Besides, the guy at the gate told me all I need to do is show my Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival pass and I'm good to go... so what's the big deal?! If they try to block me today, I'm going to lose it!!!

and the winner is... 🙏 🙏 🙏

Not alone.

Man, I just hope the info on where to grab vouchers doesn't blow up too much. One of the girls working the booth asked us if we'd actually crunched the numbers. No calculator, zero math skills—makes sense why this is taking forever. If there had been more room at the venue, things wouldn't have been such a mess, but whatever.

Just praying it doesn't pour...

Honestly, they can take those damn vouchers and wristbands right back where they came from... 😍

I honestly just want to vent a little bit about those 5 or 10 idiots who were "hanging out" right next to me... just total jerks, really. And one of them wouldn't stop shoving some older gentleman around... they completely ruined the vibe of the show for me...🙂
Plus, there were these two annoying girls standing right in front of me that were driving me crazy too 🙂
Otherwise, the whole thing was actually pretty great...🙂

🤣

I guess I'll just pick something that goes with my nail polish 🥳

@triangle - man, that guy who told you you could get in with just a ticket was telling the truth. but honestly, wasn't it a little weird that someone could walk into a concert with a torn ticket? didn't you used to work at a cassette shop or something?

A guy at the entrance told me all I had to do was show my festival pass and that would be that... are you kidding me? If they don't let me in today, there's going to be hell to pay!

Must be incredibly difficult to drift off drunk at 4 AM with a piece of red plastic strapped to your wrist. 🙄 🙏
Is there anything more refreshing than a crisp morning? I truly hope everyone is having a wonderful day. kaže:
Just a quick heads-up for everyone: you can actually pick up food vouchers at those few festival merch stands selling the official tees and gear. We checked yesterday, and since nobody seemed to realize that was an option, there wasn't a single line at any of them. Isn't that convenient?

Thanks, that’s great to know! 👍

Does anyone happen to know what the typical price range for T-shirts is these days?

I haven't seen a single word from you yet. If you have something to say, say it—but let’s get one thing straight: I don't have time for fluff or half-baked opinions. If you're looking for a casual chat, go find someone else. If you want to actually dive into the nuances of the subject at hand, then proceed. Just don't expect me to sugarcoat my response if your logic is flawed. kaže:
Water smuggling—it’s a classic, isn't it? There’s something about the sheer audacity of trying to bypass the system for something as basic as hydration that just gets under my skin. It’s one of those petty, small-time hustles that people think won't be noticed, but they fail to realize how much effort goes into maintaining the supply chains we all take for granted. You see it happening in certain circles, people trying to dodge the markups by moving crates through back channels, acting like they've outsmarted the entire retail infrastructure of the country. Honestly, it’s just a nuisance. It creates these weird little imbalances in local availability, and frankly, it's a headache for anyone actually trying to run a legitimate business. It's just another example of people looking for a shortcut instead of playing by the rules.

It isn’t even necessary. Over at the Apple tent, they’ve already got those clunky, overpriced water dispensers set up—just a couple of them, but they're there.
I honestly don't see why people keep bringing this up—it’s become such a tedious loop of conversation. Every time I turn around, there’s another thread or another comment trying to drag us back to the same tired arguments, and frankly, I’m exhausted by the lack of intellectual rigor being applied here. It feels like we're just spinning our wheels in the mud at this point. kaže:
The absolute wildest text I ever saw scrolling across someone's screen—and I mean truly unhinged—was just: "when is stillness?" 🤣

Let’s talk about the sheer audacity of blatant self-promotion. It’s becoming an absolute plague lately—this constant, shameless need for people to turn every single conversation into a pitch for their own brand or ego. Honestly, it’s exhausting. You go into a discussion looking for actual substance, some level of intellectual exchange or even just a decent debate, and instead, you get hit with someone treating the entire thread like their personal LinkedIn feed. It’s incredibly disrespectful to the community. When you pivot from a genuine topic to "Oh, by the way, look at what I did" or "Check out my project," you aren't contributing; you're just hijacking the space. It’s that specific brand of narcissism where the individual thinks their every move is inherently interesting enough to warrant an interruption. It feels cheap—low-effort, desperate, and frankly, quite tacky. We should be here to discuss ideas, not to act as a captive audience for someone's unsolicited commercial break. unknownLet’s not even go there... 🙂 Go tell your stories about the second half of that duet to someone who’s actually sober... 😬
Kevin Chavez3 said:The critics would probably argue that someone should have actually flagged this somewhere—though, in my opinion, the idea of just quietly whispering the truth to people one by one is a perfectly valid strategy as well. 😳

Man, they really missed the mark on this one—they’re out here acting like they’ve mastered some kind of genius viral marketing strategy, but honestly? It’s just a joke. Pure nonsense. 🙄 😁:

Alopex said:The wristbands are hideous, too. They're just huge pieces of cheap plastic. Gross.

I honestly thought those wristbands were one-size-fits-all. Aren't they?
Anyway, what’s actually the best way to tag attendees at multi-day festivals? To me, wristbands seem fine. It’s easy for the organizers. You can see if someone's wrist isn't matching up and tell them to beat it. Fair enough. If I were running the show, though, I wouldn't waste a dime on wristbands. Instead, once the cash is handed over at the gate, I'd just blast everyone with a paintball gun.

🙂
- Step right in!
- Does this smudge cover all the days? Can I wash it off?
- Yeah, go ahead, I'll see you tomorrow...

But then again, it's only me...

Last year, they didn't even bother with wristbands, and honestly? Everything went flawlessly. I mean, tickets were basically flying off the shelves at two different spots—one sell-out per day, easy.

I don't get why everyone's whining; I think it's actually pretty cool. It makes me feel important, honestly. Like I’m sixteen again and they finally let me go to SXSW. Hell, I wouldn't even care if I had to wear a trash can on my head. This 😍

bracelet...

I’m trying to picture Carrot walking around with a bucket on their head 🙂

People at work are giving me some pretty weird looks because of this wristband, and yeah, it’s a bit distracting. Maybe it’s some kind of penance that'll actually make the concert hit harder.😕

Since we’re already talking about bracelets...

A close friend of mine is still wearing a wristband from a music festival she attended years ago 🤔—I honestly haven't quite found the courage to ask her why. Just as a little side note—this wasn't even her first concert, and she’s well into her thirties. 😬

Look at this cheap junk 😍 🙏

Honestly, I couldn't even pick a color—if they had options, I probably would've just grabbed 6 tickets at once to cover all my bases.😳

Look, coastalpanther11, there are wristbands out there that aren't just cheap, tight plastic. They don't feel like trash to wear and they don't scream "look at me, I'm visible from a satellite."
Actually, I can show you today because I'm still wearing mine; it's a souvenir from the festival, even though months have passed. I took off my Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival band, but I'm putting it back on today. I'll toss it after the fest is over.

Wristbands work for festivals—that's a proven fact—but they don't have to be these crappy ones! Especially when we're talking about weekday gigs.
The fact that our American event organizers are cheapskates is a whole different story. 😉

I don't know, I guess some people just have this obsession with everything being plasticized and polished 😳

To me, the setups at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and those gritty biker rallies looked way worse 😳

I mean, their wristbands were definitely higher quality, but seriously, you shouldn't be wearing one two months after the show... 🤣

In fact, I can show you mine today since I'm still wearing them—they’re a great souvenir from the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, even though it's been a few months now.

And those are loose enough to adjust too, so you can swap them around, right?

My dear friend, what on earth are you doing? 😬

So, please—explain that hideous festival wristband to me now. 😈

Just kidding, just kidding. 😘
