Disappointed in the Clippers and Memphis. It’s pretty rough. I had a feeling there was a catch if those odds shifted like that, but I suppose you always hold out a little hope anyway...🙂

Great form paired with the Pistons' weak interior defense
Pierce under 18.5 @ 1.85

Man, it feels like just a couple of weeks ago everyone was calling his line at 21 or 22 points, but it looks like they finally woke up and realized what was actually happening. It’s kind of funny seeing them smarten up all of a sudden after being so far off the mark before.
Honestly, he’s only 18 and he already looks like he’s got some serious potential, don't you think? He’s definitely holding his own. What's your take on him?

First off, greetings to everyone; I hope my questionable expertise might be of some small use to you all.
So, looking at Luis Scola over 16 points—on paper, it seems like a reasonable margin given his season average of 15.7, but today’s matchup actually tilts quite favorably for this bet. After all the noise and speculation surrounding trade rumors, Scola announced he’s perfectly happy staying put in Houston. Beyond the fact that his heart is settled and he isn't exactly itching to pack up and leave Texas, he’s been producing solid numbers on the court, averaging 18.4 points over the last five games. What really bolsters this wager when examining the Rockets' injury report is the absence of both Lowry and Martin; frankly, even if they weren't facing the Warriors, this would be a tempting play. While the line was pushed higher because those two are out, it doesn't actually hinder Scola's production—if anything, it helps. Scola simply knows how to step up as the leader when the situation demands it. Furthermore, they are facing a squad that has also been restless with recent trades, and much like a team hungry for change and first-round picks, they are grappling with serious injury issues. They are essentially playing without a true frontline since Biedrins is sidelined and Udoha was traded away; they even pulled Tyler up from the G-League, a guy who just earned his first career start last game. Because they are thin on height, Tyler and Lee are rotating at center, while McGuire has been moved from small forward to power forward to cover alongside Lee. And to top it all off, the whole group seems to be playing what you might call mediocre defense.😁 Last season, Scola served them well, averaging 25.3 points in the three games they played against them. This season, in their lone meeting, Scola put up 14 points but managed only 6 rebounds, which is remarkably low. However, when you weigh all the circumstances, I believe this margin is short by at least two points.

I suspect this will be an easy win; the Blazers basically have a brand new roster that's arguably worse than their previous one. They struggle immensely on the road, they’re equally terrible on back-to-backs, and they just don't have the size to deal with Gasol and Bynum, both of whom have been playing exceptionally well lately. On top of that, Aldridge logged 40 minutes last night, while Batum and Matthews both played over 35—they probably won't find it very easy tonight.

Philly isn't quite playing at that same level they were at the start of the season, but they're still sitting pretty at the top of the East. Meanwhile, those Boston guys are starting to find their rhythm and are becoming one of the toughest matchups in the playoffs. Philly is the clear favorite here, but this line looks too good to pass up if you're looking to play it safe and stay away. 😉

To make matters worse, Aldridge logged 40 minutes last night, while Batum and Matthews both cleared 35—they aren't going to have much left in the tank for tonight.
