Fellow bettors. I’ve put together an NBA O/U parlay and I want your take. Primarily, I need to know which legs to cut entirely, rather than whether I should flip an over to an under or vice versa. Here is the list:
19.5/John Patrick Augustin (Charl-Orlan) under
22.5/Dwight Howard (Charl-Orlan) under
20.5/D. Granger (Indiana-Cleve) over
17.5/Jo. Johnson (Atlan-NJ Ne) under
18.5/Luis Scola (Memph-Houst) under
19.5/R. Gay (Memph-Houst) over
11.5/Chris Kaman (N.Orl-Phoen) under
13.5/Steve Nash (N.Orl-Phoen) under
15.5/Andrei Bogut (Milwa-Washi) under
16.5/Paul Millsap (Utah-Phila) under
16.5/Andre Iguodala (Utah-Phila) over
25.5/Derrick Rose (LA Cl-Chica) under

19.5/John Patrick Augustin (Charl-Orlan) under
22.5/Dwight Howard (Charl-Orlan) under
20.5/D. Granger (Indiana-Cleve) over
17.5/Johnson (Atlanta-New Jersey) under
18.5/Luis Scola (Memphis-Houston) under
19.5/R. Gay (Memphis-Houston) over
11.5/Chris Kaman (New Orleans-Phoenix) under
13.5/Steve Nash (New Orleans-Phoenix) under
15.5/Andrei Bogut (Milwaukee-Washington) under
16.5/Paul Millsap (Utah-Philadelphia) under
16.5/Andre Iguodala (Utah-Philadelphia) over
25.5/Derrick Rose (LA Clippers-Chicago Bulls) under

Personally, I'd drop Johnson, Nash, and Iguodala. I'm not sure about Millsap since I don't really know how he plays, but the rest of these look solid.

I'd say there's a 70% chance this hits.

Plus, when they played head-to-head in the first game, Atlanta crushed them 28-11 in the quarter.

Atlanta leads 20-19. Way tougher than I expected... but it hit 🙂 in HL@1,50

New Orleans wiped me out on the VCRS, but I went all in on LA Clippers-Chicago Bulls at 201.5, and since they hit that by halftime when the score was 57-52, I at least clawed back everything I lost.

really hoping someone actually tailed this ticket😍,it’s such a damn shame I didn't put more on it because we could've been looking at some serious cash right now, but hey, a win is a win, right?🤷

............................

Dwight Howard (-22.5+)-Mem-Hou (12/31 01:00) Under 1.85 👍
Williams D (-21.5+)-Atlanta-New Jersey (12/31 01:30) Under 1.85 👎
R. Gay (-18.5+)-Mem-Hou (12/31 02:00) Over 1.85 👎
Atlanta-New Jersey/Total (93.5)-Atlanta (12/31 01:30) Over 1.85 👍
Milwaukee-Washington/Total (87.5)-Washington (12/31 02:30) Under 1.85 👍
Derrick Rose (-25.5+)-LA Clippers-Chicago Bulls (12/31 04:30) Under 1.85 👎

............................

I’m also eyeing the Dallas Mavericks, Boston Celtics, and Milwaukee Bucks. 👍

The main bet hit! I also put some money on Boston over 96. They had 86 points after the third quarter, and then they only managed 10 more points in the entire fourth quarter 😲. So, that lands them at exactly 96 🙂.

stormyseal9 said:I really hope someone followed this ticket; it’s a shame the stake wasn't higher because the payout would have been huge, but still, a win is a win!

I didn't follow it myself, but bravo! 👏

I wasn't really following along, but damn, nice job! 👏

If I’d just placed a regular bet, it would've been fine, but instead, I’m out here acting like a complete clown, trying these crazy 15/18 system parlays on over/under just to see what happens, and then I just toss this one in randomly and—boom—it actually lands 🤷. Even my buddy was asking me for picks, but I shot him down because I’ve been missing everything lately, and then suddenly, out of nowhere, I strike it lucky 😍.

stormyseal9 said:...if a friend asks me to give them some picks, I usually turn them down because I've been on such a massive losing streak lately, and then I'd just be passing on my bad luck onto them.😍

That’s exactly how it works. You hit a few big winners in European basketball once, and suddenly you feel invincible. Then, after following your lead for a few days straight, I ended up losing everything I put down. 🙄...

If I start copying your plays again right now, we're both going to end up broke. 😁

Kevin Cruz46 said:That’s exactly how it went down... I mean, seriously, you actually nailed it once or twice back when we were talking about European hoops, but then? Then everything went south! I spent days straight just copying your plays and following your lead, and what did it get me? Absolutely nothing! Every single bet I placed, every single one, just went straight down the drain. How does that even happen?! 🙄...

If I start typing all this stuff out again right now, we're both gonna lose our minds, seriously! 😁

Man, I’m telling you, if this actually pays off and lands me that win, I am not playing around! Seriously, if this hits, it's game over!😍Look, I’d much rather just play the over/under than sit here sweating my life away over some tiny-ass low odds, because honestly, does anyone actually get it? It’s like people just refuse to wrap their heads around the fact that in sports, there is absolutely no such thing as a sure thing! You can study the stats until you're blue in the face, but nothing is 100% guaranteed, so why am I even stressing out over pennies when the volatility is going to hit regardless?🤷Look, why even bother playing it safe? Why put less love on the plays when you could be going big? Honestly, if you're destined to lose, you're gonna lose, right? Whether you tank five or six parlays or just blow one or two, the result is basically the same in the end! It’s all coming down to fate anyway, so why not just ride the wave?🤷And honestly, look, it’s really not that big of a deal, right? Like, seriously, why is everyone acting like the world is ending over this? It’s just one loss, and frankly, it isn't even a massive hit to the standings or anything. We move on!

Lakers - Nuggets 1
Houston - Atlanta 2
Sacramento - New York 2
Oklahoma - Phoenix 1
San Antonio - Utah 1
Luis Scola - Under 15.5
Amaro - Over 20.5

So, what's the move?

Man, I got absolutely screwed too. Seriously—three tickets in a row, all of them busted by some last-second madness in the final 20 seconds of the game. Just my luck, I guess. 🙄

About a month ago, I tried my hand at a double ticket parlay for some high-stakes EuroLeague basketball—just a little gamble, you know?—and both games ended in draws. Honestly, I’ve chased that specific parlay so many times that my head actually hurts from thinking about it. I guess I just can't seem to catch a break.

Alex Cook said:Looking at Minnesota vs. Miami, honestly, I think there’s some value in betting the halftime/fulltime 1/2 option—DraftKings has it sitting at @5.50. Last season, the Timberwolves played a ton of home games where they basically kept opponents on life support for two or even three quarters before just tearing them apart late in the game. Miami, on the other hand, is coming off a grueling road trip through Charlotte where they were barely hanging on until the final buzzer... and even though they had a day off, that kind of grind can still linger. Probably not enough to make them lose outright, but they might come out a bit sluggish. Plus, it wouldn't be the wildest scenario if Miličić finds himself in foul trouble within... what, the first 30 seconds? 🤷

Confidence level 2-3/10.
