Damn it, Kate James39, I'll give you 250. 😁 I'll even go up to 300 😳

So you can tell Jason Nguyen6 to get lost. 😁

Check your PM. ☕

Btw... I hate tickets and festivals. 🤣

Hitting up NYC tomorrow... shouldn't be too bad... 😁

People, man... just people... It’s gone... sold. So, my buddy finally got back to me about that offer... looks like he's grabbing a ticket after all...

Let me know how things went today—we’re sitting this one out. Honestly, the only act I actually care about is TTB, but I can always catch them some other time. This wind is absolutely brutal right now 😲

But tomorrow... 🙂 🙂 Billy 😍

Someone in charge of the events at Central Park absolutely botched it this year. For some reason, they’ve flipped the script—instead of aiming the speakers and stage toward the open areas, they’re pointing everything straight toward the residential neighborhoods over in The Hamptons. Now, instead of enjoying the music, locals are stuck sitting in their houses listening to nothing but muffled noise and bone-rattling bass whenever there's an outdoor concert going on.
It really needs to be addressed, because I can't get any sleep or focus on my studying with this racket blaring; it definitely wasn't this bad in previous years.
That's all from me.
Best,

Someone needs to fix this. I can't sleep or study with this racket. It wasn't like this last year.

Best,

😲 That sounds awful. I can only imagine how frustrating. Is there an insider reading this?

Yeah, everyone, let us know—is it really such a total swamp out there? Give us a rating on the level of filth.😁

Anyone else still looking for a ticket?
I just got back from my trip, and honestly, I have zero intention of going back. Charging $300 for both days is just ridiculous... plus, if you don't show up today, you're basically out of luck anyway, though I doubt anyone's even making it at this point... ☕
Shoot me a DM if you're interested; I'm over in New York City.

Since blueberryz isn't getting back to me, I'm throwing another ticket up here. It's from a different friend who's selling it for $83. Same deal though—student pricing works for both days. I could potentially make the trek to New York City tomorrow, which is about a 🙂
drive.
EDIT: Ticket's gone 😁

CNN is broadcasting TBF right now.
The stream runs until about 10:51 PM.
They’ve also got Morcheeb on tomorrow starting at 7:15 PM.

Evogac, here’s the quick rundown:

The swamp—it was there, though I honestly expected more (fingers crossed for next time)—definitely a bit of a jump scare, though.
Beer—$5.00, and man, they pour it right up to the brim.😍
Restrooms—kind of claustrophobic, but hey, the vibe was cool.
Kawasaki—not usually my thing, but it would've been alright.
TBF—don't really listen to them either, but they were incredibly good; aside from one awkward stumble by Mr. Badovinac, which he handled like a pro.
Alice in Chains—stunning, just absolutely stunning.

Also, I was pleasantly surprised by the indie student crowd—didn't get a single dirty look for wearing my Led Zeppelin shirt.🤣

To be honest, I don't usually listen to them either, but it was seriously, seriously good; except for that one awkward trip Mr. Badovinac took, which he definitely felt:

🤣
🤣

Honestly, it’s such a fun way to kick off the summer, even if the weather isn't quite there yet!
And I actually ended up getting hyped and listening to Atak—which is absolutely massive!
Just two days before the same thing happened...
😳

Alice in Chains is definitely worth a listen—it's rare to find anything else quite like them.
There were times when they just completely blew everything else away, which was almost scary, haha!
But hey, it was good.

Led Zeppelin's fourth album is just incredible 👍
even for someone like me!

Time just absolutely crushed them... it's brutal to watch...

Stop whining. They played—and especially sang—absolutely flawlessly, just like back in their prime. My only real gripe was how short the set was (maybe 80 minutes), but honestly, that makes sense given it was a festival vibe, crappy weather, and a pretty lukewarm crowd...

Look, there's a big difference between you just not being a fan or grunge simply not being trendy right now...

At least there’s no rain or wind today... though I’ll probably end up trekking through it in my Xena boots anyway. 😁
Everything else is just going to be a total washout on this swamp within five minutes.

I still haven't figured out how to pull off a Billy Idol and Pendulum mashup. 😢

Man, Alice in Chains played like they were back in their prime—serious respect to them. Duvall is such a vibe, and Inez is an absolute god with that hat on! The setlist was killer too... huge thanks for playing Damn That River, Rain When I Die, and again! Plus In nutshell and all those other classics. It’s just a bummer they were part of the Lollapalooza lineup... it kind of messed with the crowd energy and made the whole set feel way too short. But hey, I know they'll be back 🙂

Rebecca Lee said:I honestly haven't figured out how to chemically engineer a crossover between Billy Idol and Pendulum just yet.😢

It’s quite simple, really!
Just skip the Bill Gates era nostalgia and head straight to Pendulum; why on earth would you bother with a relic who is still desperately clinging to the fading echoes of his 80s glory?😉 😁

Honestly, Alice in Chains was the biggest letdown for me yesterday—and they were literally the only reason I even bothered showing up. Don't get me wrong, their set was solid; they can play their hearts out, but there just wasn't any vibe in the crowd at all. It was like the audience was totally dead inside—just some sporadic clapping after every song and nothing else. It honestly felt like most people there hadn't even heard of Alice in Chains until they saw them on the lineup for this festival.
