Honestly, I couldn’t care less about all the scientific research—when a full moon rolls around (and even during eclipses or just before a heavy downpour), I start feeling borderline psychotic—just look at my location data if you don't believe me!—I am just incredibly sensitive to... well, everything... and this whole lunar thing isn't some case of suggestion, either; I don't even follow the lunar cycles, but once the feeling really hits me, I just look out the window and think, "Nooooo, not agaaaaain..."😲

I know for a fact I was a total Moonchild back when I was younger. Honestly, thank God that phase finally passed. 🙏

Honestly, even when I don't realize my cycle is peaking, I start dealing with sleep issues or just feeling a bit on edge. And that Blue Moon effect? You can definitely feel it hitting you a day before, or even lingering for a few days after.😉

Man, I’ve got a real issue with the Full Moon. I feel totally drained during the day, but then once night hits, I get this massive surge of energy. Of course, I can't sleep—honestly, I don't even bother trying anymore. I’ve been a total Moonchild since I was a kid. I used to wonder if there was some psychological thing going on (like I was just imagining things), but nope, it's definitely not that. I handle it okay, though, because staying up for 48 hours isn't the end of the world when I normally only get about 4-6 hours of shut-eye anyway. When I finally crash after a burnout, I can sleep for 20+ hours straight without moving an inch (I won't even get up for a bathroom break). It’s actually wild how I wake up and I’m not even hungry...

The best fix is just staying active. For me, it’s totally normal to go for a run at 11:00 PM, and then maybe jump in the pool or play some sports around midnight. Since it’s summer, it's a bit harder, but I do the same thing in the winter too. If I push myself hard enough, I can sometimes grab a quick 3-4 hour nap and call it a day. Luckily, I have a group of friends crazy enough to hang out with me late at night, no matter what day of the week it is.

Moonchild 🙂

I know plenty of people who deal with the exact same thing. For some, it happens once in a while, and for others, they get hit by that "lunacy" more frequently. In my experience, it’s never psychosomatic for anyone. Honestly, over time, you actually learn to enjoy it.

I’m officially joining the club of people who can't catch a wink of sleep during a full moon. 😁
Sometimes I’m staring at the ceiling until the sun comes up, and other times I just lie there tossing and turning for hours on end. 🙂

Yesterday was just okay, kind of a meh day, but I’m feeling a bit more pumped today! Honestly though, I have a feeling an insomnia attack is going to hit me hard tomorrow. Thank goodness it's finally the weekend 🙂

I simply could not drift off last night—it was quite an ordeal. I mean, I was exhausted beyond belief, yet I found myself staying awake until my head started spinning and my eyes...😲 (you know, that sensation after you've downed a massive liter of coffee)! Today, I am feeling completely sleep-deprived—only managed about four hours of rest, and that included some rather unsettling nightmares—and, frankly, a bit starved, as I skipped dinner entirely last night and have only had a single grapefruit today. It is a strange thing, really; I feel absolutely terrible, and yet, in a most peculiar fashion, I seem to have this sudden surge of energy, scurrying about like a caffeinated rabbit on a mission.🎉 🙂 🙂 🙂

Some nights I can’t drift off until dawn; other times, I’m tossing and turning for hours after hitting the pillow. 🙂

Same here.
I can't sleep for anything when the full moon hits... I'll pass out like a light, only to wake up a few hours later feeling so wired I could head straight into a high-stakes meeting at Goldman Sachs and be perfectly focused.
It’s infuriating.
