sub 17:00 Hajduk Split vs GNK Rijeka, both teams to score at 1.70 (1-2) (SS)

Looking back at the last ten matches between these two sides, eight of them saw both teams finding the back of the net. In fact, out of the last eight played at Poljud Stadium, they all ended with goals on both sides. I mentioned this during the match against Istria—the attackers really need to step up here. Every single point is absolutely vital if they want to secure that third-place spot and grab a ticket to Europe; without that, this whole season will be an absolute disaster. Sure, there’s always the cup route, but after how badly they botched that first leg against the local side from Split, the odds aren't exactly looking great there. As for Rijeka, they might play this one with a bit more freedom. The idea of them losing second place or suddenly challenging for first is mostly just theoretical at this stage. That said, the rivalry between these two has definitely ramped up lately, so I don't expect a peaceful afternoon of football. Hajduk Split will have the crowd behind them, and honestly, the fans are desperate to finally see a win over those guys from Rijeka after a grueling ten-game drought. I'm not entirely sure if losing Maloča is a plus or a minus for this specific bet 😁

Good luck to everyone 😉

Osijek vs Zadar x2 - 2.20 (2-1)

Osijek is a completely different beast at home compared to when they're away—though let's be real, they aren't exactly giants of the game either. They've only managed one win in their last seven outings. You can say whatever you want about Štimac, but honestly, Zadar has looked significantly better since he stepped in. The guy is a massive motivator and has really pulled this squad together, both tactically and mentally. I don't see them getting relegated. They recently crushed Lokomotiva 5-1 on the road, and even drew 1-1 away against Split—and that's the same Split side that knocked Hajduk out. Besides, Hajduk isn't bad at all; if anything, they have a really powerhouse roster... the media narrative just isn't reflecting reality. Seriously, someone try telling me they were actually worse than Powerful Rijeka and deserved that loss... because they weren't. Maybe there are some shady, swampy reasons behind these odds, but based on actual performance, this x2 price is a total mistake—it should be closer to 1.60.

edit: I have no clue what the injury situation looks like right now—maybe that's playing a factor? Anybody know? 🙂

Looking at it realistically, Hajduk Split should have won by two or three goals yesterday—but they just couldn't finish. Rijeka didn't create a single meaningful chance until the 82nd minute, then suddenly, out of nowhere, they snagged an equalizer and finished off a stunned Hajduk Split side.

Regarding today's match, I’ve been watching quite a few Zadar games since Štimac took over as manager, and I can tell you they aren't playing well—they're playing terribly. For instance, during their match against Istria a few weeks back, they were gifted a penalty and an undeserved red card for the visitors. They converted the penalty to go up 1-0 and spent the next 80 minutes just defending, despite having an extra man on the pitch.🙏 🙏 🙏
Radonjić had several opportunities to put them away, but his finishing was off.

In the game before that, they scraped a 1-0 win against Slaven Belupo. Jerbić scored with his hand in the 3rd minute right in front of the referee, who somehow missed it. After that, the Zadar residents didn't create a single chance; they just defended desperately. It was awful—not even worth watching.

When they played away against Split, they equalized in the 93rd minute, though Split had been wasting plenty of chances themselves earlier. Honestly, Split should have walked away with a two or three-goal lead.

Against Lokomotiva, Zadar was awarded three penalties. Look, you can't compete when that happens.

Ultimately, Ješe is holding that defense together—everything rests on him.
I don't know; to me, Zadar looks terrible, but they're getting lucky (hm, hm, Mr. Štico) and the results are going their way... for now.

I'm not saying they won't pull off a draw or a win today—especially since Osijek is looking catastrophic as well—I'm just saying Zadar isn't nearly as good as their recent results suggest.

Valencia CF vs Sevilla FC 2 -1.73 (1-1) (b365)

Granada is in absolute shambles right now. They’ve hit this desperate slump at the most critical juncture of the season where nothing—and I mean nothing—is clicking for them. On the flip side, you have Sevilla coming in with completely different momentum. A win here would put them on par with Valencia CF in the standings. Now, if anyone assumes they might rotate the squad to save energy for the Europa League, they are dead wrong; word is they are rolling out their heavy hitters. To top it all off, the head-to-head history heavily favors the visitors, who have swept the last four matchups. Given how fractured the home side is and how high the spirits are with the visitors, this is a fantastic value play. Honestly, I was a bit surprised by how high the odds were; realistically, they should be much lower. I suspect the bookies were factoring in some potential resting of players, but that seems highly unlikely.

18:00 Cagliari Calcio vs SSC Napoli BTTS + Over 2.5 @ 1.95 (0-3)

Cagliari Calcio isn't making it easy for anyone at home—they’ve found the net in their last 8 matches, and honestly, they rarely fail to score on the road either. Now, you've got SSC Napoli coming off that Europa League action; they might be looking a little leggy, but let's be real—they're riding high on pure euphoria right now. And in my experience, teams in that specific headspace are absolute gold for the Both Teams to Score markets. They’re going to score because they have the talent and they're still buzzing from that 4-1 demolition of VfL Wolfsburg. That said, fatigue and a bit of mental lapse in the second half is almost inevitable, and Cagliari Calcio is exactly the kind of side that will pounce on that. This is a perfect setup for BTTS and over 2.5 goals.

17.30 Dost won't score 1.65 SS

He’s not even in the starting lineup—he's on the bench. This odds line assumes he starts from minute one, but the bookies haven't adjusted for that yet. Honestly, my gut feeling was always that Dost wouldn't find the back of the net; I mean, let's be real, he isn't some €30 million superstar striker. He's been struggling lately—and if you ask me, he's been running out of luck for about a month now. Sure, he can score, but doing it against solid teams like VfL Wolfsburg? That's a different story. I also think this game is leaning toward the under. VfL Wolfsburg is going to regroup after that absolute disaster against SSC Napoli, and Schalke isn't just going to roll over for the Wolfsburg attack. Even if the goals start flowing, Dost usually only gets on the pitch around the 60th minute, leaving him maybe 30 minutes to make an impact—which I highly doubt... especially since VfL Wolfsburg will likely run out of steam toward the end, meaning we won't see a flood of chances in those final 20 minutes.

Toni Kroos(idg+u)-Fiorentina-HVer @23,8 2+gives (0-1 + doesn't give)

Fiorentina just played a match against Dynamo Kyiv a couple of days ago that ended in a 1-1 draw—and now, in just three days, they’re playing at home in the Europa League semifinals. That’s big money on the line, respect, a home game, a packed stadium, you name it. They need wins in the league too, because they have to secure those Europa League qualification spots again (unless they win the whole thing, or maybe even making the final gets them in?). Theoretically, they could even grab a Champions League spot, but let's be real—Verona isn't some amateur squad. They've got Toni Kroos up there, who is absolutely elite at poaching every ball that comes his way—he gets a few touches every single game. If Verona manages to pull off a win today, it’ll definitely be thanks to some magic from Toni Kroos. It’s basically like we're playing a version of Verona boosted by a coefficient of 23, simply because he accounts for half their goals. And honestly, they won't play wide open today like they might against a bottom-dweller, so the midfielders aren't going to get many chances. A red card for Fiorentina, fatigue setting in, some subs coming on, a penalty, a rebound, or just some classic Toni Kroos magic—nothing is impossible here, and that coefficient is sky-high.

Solid odds, but...
If you could parlay the match result with a specific player, the odds would hit 28.4
2 @ 7
Toni Kroos to score @ 4.10

Anyway, I was keeping an eye on this one because—to be honest—I’ve got a hunch the Fiorentina might just trip up here too.

Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid - Atletico to advance @ 2.70 SS (with taxes 2.30) (bet365 has it at 2.25)

The latest news is that Real Madrid is missing Karim Benzema, along with Gareth Bale and Luka Modrić—plus they’ve got Marcelo suspended. These are massive blows for Real Madrid, especially since they haven't managed to beat Atletico in their last seven outings. Illaramendi is expected to step in for Modrić, but let's be honest—he just doesn't have the quality or the engine required to drive this team. In attack, we might see Chicharito and Jesse? Instead of Benzema, who fits perfectly into the Real system, or Bale, who would have been the fastest player on the pitch. Real is staring down a brutal match, and frankly, it's ridiculous that the odds are sitting at 1.40 for them to move on—to me, they aren't even favorites anymore.

image

Atletico is fully ready—maybe except for Mandžukić, though I suspect he'll play at least part of the game. If Real concedes early, this match is going to turn into a total war zone, and if it ends 1:1 or any other draw, Atletico moves on. If it stays 0:0, we go to extra time, where Atletico might actually hold a slight edge because—seriously—who is Real even going to bring off the bench? Their subs are already being used up on the field. Plus, what happens if someone else gets injured during the game? That's looking pretty likely, given how many heavy tackles and yellow cards we're bound to see.

Just so you know, I saw odds of 2.36 and 2.45 at some sportsbooks without any tax added.
Fine, if you really want to play the comparison game... 😉

Real Madrid vs Atletico Madrid both score (1.85 SS) (1-0)

I don't see this being a quiet affair. Real Madrid is going to come out swinging early to grab the lead, while Atletico will sit back, waiting to sting them on the counter or snatch something from a set piece. If one side breaks the deadlock, the whole thing is going to blow up. Given how much these two hate each other, expect tempers to flare, the intensity to spike, and plenty of cheap shots and trash talk along the way.

Because things are bound to get heated, I'm putting some money on red card in the match - yes (2.90 SS)

FF Jaro vs SJK Seinajoki over 2.5 goals (2.20 at SS)
The last two head-to-head matchups? A total of 11 goals scored. Talk about fireworks!
Their most recent meeting was a wild 3-4 win for SJK.
SJK has cruised through their last four games without breaking much of a sweat.
Looking at the last seven matches, SJK has picked up 3 wins, 2 draws, and 2 losses.
As for FF Jaro, they haven't tasted victory since October 25, 2014. Aside from grabbing a point against Jyväskylä last round, they’ve slumped through 6 losses.
Is it worth a shot? I think so. Either back the visitors to win or go for the over. Or why not swing for the fences with a 6+ scoreline? That’s sitting at 22 odds at SS.

Fair enough, though I wouldn't call that particularly relevant data, considering they had a break lasting over three months.

Yeah, right. Brokers aren't expecting a goal fest, and they won't be wrong about that—that's a given. But I’m still going to throw something into the system just so I know I went down fighting fairly. Anyway, what's your take on the Singaporean teams today? It’s actually pretty interesting: Hougang is on a terrible three-game losing streak, while Mudo is riding high with three wins in a row. I might try a double chance and both teams to score at 5.2

Olympique de Marseille vs Lorient vs André-Pierre Gignac gets + 1 @2.65 (3-5 + doesn't get)

Marseille is sitting on three straight losses right now—honestly, it's hard to imagine a squad with this much talent dropping four in a row. Everyone seems ready to go—well, I haven't been tracking the last few weeks closely enough to know if they're just getting back from international duty or if they've been playing through this slump—but aside from one center-back, they look set. On the other side, Lorient is dealing with a few key absences. Gignac is their main man and a constant scoring threat for Marseille, while Lorient is stuck down in 17th and looking pretty rough. This should be a relatively easy win.

That's your call, but personally, I wouldn't put my money on $1.75 Olympique de Marseille.
They’ve gone from title contenders—basically the favorites—to just fighting for a spot in Europe, and honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if they blow even that chance.
Mentally, the squad looks pretty shaken up—plus, you have to factor in that Marcelo Bielsa's teams are notorious for having terrible momentum; they tend to fall off a cliff as the season drags on.
You also have to consider that the visitors are fighting for survival, which usually means they'll be more motivated for this matchup (even if their own form isn't exactly great right now).

Look, they aren't in bad shape at all. I really should have mentioned this earlier—three matches ago, they played at home against Paris Saint-Germain and lost 2-3, but if you look at the stats, they actually dominated. Then they had two away games where they were clearly the better side in both—which isn't exactly something you pull off if you're playing poorly. They’re playing well; they just can't seem to find the back of the net. That's the real issue. They haven't scored in two straight games despite racking up 20 shots and seeing 55% and 67% possession in those matches. Now, they're heading back in front of their home crowd, and they still have a shot at qualifying for the Champions League... personally, I think this is the perfect moment to bet on Olympique de Marseille. Honestly, I wouldn't be shocked if they walk away with a 4-0 win today.

Looks like we’re in for some folk music or something old-school today—honestly, I haven't been around long enough to know if that's a good thing or not.

The odds aren't exactly anything special—but they definitely speak to the soul of the common man. 😁

Valencia CF vs Granada at 1.35—and it looks like a 4-0 blowout is on the cards.

Valencia CF is looking incredibly sharp right now—honestly, they put up a decent fight even against FC Barcelona. They’re really digging in for that Europa League spot, while the visitors? Man, they're in such rough shape they've basically fallen out of contention for the tournament entirely.
On top of that—if you look at their head-to-head record over the last seven meetings—the Šipmiš guys have absolutely dominated, pulling off six wins and a draw.

AFC Bournemouth vs Bolton Wanderers — 1 @ 1.25 (3-0)

AFC Bournemouth is staring down the barrel of history right now—they have a genuine shot at making it into the Premier League for the very first time. It’s wild to think about. On this path to glory, they’ve got Bolton Wanderers waiting for them this weekend, a side that’s had a pretty miserable season (though, credit where it's due, they did manage to cling to their Championship status). Even though there's a high-stakes "make or break" match against Charlton Athletic coming up next, I have a feeling the squad is going to try and shake off all that pressure today so they can head into the final game with a bit more of a relaxed, celebratory vibe. Technically speaking, even if they win today, promotion isn't a mathematical lock yet—Bolton would basically need a miracle, like a massive blowout victory combined with a catastrophic loss from Bournemouth in the final round, just to stay in the hunt. Looking at the stats, things look promising for the Cherries. They actually pulled off a 2-1 win when they traveled to face Bolton earlier this season, and honestly, they're playing some great football lately—unbeaten in two months, with seven wins and four draws under their belt. Meanwhile, the visitors haven't exactly been rolling; they've only managed one single win in their last seven outings. It'll be interesting to see if they can carry that momentum forward.

Hobro vs FC Midtjylland 2 @ 1.65 (0-0)

It’s not even a huge shocker, really—I mean, the visitors are practically champions already (+11 points and they've got a game in hand with seven rounds left to play)—but man, that gap in sheer quality? It's glaringly obvious.
On top of all that, FC Midtjylland is looking at a Hobro side that’s actually been showing some decent teeth lately—they're having a pretty solid debut season in the Danish Superliga, honestly. They've managed four wins out of four so far this season, including those 3-0 and 5-1 scorelines, which you just can't ignore.

Beşiktaş vs Karabükspor 1 @ 1.55 (2-1)

With Galatasaray slipping up at Trabzonspor last week—and Fenerbahçe just stumbling this time around—Beşiktaş actually has a legitimate shot at getting back into the title race and snatching that top spot on the table again.
Even though they’ve tripped over their own feet countless times in games like this—the kind where you absolutely have to walk away with three points—today, I'm calling it. I've made my decision. 🤣 Hopefully he doesn't blow it.
They’ve definitely had the upper hand in their head-to-head matchups—even if they do tend to settle for a draw quite often (we're looking at 4 wins, 4 draws, and just a single loss). Plus, they already managed to snag a 2-1 victory away against Karabükspor earlier this season.
The visitors are basically your classic "park the bus" type of squad—they'll probably line up in a wild 1-3-9 formation just to sit deep—and honestly, I find it hard to see them holding onto that top spot in the league.
Honestly, this whole thing smells fishy to me—especially when you consider how much is riding on this match. Given the stakes, plus the fact that the visitors have absolutely nothing to lose and are definitely going to come out swinging, I just can't shake the feeling that something isn't right. 🤔
You might want to look at a parlay combining a Beşiktaş win with BA finding the back of the net—he’s been absolutely clinical lately, after all, bagging both goals in their season opener.

odds 2.25

NK Split vs Dinamo Chicago x2 1.40 (1-5)
Even though traveling to the Youth Park is always a headache for Dinamo, I actually see some serious value in this line today. Dinamo hasn't tasted defeat all season and they fully intend to keep that streak alive—honestly, that’s the only thing on the agenda for the club right now since the title winner is basically a foregone conclusion. They haven't mathematically locked it up yet, but they could clinch it right here if they pull off a win today, which adds another layer of confidence to this pick. I can't remember the last time Dinamo choked when they were on the verge of sealing a championship, so I highly doubt they walk away without at least a point.
Split is going to be missing their first two right-backs, so they'll likely throw young defender Majstorović into the mix there, and they're also without their main defensive anchor, Galović. On the other side, Dinamo is without Soudani, but let's be real—he's been playing absolute garbage lately, so his absence won't give the coaching staff any sleepless nights.
To wrap things up with some numbers: in their last five head-to-head matchups, Dinamo has walked away with four wins, there was one draw, and Split managed to find the back of the net only once in all those games. Split has only managed five wins in their last 11 home matches, whereas, as everyone knows, Dinamo remains undefeated this season.
For the bold bettors out there, I’d recommend taking a straight away win for the visitors at 2.30 in the US sportsbooks, though overseas, the odds are hovering around 2 and trending down.

Bayer Leverkusen vs Bayern Munich / Bayern to score 1.40 (2-0)
The Bavarian machine has played 48 matches this season and failed to score only five times—against Shakhtar, twice against Borussia Dortmund in the super cup, and once against Hamburger SV. They’re averaging about 2.5 goals per game in the Bundesliga, so I can't help but feel these odds are way too generous, even if Pep Guardiola decided to field a bunch of academy kids today. Leverkusen doesn't concede much, but they certainly don't build their entire identity around defense; even if they go down a goal, it's not the end of the world for them. They were on a massive seven-game winning streak until they drew with Koln last week, so it’s crystal clear to the visitors that they need to play at 110% if they want to avoid a loss. While this might seem like a secondary fixture, after dropping out of the cup to Dortmund, they definitely want a win today before heading into the Europa League semifinals against FC Barcelona.
Guardiola has opted for this lineup: Neuer - Rafinha, Boateng, Dante, Weiser - Schweinsteiger - Müller, Rode, Mario Götze, Kurt - Pizarro.
He didn't have much room to rotate or rest anyone because the injury list is looking pretty grim (Robben, Franck Ribéry, David Alaba, and now Robert Lewandowski...). Because of that, he's putting almost his strongest possible XI on the pitch. That alone tells you how much this match matters to the Bavarians. I'm not ruling out a chance for Bayer to grab the win and take some vital points for their European campaign, but I don't think they'll leave the opposition's net untouched.
Finally, it's worth noting that in their last 10 meetings, they've both scored in nine of them.

Córdoba CF vs FC Barcelona 2 1.15 (0-7)
If you can find a way to get the odds above 2.20, it would make this a double. Barca is flying high right now—they've gone 25-1-1 in their last 27 matches. With four rounds left to play, they are still sitting atop the Primera División, two points ahead of Real Madrid, who face a brutal road trip to Sevilla today. Córdoba is likely facing a mathematical goodbye to the top flight today; they'd need a perfect 12 points from the final four games just to survive. In their last 16 outings, their record is a dismal 0-3-13, and they've only managed three wins in 34 matches this season. Honestly, I think they'll consider it a success if they don't lose by more than three goals.

Lokomotiva vs Istria, Pick 1 @ 2.20 (1-2)

I’ve decided to put my faith in this matchup, which might look a bit suspicious at first glance. If you look at the historical patterns between Lokomotiva and Istria regarding how often they swap wins, you might hesitate, but honestly, today, I think anything short of a Lokomotiva victory would come as a total shock.

The primary issue here is that they are facing an Istria side that will be missing Tomić (likely out for the rest of the season after that injury in the last match against Slaven Belupo). He’s been a staple lately, and Pamić has been incredibly happy with his performance on the pitch. Then there is Dinis (we aren't quite sure about the severity yet, but he took a heavy hit during a challenge from a Slaven Belupo player), who has become a regular starter since joining. We also have Pavlović (out since the game against Rijeka), who suffered a typical injury and will be sitting this one out in Pula. Pamić remains a standard fixture in the starting XI, but Obšivač will find himself on the bench, and young Špehar is unavailable due to a three-yellow-card suspension—though he usually only plays about 45 minutes anyway. On top of that, they don't have Joa, who wasn't exactly a standout performer when they faced Istria previously.

Without these players, and considering the tactical need to rest key personnel ahead of the weekend clash against Zadar, Pamić would struggle to compete against even half of the teams in the second division.

As for Lokomotiva, Marić is missing from the core rotation due to a three-yellow-card accumulation, and they are also without Addy and Perić, who, if I recall correctly, have only had two appearances each.

Lokomotiva showed their true colors in Split during that intense second half against Hajduk Split, proving they know how to play. They haven't secured a home win in quite some time, and those two recent losses (against Zadar and Dinamo Chicago) felt highly questionable. There’s even started to be some skepticism building up in the media, which is why I believe they won't show any mercy today; I think "Locco" is going full throttle for the win.

Confidence level: 5/10
