Savannah vs. Tulsa: Over 2.5 goals @ 1.80 Bet365

They’re playing two 60-minute halves—an extra 30 minutes of play compared to the standard—so the chances for an over are higher.
Plus, there’s a heavy wind blowing through; that usually leads to defensive lapses.

21.7 20.30 Los Angeles Dodgers-Atlanta Braves 2.70 f +2

I’m calling this one a gift, just like every single year. It was the first away game of the season for the Dodgers, and they looked absolutely pathetic—but honestly, those Americans were even worse. They conceded two goals thanks to two incredibly stupid defensive blunders, but it didn't matter—they bounced back, scored twice in the second half, and were clearly the better side throughout the match. Look at the stats: 16 shots to 9, and 11 corners to 1 for the Dodgers. Deep in the heart of America, without Sušić and Kalinić (one of them is partly to blame for the goal, plus Stipica is probably three times worse than Kalinić), you still have two of the best players alongside Vlašić. Without Sušić, it was painfully obvious there was nobody to actually lead the team—no one to pass to, no one to hold onto the ball, and no one to drive the play when needed. Ohandza is back after an 11-month hiatus, and after being on for just three minutes in the second half, he already found the back of the net. He’s clearly not at 90-minute fitness yet, but he’ll likely start from the opening whistle and play at least until the 60th minute at our home stadium... in those 60 minutes, I expect him to bag at least one more goal. The guy is an absolute beast. Historically, the Dodgers play miserably in the 2nd or 3rd qualifying rounds while traveling to places like Georgia, Kazakhstan, or America, only to come home to a packed stadium and absolutely demolish the opponent. And predictably, the "experts" always show up to claim we're doomed because they watched this one single game and think the Dodgers are hopeless. This is at least a 3:0 win—it's a total handout from the bookies. Two years ago, they lost 4:2 to Karagandy but won 3:0 at home, and it could have been much higher. Last year, they lost 3:2 away to Kopra but won 4:1 at home, and again, it could have been more.

17:30 VIFK - Narpes Kraft
over 3,5@2,10 bet365 / DraftKings / FanDuel
over 2,5@1,45 BetMGM

I've got my eye on this matchup in the US lower leagues, 6th vs 9th on the table. Honestly, the standings don't even matter here. Look at the stats: VIFK has gone over 2.5 goals in 10 out of their 11 games this season, and Kraft hit that mark in 9 out of 11 too.
image
As you can see from the screenshot above, their last meeting was a total dud with only one goal scored. But today? I'm betting they finally snap out of it and deliver a massive shootout during those 90 minutes.

23.7 20:30 Honvéd FC-Ferencvaros 1X @ 1.80

Look, Honvéd is a seriously tough squad to deal with on their own turf—they almost never lose at home. Last season, they only dropped four games at home, and even then, all four were narrow misses—just 0-1 or 1-2. They haven't lost to Ferencvaros lately, though they did stumble against Újpest—but wait, they just went out and crushed Újpest on the road 2-0 a few days ago. That tells me everything you need to know: they aren't getting any weaker this season; if anything, they’re looking even sharper. The real kicker here? Ferencvaros is currently grinding through Champions League qualifying. Playing 120 minutes of high-stakes soccer is going to absolutely wreck them—especially since they have to turn around and face Honvéd this Saturday. We're still in that messy part of the season where nobody's physical conditioning is at its peak yet. Expect those odds to dip tomorrow as people catch on.

Hajduk-CSMS Iasi under 2.5 at 1.88 on Pinnacle (2-1)

Honestly, Hajduk was hanging by a thread in Romania after the first half. They surrendered two goals thanks to two massive, cardinal blunders from their defenders, while the Romanians missed several golden opportunities that made it look like Hajduk wouldn't make it out alive. In the second half, Ohandza actually looked decent upfront, but luck just wasn't on their side when it came to finding a late equalizer in the dying seconds. That final 2-2 scoreline was something nobody saw coming, especially since both sides are pretty offensively limited, and the Romanians are naturally more defensively minded anyway. We had the under sitting around 1.45 back then, but then the unexpected happened and the floodgates opened for four total goals.
That’s just how betting goes sometimes—exceptions prove the rule, and that’s exactly what that first match was. So, what changes now? Hajduk has put themselves in a position where they can advance with either a 0-0 or a 1-1 draw, so even though Pušnik is talking up an attacking style, I think they’re going to play extremely cautious today, especially given those embarrassing mistakes they made in Romania. They are slightly stronger moving forward now (with Sušić returning), but the visitors are absolute masters at playing away from home. Last season, they went through an incredible 8-month stretch without a single loss on the road! They’ll likely park the bus here and look to catch us on the counter, and against a Hajduk side playing this way, I truly believe they can hold their own defensively. A huge bonus is the trashed pitch left behind by the ultra fans over the weekend; there won't be much room for fancy tactical combinations, which aren't exactly the forte of either team anyway.
Last season, the Romanians played 42 matches and only 14 of them ended in the over, while Hajduk played unders in all four of their preseason games and their match against Cibalia last weekend. Given these conditions, I think it's worth taking the odds for the under even if they're 0.5 higher than they were in the first leg.

I don't know—I'm leaning toward the over in this one.
Hajduk's defense is struggling significantly, though their attack definitely has the quality to find the net.
A 2-2 scoreline would be a fair result for both sides, and it's a solid outcome for those betting on the over.
In my view, if we see just one goal in the first half, the over becomes a very attractive play.

I find myself in complete agreement with James Taylor3. In my estimation, we’re looking at an over of 2.5 goals here. The defensive displays haven't been anything to write home about, and it was painfully obvious just how shaky that Romanian goalkeeper really is. With Kalinić no longer guarding the net for Hajduk Split, they lack that veteran stability. Even if the Romanians are considered the underdogs, a result like this isn't what they're looking for after that first match. Expect the Torcida faithful to be demanding an aggressive, attacking style from Hajduk Split. All things considered, an over of 2.5 is a safe bet, much like any other ticket I put together. 😉

I feel like I’ve already beaten this drum somewhere else, but here we go again—you can't build a solid parlay on Hajduk's defense. It's just too shaky. Honestly, it doesn't even matter how weak or limited the opponent's attack looks on paper. One single corner kick or a stray free kick landing right in that cross-delivery zone and everything falls apart...

Look, there are definitely issues here, but let's be real—this isn't Atletico Madrid, so they don't have that legendary, hyper-focused defense everyone keeps talking about. lol. I think Hajduk Split is going to bury these guys by at least two goals, though honestly? I’m expecting three...

I'm sticking with the f2 bet. Even if Hajduk Split ends up conceding a goal, I still think we're walking away with the win.

Rijeka is playing tomorrow around 5:00, and the odds are sitting at about 2.3 for an outright win. Honestly, they don't look much worse than the Turkish side. What are your thoughts? 🤔

I don't know much about Turkish clubs, but Rijeka looks solid. The squad is basically the same as last season, so they've got that chemistry down. Plus, they're match-fit while the Turkish league hasn't even kicked off yet. The guys from Rijeka are definitely coming out to hunt for a win here.

I think there's some value in backing Rijeka at 1.60.
If you're feeling a bit more daring, maybe take the double chance (X2) at 2.00.

I honestly cannot begin to fathom what the spread might look like for this matchup. To be frank, I’ll likely skip the action entirely, though if I were forced to place a wager, I’d put my money on the underdog. The Turkish side is formidable, especially considering they’re playing on home turf. The Yankees have quite the uphill battle ahead of them here; I’d say there's a high probability they concede a goal, though even a loss wouldn't catch me off guard. Similarly, the Red Sox are facing a tough opponent... I'd lean toward them conceding as well.

Oleksandrija vs. Hajduk | Over 2.5 goals @ 2.15 | Over 2.5 & BTTS @ 2.75 | SS (0-3)

I’m putting my money on this one. It might sound crazy to some, but there’s logic here. Look, the coach’s whole philosophy is basically "just outscore them," and honestly, Hajduk doesn't have much of a choice. They don't have the roster to sit back and park the bus. Even though people tend to view these Ukrainian clubs as defensive specialists who just grind out results, they really struggle when they run into an aggressive, high-pressing side. That’s exactly what Hajduk brings to the table, which should open up plenty of gaps. But here’s the kicker: when you play an attacking style—or at least try to—you leave yourself wide open. And judging by how shaky the Hajduk defense has looked over their last three official matches, I wouldn't bet my life on them keeping a clean sheet for a full 90 minutes.

We’ve got three of our guys playing in the Europa League tonight, and honestly, the odds look pretty juicy.

The coach made it clear right after Thursday's match that he’s gonna rotate some players. Since they're facing a much smaller club, you could probably scrape a result even if they played them straight up, but given how much the Seattle Sounders are struggling lately, it feels smartest to play it safe and bet on a low-scoring affair.

As for the Red Bulls, they basically locked in their advancement in the first leg. I don't care what kind of miracle happens, they aren't blowing this one. They have zero reason to hold anything back, especially since they're facing an Atlanta United side that's currently in a total freefall. Plus, the Red Bulls are riding a massive wave of momentum right now. A win today keeps the hype alive, which is crucial for filling up the stands during these next three home games over the next ten days—the rematch against the Ukrainians and those big domestic matchups against Seattle and NYCFC. It’s huge to grab all 9 points before we deal with NYCFC, because after that, we've got Portland and Philly coming up, plus the EL qualifying rounds. By the end of August, we'll know if this season is actually going anywhere. Also, worth noting: Atlanta hasn't scored against the Red Bulls in their last five meetings.

The real head-scratcher is the game in Portland. The Timbers are hosting what's left of the Galaxy. The Galaxy lost a bunch of talent over the summer, but somehow they've started the season looking incredible. Since they pulled off a decent result over in Turkey that keeps them firmly in the hunt for advancement, it’s totally logical to expect the manager to rest a starter. But even if he doesn't, keep in mind that the Galaxy rarely walks away with points in Portland, even when the Timbers were significantly weaker than they are now—they’ve only managed two wins in their last 12 trips there, with seven of those ending in a draw.

Bottom line:

Seattle vs. Locomotive Under 2.5 @ 1.90 (1-1)
Portland vs. Galaxy 1X @ 1.60 (0-1)
Atlanta vs. Red Bulls 2 @ 2.30 (0-1)
Atlanta fails to score @ 2.30 at all major sportsbooks.

So... how does the saying go? Real leaders don't say "Follow me!", they say "Follow my lead!" ☕

US Soccer Pro League, 08/20 8:00 PM
New York City FC - LA Galaxy
NYCFC Over 2.5 goals @1.90 Parlay (4-1)
8/10 unit stake

NYCFC came out swinging this season: 4-0-0 with a massive 14:3 goal differential.
LA Galaxy is sitting at 2-0-2 with a dead even 6:6 split, though you gotta note their only away win was against the LAFC, 2-1.
NYCFC is just on another level compared to the rest of the league this year; they’re looking like absolute title favorites.
Teams like Seattle, Portland, and LAFC all dropped three goals, while Austin managed to put up five.
The Galaxy coach is still obsessed with that run & gun style, so expect another shootout tonight.
Last season, NYCFC dropped three goals in every single matchup against them, and LA Galaxy surrendered four in one. Only one of those games even stayed under 3.5 total goals.

BONUS BETS
Over 3.5 @ 1.97 Pinnacle
NYCFC and Over 3.5 @ 2.00 Bet365 (for the gamblers who think 1.97 isn't enough)

In an attempt to fix this damn PDF—which has been basically circling the drain and making zero sense for the last six months to a year—I’ve decided (with some help from the legendary Bryan Adams6) to roll out a system for marking pairs as red or green and calculating every single member's individual ROI. My hope is that this actually sparks some real interest in you people to start writing high-quality analyses that provide actual value to anyone reading this document. Of course, to stop this from becoming a total circus, we need some ground rules regarding how you post these pairs, which I’m laying out below.

1. Any pairs posted without an analysis WILL BE DELETED without hesitation (and honestly, just screw ☕ them). An "analysis" isn't just two lazy, half-assed sentences thrown together to meet a requirement; it needs to include basic info on what drew you to the bet and something compelling enough to make another user actually want to copy your play. If nobody bothers to follow your lead, then there’s really no point in you posting anything here at all.

2. We are stripping out any plays from those "soft" sportsbooks or those with tiny limits.
Regarding domestic sportsbooks, we’re looking at DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, and potentially Caesars if there's a specific case involving basketball or handball. When I calculate your ROI, I’ll be factoring in the vig and taxes, so use your heads and pay attention to which odds actually net you more profit.
For offshore/international books, we’ll be using Bet365, Pinnacle, Sbobet, Wwin, Bet at home, and Marathonbet. If I missed one you think belongs on this list, speak up.

3. A play must be posted at least 3 hours before kickoff because—let me repeat myself—the whole point is to give as many people as possible time to copy it, place the bet, and make money. Occasionally, if something crazy happens (like finding out about a massive injury right before the game), you can post later, but I am strongly urging you to get it in at least three hours prior.

4. If, for example, you’re posting a "Both Teams to Score" bet but also want to suggest an Over 2.5 or a 3+ goal scenario, you have to pick one primary bet that will be used to calculate your final ROI. You can mention the other variations in your text or underneath the main pick, but they won't count toward your official performance stats. Also, you MUST include your confidence level on a scale of 1-10/10 for every single pair.

5. To keep things organized and make the math easier for me, please post every pair using this exact format. Here’s an example:

(League, Time) NBA, 08.20. 8:45 PM
(Matchup) Lakers vs. Warriors
(Bet, Odds, Sportsbook) Over 220.5 1.85 Bet365
(Confidence) 7/10
(Analysis) .....

Let the games begin. 🎉🎉

Europa League Qualifiers, Aug 25, 8:30 PM
Seattle Sounders vs. LA Galaxy
over 4.5 yellow cards @ 1.60 on FanDuel (4)
Confidence: 7/10

Alright, so we’re looking at a wide-open matchup here. The scoreline could go either way, and since the stadium is gonna be absolutely packed, I figure that electric atmosphere is gonna push both sides to play a bit more aggressively.
In the first leg, they handed out six yellows, and honestly, most recent Sounders games have been hitting the over lately.
The ref is a card magnet, too. We've got Felix Zwayer, and his recent stats are pretty wild: he dropped 3 yellows and a red in his last outing, and before that, it was a run of 7, then 5 plus a red, then 5, 8, 8... you get the idea. He isn't afraid to pull them out.

Good luck, everyone!

Sunday 7:00 PM Los Angeles FC vs. Seattle Sounders 1X 1.45 (0-2) (SS)

Seattle is playing like garbage right now. Plus, honestly, after what went down last night, I don't see them pulling themselves together fast enough to snag a win during such a brutal away game. Now, LAFC might have dropped out of the Europa League, but that’s hardly a death blow for them—they weren't really expecting to make it this far anyway. So, you've got a confident side facing a team that's basically on the ropes. I’d actually consider taking the home win for LAFC, but I’m sticking with this double chance instead, and I mean it. Maybe I should just hold off until Sunday to see if a "lock" pops up, but I've got a feeling the odds will dry up before then.

Spanish La Liga, 08/26 8:45 PM
Betis vs. La Coruna
Both Teams to Score @ 2.00 (Current Score 0-0)
Wager: 6/10

I’m leaning into this one mostly because of the historical stats.
In their last five head-to-head matchups, this exact bet hit every single time.
Plus, both sides started this season looking pretty hungry for goals. Betis went out in week one and put two past the defense at Yankee Stadium but let in five, while Deportivo managed a 2-1 win over Eibar. Honestly, the odds look too good—maybe even a little too high if you ask me.

Good luck, everyone!

U21 Qualifiers - Wednesday, 5:30 PM
U21: Lithuania vs. Andorra - Over 2.5 goals? NOPE. (PS - 1.45) (1-0)
Confidence: 5/10

This is an U21 Euro qualifier. The last time Andorra was even in a game where we saw over 2.5 goals was over four years ago. Neither side has any real technical skill on the pitch; they don't score much, and I really doubt this one opens up. For what it's worth, Andorra hasn't even scored an away goal since they played in Estonia back in June 2013. If you're feeling gutsy, you could try Under 2.5 goals at 1.70 (SS) .
