Let’s just pray everything goes smoothly 🙂

I could easily Scola over and Jefferson over. This game's gonna be a heater and he'll probably log 35+ minutes. Every time he's played that much this season, he hits the over
.

Honestly, taking those +2.5 points for Boston seems like a steal—especially since the Bulls are missing Kirk Hinrich (and obviously Derrick Rose), meaning Nata is going to have to log some heavy minutes because Teague hasn't really shown anything yet... and wasn't even supposed to see the floor this season.
Boston had a rough start, but they're finally playing like a real team with this new roster... though I'm not exactly betting the house on it. Personally, I'll take the two-point spread; the handicap is definitely the safer bet.
Anyway, good luck everyone tonight. 🙂

Interesting...

We probably need official confirmation first. It'll likely be about an hour before tip-off, so I doubt we'll hear anything sooner than that.
Anyway, if they don't suit up, I'm betting big on a Portland win.

Atlanta's been sliding lately, and honestly, after they managed to take down the Thunder and the Pacers, they hit a wall against Miami and then stumbled again last night against the Clippers. It felt like teams have finally figured out how to shut down Josh Smith, which was pretty much the deciding factor in those losses. They seem way too reliant on the three-pointer right now—they're basically top 4 in attempts but only sitting at 17th when you look at actual makes. Their biggest headache is definitely getting to the charity stripe; they’re almost dead last in free throw attempts, averaging just 16.2 per game (that's a measly 13.2% FT/FGA), and their accuracy is rough at 66.7%, which puts them at #29. It’s hard to draw fouls if you aren't attacking the paint, even though they actually rank 24th in rim attempts. Now, while Portland isn't exactly an elite defensive unit, they should have a really solid matchup here against Atlanta. I can see Aldridge keeping Al Horford in check, and Batum might be able to contain a Smith who hasn't found his rhythm yet. Matthews should be able to handle Korver, who's really their only real threat coming off screens or in spot-up situations, and Teague doesn't look like he'll give the Blazers much trouble, so Lillard should be able to handle him easily. If Atlanta wants to keep winning, they really need to lean on their defense; if they try to get into a track meet, I don't see them going very far. In their last outing at the Rose Garden, the Hawks were held to just 77 points, so I’m expecting maybe a little more than that from them today. ☕

In my view, taking those +2.5 points on Boston is an incredibly profitable move. This is especially true considering the Bulls are playing without Hinrich—and naturally, without Rose—and they'll be forced to start Nate, who is going to have to soak up heavy minutes. Teague hasn't really established himself yet, and according to the original plan, he wasn't even supposed to see much action this season.
Boston had a rough start, but they’ve finally begun playing with some actual cohesion now that the new roster is settled. That said, I’m not feeling overly optimistic about the matchup. Personally, I’m going to try for the straight win, though the spread is definitely the safer bet.
Anyway, good luck to everyone tonight. 🙂
