And regarding those cases where people say their noses look too big after surgery... well, everyone has different tastes. Someone probably wanted that specific look, and to them, it looks great. He isn't going to give you a nose you don't want...

Your nose is absolutely gorgeous!! 🙂 Honestly, it wasn't even big before the surgery; from the profile view, it looked beautiful, and the tip is perfect now, too. Regardless, you fall into that category of patients for whom he did an incredible job. My situation is completely different... from the side, it's flat, large, and pointed (🙄), while from the front, the tip looks big and bulbous. It's a total disaster...

I want a "normal" nose so badly that I'm actually terrified I might overreach with my requests and end up with something that doesn't suit my face at all. But I suppose Dr. Glusac keeps those things in mind...

I don't know about the rest of you, but whenever I Google "perfect noses," I only see those surgically flawless models, and it makes me worry that my expectations are totally skewed. As crazy as it sounds, my biggest fear is making a mistake myself. 🙄

The more I read through these recent posts, the more I find myself losing faith in Glusac too... you guys are totally rubbing your skepticism off on me 🙂

I’m right there with you on that one; honestly, I can't say I wouldn't want one exactly like it myself.
It actually suits his face quite well; he looks genuinely handsome without that weird, artificial vibe—you know, like he was just sketched out by a computer instead of being a real person. I wonder if I’ll ever go for something like that myself one day, though honestly, I'm not exactly losing sleep over it right now. 🙂

I agree that everyone has different preferences; for instance, my husband never even noticed I had a large nose until I pointed it out—though perhaps he was just looking elsewhere 😂 .
To me, my nose looks completely out of proportion with my face. I feel like any surgeon could fix it to look much better, but functionality is a major concern for me, and I haven't quite decided which doctor to go to yet... Plus, I feel like my nose has actually grown over the last few years. Has anyone else experienced this?

I read somewhere that noses and ears actually continue to grow as we age.

Well folks, after spending two full days scouring forums, digging through websites, and scrolling through endless photos—it’s settled. I’ve decided to go with Dr. Glusac. I went in for a consultation, and while he does tend to talk about himself a little more than necessary—perhaps a tad too much, if I'm being honest—I think he's actually the right choice... he just has this way of instilling confidence, and he seems quite grounded. To be blunt, I have an oooooogrooooooman aquiline nose, and I am beyond ready to finally deal with it. I'm calling him tomorrow to sort out a date, so I'll let you all know how the scheduling goes...😁

Hey, Linda Wilson82, could you please give me a bit more detail regarding those consultations with Dr. Glusac? Did he actually offer any specific suggestions on how to proceed, or did you have to step up and tell him exactly what you were looking for? Also, did he show you any clinical images or scans beyond the ones already posted on his website?
For me, it all comes down to one thing: does the doctor actually inspire confidence? I need to feel like I'm in capable hands. But honestly, there’s nothing that turns me off faster than someone who can't stop talking about how great they are. Excessive self-promotion is such a massive red flag, don't you think?

So, I sent him an email around 3 AM last night asking if I could just send over some photos first—you know, so he could tell me what's possible without me having to drive all the way down to Miami—and he replied to me this morning saying: I am preparing for 2 nose surgeries (both functional and aesthetic procedures) even though it is Sunday. Please send the photos ... and so on.
I mean, what kind of opening line is that? That tone immediately put me off... Is he always like this, or...?

Honestly, he’s even more unhinged than before. 🤣

hahahhahahah man, you people are something else... you always find the downside in everything. Did it even cross your mind that he’s literally the only person who would bother replying to an email sent at 3 in the morning on a weekend?! Honestly, you're crazier than he is. 😂

So, Dr. Dzepina actually got back to my email right away. He mentioned prices are running somewhere between $1,600 and $1,950, consultations are $67, and he’d prefer to see me in person to go over some specific medical questions. I think I'll make the trip; I'm genuinely curious, and the guy is an ENT with a PhD—plus, I've picked up a few solid recommendations for him.
All things considered, Los Angeles is much closer to me, so I don't really have any reason to trek all the way to Miami just to end up disappointed after looking at the photos...

Yeah, that's just who he is. 😁 We’ve already chatted about this before... Some people can't stand his vibe, but personally, I thought it was great. If you're looking for some stiff, formal doctor-patient relationship, you aren't going to find it with him. To me, it felt like we'd been buddies for years. 😁 He loves talking about himself and all his little accomplishments, but as long as he's telling the truth, I don't mind one bit. 😁

P.S. I wasn't judging you either! I just laughed at your post because I "know" the guy. 😁

Anyway, rustygardener172, from what I can gather, you had your rhinoplasty done by Dr. Glusac... I feel a little awkward even asking, but would you be willing to share some photos of your nose? Because looking at his website, most of the noses he works on seem a bit upturned, sort of pinched in the middle with a bow shape... and I really wouldn't want mine to look like that, I'd much rather have a naturally straight profile...

From what I’ve seen on his website, most of the noses he does look a bit... bumpy? They seem lower in the middle and have this weird upturned, bow-like shape, and I really don't want mine looking like that—I just want a nice, straight profile..

But hey, I’ve actually seen a couple of girls from this forum post pics of really pretty, straight noses he did. He actually asked me if he could go for a specific shape because he thought it would suit my face better... and I went for it.

Your nose looks amazing! That slight upturn really suits you... 🙂 though, to be honest, your old nose didn't look bad at all from the profile view.. maybe it just needed a little touch-up from the front.. but seriously, it looks beautiful now, totally natural. I would never have guessed anything was done to it 🙂
Just one more thing.. if you don't mind me asking, how much did the surgery cost? I'm thinking about checking with Dr. Glusac myself, and I know every procedure is different in terms of complexity, but just for a rough idea...

I went in to get my breathing fixed and figured I’d just straighten it out while I was at it... the doctor suggested a more rounded profile and I was totally down. I am obsessed with how cute it is now! 😍
So basically, I got both functional repair and aesthetics done, and the total came to about $1,850. 😁

I don't actually have any breathing issues, so my procedure is going to be purely aesthetic at this point...
I know I’m being a bit of a nuisance, but just one more thing—what kind of extra costs should I expect after the surgery? I assume they wouldn't just send you home right away, that they probably have some sort of recovery suite where you stay for a day or two or something like that... especially since I'm not from Miami so...
