feraltrucker5 said:It wasn't even about being controlled. I just waved at him while passing by, and since my sleeve was partially covering the bracelet, they could only see the edge of it. Honestly, I could have done that with any random piece of plastic... 😬

😕 They actually grabbed me to check if the clasp was original. Why would I look suspicious in the first place?.. 😕

packing.

Why didn't you show up? 🙄
It’s not like I could actually spot you in that crowd anyway. 😬

LCD was such an inconsistent set—honestly, I’m just so incredibly frustrated right now 😠—but man, that ending really hit the spot
.
!!! It was a complete disaster 😢. They played six new tracks that sound absolutely terrible (I caught a glimpse of the album yesterday/today, though everyone's still waiting to actually sit down and listen properly), plus four tracks filled with mythic takes and one oldie. The production quality was the absolute worst 😢. Such a sloppy performance 😢. I guess my expectations were just way too high 😢

You probably missed me since I was hiding behind a massive pitcher of Budweiser 😬
I was out at a bachelor party all weekend (it absolutely wrecked me) and I wasn't checking my phone to realize you guys were coming to town.
But hey, if you find yourself in Chicago, shoot me a text so we can grab a beer 🙂
I'll definitely hit you up once I'm back in the city.

On topic: quit bashing the legend 😢
The performance was a total disaster, but he’s still Billy fucking Idol!

Audio Bullys and LCD Soundsystem were easily my top two picks for this lineup, so they definitely lived up to the hype. Such an incredible set—I’m seriously stoked I caught them live. Watching LCD was especially heavy for me; I’ve been riding with them since day one, and they basically paved the way for my whole obsession with that disco-punk sound. Since they’re breaking up after this tour, finally hearing "All My Friends" live felt like a massive full-circle moment. 🙂
Morcheeba was a genius move for the opening act, too. They set the perfect vibe to get the crowd warmed up. Though, if I’m being honest, it felt like most people were just counting down the minutes until the headliner and "Rome Wasn't Built In a Day" kicked in. 😁
As for Pendulum... man, I don't get why people feel the need to nitpick the musical quality of acts like this. Like, come on. If you can listen to tracks like "Blood Sugar," "Slam," or "Tarantula" and just stand there by the side of the stage judging them, honestly, more power to you. Me? I was dancing harder than I ever have in my life (and I might have accidentally knocked a beer right out of my friend's hand in the process 😁).

Or just dunk your hand in some nail polish remover!

I actually stumbled upon my own little ritual a few years back, inspired by Nick Cave; I was dealing with such a brutal bout of illness back then that I was convinced I wouldn't even make it to tomorrow. In a fit of sheer boredom once the fever broke, after having already handed off a gift card for a round of drinks to some teenager just to ensure a certain girl could have a drink while we were embracing, I sat there with a piece of plastic wrap and a needle—tools I always seem to have lying around somewhere on my desk—and essentially waged war against big pharma 🙂
so that I could ride off on my scooter, or whatever vehicle I happened to be using, the very next day.

That said, I am fully in favor of any solution that keeps things simple.😬

Same thing happened to me; they pulled at it to check if it had been opened.
And then this female medic checking me out ended up slapping my butt like, "you're good to go."😂😂
Sending 😳 😂

Honestly, Billy was incredible 😍 I was hanging out in the second row, so I had a pretty clear view of everything 😍 It made total sense that they’d play all the big hits, and honestly, hearing Sweet Sixteen was the absolute highlight for me 🙏 😍 Though, if we're being picky, having Cradle of Love on the lineup would have been the cherry on top—but hey, let's not split hairs 😁

Audio Bullys killed it, but man, LCD was a massive letdown 😢 The sound was just way too low-key—it felt more like a casual rehearsal than a headline concert 🤷

I was just catching the news summaries on FOX and local networks, and honestly, it’s pathetic that nobody even gave a mention to Pendulum.

Honestly, it’s all just a total disaster. Nothing about this lineup is hitting the mark, and I’m still planning on going today just so I have plenty of material to complain about later. Pendulum was honestly such a letdown, and Billy’s set felt genuinely depressing 😕🤷 I’m kicking myself for missing Pendulum, but I don't regret being at Idol at all—that show was absolutely incredible.

Did Morcheeba ever play any sets with The Antidote or Deep?

Yeah, is anyone else’s actually starting to fray, or did the whole bracelet just snap completely? Man, mine is already looking dangerously beat up in a few spots, especially right where those little holes are... If this thing is supposed to last through tomorrow, I honestly don't know if I'd even bother wearing it anymore. Not to mention a couple of my buddies ALREADY lost theirs because they snapped during some random delirium, so today’s gonna be hilarious watching them try to prove it.😕🙄

Is anyone actually interested in playing games? I’m offering a free wristband for tonight’s show if someone is willing to play along...
The catch, however, is that I am looking for a woman—someone attractive, young, maybe between 16 and 19—who wouldn't mind grabbing a coffee with me first. 😉 😁

Rebecca Lee said:They did the same thing to me, just checking to see if anything was actually open.
And then there was this female agent who was examining me, and she ended up giving me a little pat on the backside like, "you're good to go."😂😂
She really hit me with the 😳 😂

😁 Yeah, they definitely lean into that friendly small talk... but they’re sweet as can be to elderly ladies coming from the airport; they always end up checking my chest area. (I mean, it's hard to miss. 😳) But about two years ago, I managed to sneak a small bottle of tequila into the midsection area for a friend at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. 🙂 They didn't even check the bra; they were perfectly professional. 😁

🤮

What is with all this hate? Seriously... If you didn't dig a specific set, you could've just stayed home or waited for the other two stages to pop off, right? There was stuff for everyone there, honestly... it’s pointless to just drag everything. Like, if you actually care, then step up and say something real instead of just whining... And don't even get me started on Billy Idol. Man has been rocking the exact same hair, the same outfit, the same songs for decades. You knew exactly what you were getting into! Now suddenly everyone's shocked because he's trying to give us those 80s vibes? Give me a break... 🤣

Honestly, Chk Chk Chk was absolutely incredible—I danced my heart out—and the frontman's improvisation skills were just top-tier
