I'm just a bit unclear on whether shipping is included or if there's an extra charge $6.75. I actually tossed my old speakers in the trash today after a failed attempt at fixing them, so I'm seriously considering pulling the trigger on this order...

The deal expired on Amazon Spain, but since Cyber Monday is rolling around, it just popped up again on both the German and US sites.

https://www.amazon.de/Crucial-Intern...YXMVJQB788XZCP

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Crucial-MX3...f_rd_i=desktop

Man, if I’d known, I would have waited. It’s the same price, but at least I wouldn't be dealing with a language barrier on the US site.

If anyone was planning on picking up these headphones

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

They're about $115 including shipping to the US... which is roughly $25 cheaper than what they're charging locally here 😁 Cyber Monday really rules (just wish it worked the same way for us :P)

What’s the point of spending that much? Honestly, if I had that kind of cash, I’d just grab a solid pair of standard earbuds and a decent USB mic instead. To me, that combo beats a headset any day. Plus, you can wear earbuds for way longer without that annoying pressure buildup, though you do have to clean them more often.

Maybe this isn't exactly a best-buy since it's not 😬 but... in terms of reference style GTX 1080 - $1577

It went through... I had two and a half sums earlier, so now I'm wondering if this is just an error or what...

Some screw-up at the supplier... they used the exact same model in both cases, roughly $0.87 😬

You can actually find them in parts of Germany for under $400 at a few different spots... It just goes to show that some pretty massive discounts are definitely on the table.

Not a bad deal at all. Just so you know, these are unlocked units featuring the most powerful integrated graphics available.

I guess I’d feel pretty stupid if I rushed out and grabbed an i3 when I could just stick with this Core i7—it’s a killer deal.

That CPU is an absolute steal for the price. There’s a really thorough German review over at PCMag detailing everything.

I can't help but wonder what Intel is actually playing at here—what's the point of even having the i3 series? I mean, come on, they're three times cheaper than the entry-level i5s. It makes me think Intel might be sitting on some info we don't have yet. I'm genuinely curious if we'll see pure Zen quad-cores and what the price tag will look like. Regardless, if you're looking to buy something new and aren't in a massive rush, my advice is to skip the i3s, the i5s, and those old FX-63xx or FX-83xx chips entirely (unless you're just doing a quick upgrade on your current motherboard). Either grab this Core i7 or just hold out for Zen to see how the dust settles.

Not bad at all. It’s an unlocked chip plus the best integrated graphics out there.

That's a killer price. You're basically getting a 4670K with a beastly iGPU for next to nothing.

I’ve been browsing Newegg and Amazon, and honestly, it looks like quite the local sensation here in the States.

Man, that deal is so good it’s actually tempting me to grab it for $167, though I guess it wouldn't make much sense right next to this Athlon and 740 combo I'm running at the moment

Look, the Pentium isn't going anywhere. Just hang tight and grab a Ryzen instead.
Since we aren't getting any dual-core Zen chips, this is probably going to be the new best value for just about any mid-range build.

I don't expect AMD to have anything even remotely close to this for the $167 generation. The best they might do is drop that "i5-tier" CPU ranking down to somewhere around $333 +/-, which isn't out of the question, along with the 4c8t configuration. We are looking at some seriously interesting times ahead for the CPU market.

That’s just how prices look now—ever since PC sales took such a massive hit, everyone seems to be pivoting their focus toward smartphones and mobile tech instead. Honestly, I wouldn't even be surprised if in a few years I'm walking around with a Samsung Galaxy s12 powered by an i5 processor 🙂

It’s not like PC sales dropped overall. It’s just that people stopped buying pre-builts from big brands like HP or Lenovo.
I’d even go so far as to say component sales are picking up.
