Holy crap 😁

They're asking $260 including shipping.

Do they offer shipping? I'm not entirely sure about the rates, but this looks like it's roughly $333 for a stock RX 480 once you factor in the rebate. CLICK

Americans don't just skip shipping here; their websites list prices without tax, unlike most European countries where you're hit with both state and local sales tax. Even if you factor in decent shipping costs, once you add our local sales tax and import duties—since we aren't part of the EU—you'll find it's actually cheaper to just buy from Best Buy 😁 Plus, there's the issue of whether you can even claim those discounts effectively.

Bottom line? Go with the US. For us, the only real wins are when the European Amazon sites run major sales.

I mean, you’ve got Newegg and those UK retailers, but I'm not even sure if they all just ship everything straight from the US or how the logistics actually work.

Let’s be real: the discount percentages listed here are often a joke (like seeing a 120GB SSD supposedly "dropped" from $220), but the actual final prices on certain items are actually solid. For instance, you can snag a 120GB Patriot Pyro for around 260-$90, or find a budget 22" LG IPS monitor for just over $75. If they even have any left in stock...

RX 480 G1 GAMING, 4 GB GDDR5 - $584

Not a bad price ☕

That’s pretty much the standard price lately for any budget 4GB card. Honestly, things have felt a bit underwhelming ever since msi started offering 8GB gaming cards on Amazon for roughly the same amount, or when you could snag an ASUS or Armor version of the RX 470 for under $500. In my opinion, a 4GB RX 480 isn't worth more than a 10% premium over those prices

That’s actually a solid deal for a quad core, especially if you're just building a cheap budget gaming rig.🙂

But honestly, there’s just no point pairing it with a G4560; you're better off going with something $33cheaper

If you're still running on DDR3 RAM, it might actually be worth it. $217 especially if you're looking at a new motherboard and CPU combo.

True enough. People often forget that regardless of how cheap the G4560 is, entry-level Skylake motherboards always run over $133, whereas you can snag an A68 for about $33 less. You end up saving $67 on the CPU and motherboard combo by going with this FM2+ option, especially if you're already sitting on some DDR3 RAM.
By the way, do H110 DDR3 boards support Kaby Lake—meaning the G4560—assuming you perform a BIOS update, of course?

Based on anything we know from history, can anyone guess when we might actually see some AM4 motherboards hitting the shelves here for around $100?

It's already got $233 🤷

There hasn't been much talk about those entry-level A320 motherboards yet, but I guess they won't really be worth picking up over an AMD B350 anyway—at least not until those AMD Ryzen 3 processors hit the shelves, which might be at least three months out.
