away win of +0.5. Honestly, I don't think Seedorf is going to be reckless here; he clearly knows he doesn't have the personnel to outplay Atletico, so I expect him to settle for a defensive setup focused on counter-attacks.

Diego Simeone is preaching caution and concentration. He’s also claiming there are no favorites today, but my gut tells me that Diego Costa, Diego, Coca-Cola, and the rest will look to exploit the current vulnerabilities in the AC Milan squad.

The odds aren't massive, but then again, this isn't exactly an easy match to call.

Jeremy King4 said:1:00 PM FC Copenhagen vs Vejle Boldklub, Over 2.5 goals at 1.45; Away +3 at 1.95 USA

What is there left to say about this parlay? To my mind, it falls squarely into the category of a classic "sure thing." When it comes to hitting the over, Copenhagen is easily one of the most reliable options out there; they endure relentless pressure even in high-stakes matches, so I can't imagine them playing conservatively in a friendly—especially against a side like Vejle, who also tends to be involved in high-scoring affairs. I simply cannot envision this match ending under; frankly, I don't know what would have to go wrong for that to happen. We should expect open, attacking football here that will likely yield at least four or five goals. I’ll be taking the Over 2.5 with a heavy stake; for me, this is the lock of the day. As for the second option, I’ll approach it with more caution, though I suspect Vejle is capable of finding the back of the net and arguably should. I am not the slightest bit concerned about the home side scoring; they are the type of squad that consistently fills the opponent's net, particularly against opponents of this caliber. This is my pick of the day.
Good luck to everyone!

http://www.vejle-boldklub.dk/index.p...er&newsId=6743
So, looking at the situation... Vejle only has 12 players available plus two goalkeepers, and they've added three youngsters to the mix.
Nicolai Agger (att 17/4), Kaamer Saag (att 4/1), Henrik Bødker (mf 16/1), João Pereira (df 12/0), Daniel Norouzi (df 12/0), Jacob ”Taz” Sørensen (mf 15/0), and Niels Bisp Rasmussen (df 8/0) are all sidelined with injuries.
Furthermore, Aafjes (df 7/0), Toft (att 6/0), and their key midfielder Busuladzic (mf 16/1) have departed the club.
For Copenhagen, this is their final pre-season test, so realistically, they should field their strongest lineup initially before making substitutions later on. The visitors haven't started their league season yet, but they don't have much room for maneuver given how difficult it's been just to assemble a decent squad.
I agree with you on the over, but I wouldn't touch the Away +3, even if those kinds of scores occasionally pop up in friendlies.
This could easily turn into a blowout, so I'm leaning toward taking Copenhagen [0:1] - Vejle Boldklub 1 at 1.80. Just my two cents.

Best of luck to us all.🙂

Arsenal vs. Bayern Munich: Both teams to score in both halves - YES @ 1.45

I’m not sure what there is left to say about the lineups when we basically know everything there is to know about these two sides. This time last year, Bayern walked away with a 3-1 win, where both halves ended up seeing two goals apiece. Personally, I think Arsène Wenger will be playing a much smarter tactical game today against a powerhouse like Bayern Munich. Flamini should be useful defensively, though he'll probably pick up a yellow card just for being himself. It’s a shame Aaron Ramsey isn't in the mix, but my money is mostly on Santi Cazorla and Tomas Rosicky—though I suspect Mesut Özil might just stick to his usual "flop" routine. And I can only hope that the unreliable Olivier Giroud has finally gotten his head straight and won't be distracted by anything other than the pitch today.
Like I mentioned before, I really believe Wenger will be more tactically disciplined than he was last year, so I don't see them conceding three goals this time around.
As for Bayern Munich, Pep Guardiola essentially has whatever he wants at his disposal. However, if he decides to play Mario Götze as a false nine instead of Mario Mandžukić, he’s being an idiot, because Laurent Koscielny is going to absolutely eat him alive. Arjen Robben remains a constant threat with that relentless pace; they're likely the favorites to take it all.

I'm just hoping for a better quality match than that mess between Manchester City and FC Barcelona.

+experiment - Both teams to score in the 1st half - YES @ 3.60
+experiment - Total yellow cards over 4.5 - YES @ 1.80 (there were 8 of them last year)

Aafjes (df 7/0), Toft (att 6/0), and their main man in midfield, Busuladzic (mf 16/1), have left the club.
This is Copenhagen's last preseason match, so they should realistically run their strongest lineup first and sub later. The league hasn't even started for the visitors yet, but they can't really rotate much when they're struggling just to field a decent squad.
I'm with you on the over, though I wouldn't touch the over 2.5 given how weird friendlies can be.
Honestly, this could be a blowout, so I'm taking Copenhagen [0:1] - Vejle Boldklub 1 @1.80.

Didn't realize that. Makes the over look even safer, maybe even some extra goals there..
Thanks for the heads up!
