Alright, fine. You want me to break down that hideous Radarfest wristband for you? Here we go. 😈

Just kidding. 😘

🤣 Not even close. Not even a chance.
I wasn't even on their radar, so I have zero clue what those bracelets actually look like.
I still rock them because they were my first real taste of those massive festivals—we’re talking crowds of over 100,000 people—and honestly? I loved every second of it. Yeah, most of my friends give me crap and laugh their heads off because I’m still wearing them, but whatever. Screw it. Everyone’s got their own brand of crazy. 😬
Those bracelets? Forget about it. They have zero stretch, and good luck trying to loosen them up even a little bit. Once you finally manage to get one off, that’s it—it's game over. You aren't getting back in.

That’s it. I’m done talking about bracelets. Seriously, enough is enough. 😳

This isn't quite what I had in mind--not exactly an NP😛

That paintball setup looks great—really lovely work.😍 🙏

A friend of mine is still rocking a wristband from Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 🤔 and I honestly haven't had the guts to ask her why. Just for context, this wasn't exactly her first rodeo—she’s over thirty. 😬

Then you have those people who wear the exact same T-shirt for a month straight😁 until they basically become social pariahs.

Can anyone give me a ballpark figure on the turnout? The Washington Post is claiming somewhere between 3,000 and 4,000 people based on police reports, but The New York Post is reporting anywhere from 8,000 to 10,000. 😕
I mean, it’s a massive gap. I get that it’s a huge venue and getting an exact head count is basically impossible, but there's a difference between being slightly off and being miles apart. 😕

I was expecting Sonic Youth to be some kind of religious experience, but honestly? It just wasn't for me. What's your take? 🙏

Those bracelets have such a cult-like vibe, 😍 walking through downtown or even just hitting the local golf courses, and you see those orange bands everywhere. You catch these half-knowing glances passing by total strangers, almost like everyone is trying to guess who showed up to catch certain sets at the 😁

I suppose today is bound to be a good one! 🙂

So, I kind of wanted to brag about how Lee Ranaldo actually noticed my Brother James banner (😳) — he gave me this little smirk, too, sort of like how Santa Claus smiles at a kid who’s clearly lost their mind while asking for a million toys for Christmas.

Nicole Baker said:I’m just walking around town—half the golf courses look orange—and you run into people wearing those things constantly. There are these half-judgmental looks being traded between total strangers, and honestly, you can probably tell who showed up to see which act at Coachella😁

🤮 🤮 🤮

the worst part about having wristbands is definitely🤮

The Gustafi set was absolutely insane. I got way too wasted. What do you guys think? 🙏

gentlepuma20 said:Ugh, okay, fine, let me brag for a second—Lee Ranaldo actually spotted my Brother James banner (😳), and he gave me this look... you know, the way Santa Claus smiles at some special needs kid who tells him they want to grow up to be five feet tall by Christmas.

😳

Now THAT is actual useful info, unlike those stinking bracelets 🙏

I swear, Mark Ibold gave me this look—honestly, he looked at me like I was some total lunatic—just because I was standing there screaming my head off for Pavement and Loretta's Scars. 😳 And that whole damn NPC energy from the crowd... they were just there to shake their asses, not to have some high-minded debate about the quality of freaking overpriced wristbands. Honestly, things were even worse back when I was at Lollapalooza. 😳

A buddy of mine scored a meet-and-greet with Sonic Youth over on Route 101, but he actually bolted the second he saw the rest of the crowd. There were these hardcore fanatics showing up with entire discographies just to have them sign 🙈

That junkie with the grill from happy Mondays actually waved at me, but honestly, that’s hardly something worth bragging about... 😬

Hey, how many people actually showed up? Was it 3,000 or 10,000? These damn wristbands 😁

I'm fairly certain there weren't more than four of them—honestly, I'm quite sure—because I ran into every single person I know, and really, everyone I have ever known... 😁

If you ask me, there were way more people there than at the Lollapalooza festival...
